Give a Day upgrade question

It says I can upgrade my one ticket, but what exactly does that mean? If I upgrade to a 5 day hopper, does that mean I just pay for a 4 day hopper? So I can't upgrade with Undercover Tourist obviously. So, are most people getting a FastPass?

You will actually get a voucher that can be redeemed only at the parks for a one day ticket. Once you have that ticket you can upgrade to a five day ticket. The total cost you will have to pay will be the cost of a five day ticket minus the cost of a one day ticket.

This is a much better savings than simply getting a five day ticket at a four day price.

Since the one day ticket can only be given to you at the park your tickets cannot be via undercover tourist.

Five day adult base = $228. Value of GAD ticket = $79. Difference is $149 plus 6.5% tax on $149 = $9.69, Total = $158.69.
