Give Kids The World Has anyone been ???

Hi, forgot to say earlier, I read a post about someone who had a t-shirt printed for their child's birthday, which they wore on the day. It,s my 7th birthday today etc. She said her child had lots of attention from cast members etc but also other tourists were saying happy birthday when they read it. Might work for you, less embarrassing than streamers banners etc! I'm planning on getting t- shirts printed before we go but, whether I get around to it is another thing!

printing tshirts is a wicked way of annpuncing his birthday really good idea !! I do have a copy of the brits guide and have been a bit obbsessed with it the kids have even taken to flicking it through it for the pictures . I have tried to an iteniary (about 6 times ) But as I have learnt more and more about GKTW it seems that a different activity happens every night so until we get there and find out what they are it is very difficult to work out as we dont know what to expect and what time we need to be back to the village to join in !!
Also my ds birthday is on a monday which is the busiest day at MK but thts where we are going to have to have his birthday as thats where we have booked his dinner !!
Any advice on pre planning would be good or does it not matter so much idf we dont have to wait in line anyway ???

having read your posts i am sure GKTW will be able to assist you or speak to cast members prior to your visit,for a visit as special as yours i feel they will go the extra mile to help your son meet his favourite characters and give you special memories. have a wonderful time

Hi louise,
the GTKTW people probably have it all sorted really, will have all the info you need and more than me probably, as long as you are prepared and have read up on the things you want to do, (which you have in the brits guide,) you cant go wrong really.

Hi i would just like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has helped me and offered advice on this thread its certainly made me aware of lots of different things.
As for having fun we really intend to and I think it would be difficult not to in a place like Disney.
