HEy I want to do something to get my college involved in the give kids the world charity...i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas for some fundraising possiblilities?

If you have Malleys candy where you live, they are big into fundraising.
Silent auction with gift cards donated by restaurants, etc.

I immediately knew you were from Cleveland before looking at your location. I think Malley's is pretty much a Northeast Ohio only thing but you might be able to order online of find a local chocolate shop.

This is a great suggestion. You might be able to get your university to help with the organization or there are local race promoters that will help organize but will take a portion of the proceeds as a fee. Giving up some of the proceeds for the promoters might not sound ideal but a lot of times their being involved will get the run more publicity and the increased participants will make up for the lost fees.
