Give a Pint, Get a Pint

My Red Cross is copying Disney's 2010 promotion of "Give a Day, Get a Day". After donating my pint of blood this morning, I got a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream!

And two packs of cookies and juice...

(ok, they are not copying on purpose, just a coincidence..)

Our Red Cross did this in August with Friendly's except we received a coupon for a free 1.5 qt (or whatever size the old "half gallon" has become) carton. I was giving blood anyway, so it was a nice bonus! A little blood in exchange for ice cream is a great deal in my book.
