If you have done this what will you do now that you have (or will) complete your service. Will you plan on volunteering more?

DD11 and I haven't done it yet, still trying to find things in our immediate area that will have both of us do it. But, I think we will continue to volunteer for different things.
Up until recently, I didn't realize the various volunteer programs. Like I said, I am trying to find somethng that both dd and I can do together without driving too far.

We did do our GAD volunteering and received our vouchers. However we have been doing volunteer service most weekends for over 20 years and will continue to do so for as long as we are able. There are so many things that people can do to help others these days. And we have never received anything before the GAD voucher and we don't expect to receive anything after this. It's just a part of our life.

We do several hours of volunteering every month anyway. We signed up for Give a Day and will be doing an additional project his weekend. We will continue doing what we always do after that.

I haven't done my GAD volunteering just yet, but I will be 2 weeks from now. But I volunteer fairly regularly through work, so even if I don't do anything through HON I'll still be volunteering.

My husband and I worked at the Red Cross..he at the reception desk and me offering orange juice. We got our vouchers.
We already volunteer at a local mission, but I wouldn't mind filling in at the red cross. They said it was a lot quieter than usual. I had trouble staying awak in between donors.
