This may have been asked before, however the search function is basically useless to me, it never works. Is Giselle (Enchanted) part of the princess line up now, can we see here anywhere? We saw that she was in the Christmas parade, but I wasn't sure if they've made her available on a regular basis, dd8 would love to meet her!

They had her for the pre-show parade.. but I have NOT seen her in the parks. Sorry :guilty:

I am not 100% positive but from what I have heard she is in the parade and has not been available for autographs. I could be wrong, though.:)

I actually contract to Disney, and was told by one of their Marketing VPs that while Giselle is technically a "Princess", she won't be included as one of the official Disney Princesses.

The reason for this is to prevent Amy Adams from claiming royalties to the official Disney Princesses line.

I'm not sure if that means that there will or won't be Giselle sightings, so if not, that may be part of the reason why.

I thought it was funny.

I also heard rumors that her dress is outrageously expensive ($10,000 expensive), I don't think they have a dress for her to ACTUALLY walk. Last I saw her she was in her carriage.

Couldn't they just have Giselle do meet and greets in one of her "curtains" dresses? After all, Belle is often out in her blue dress so she doesn't spoil her yellow gown. ;)

DD would be thrilled to meet Giselle! :cloud9:

Even the pink dress she wears in the animated part of the movie would work. Its what most of the products with her on them have her wearing...

I agree and was waiting for some one to ask that, since I did. But it makes me wonder if they want the most "Bang for their Buck" so to say after spending all that dough on a single dress. So parading her literally around instead of a mix of walking and parade.

I don't think they would ever do the pink dress since its so associated with the animated Giselle (which is very different in the context of this movie verses others since it is established for the audience the difference between animated and "real life"). But why they can't do the blue park number dress seems a bit silly since that would be a great meet and greet dress.

I hope she does get some time in meet and greets and legalities and high priced dresses don't get in the way, she is a cute character who I would love to see do meet and greets.

PS- Is this a good place to start a rumor about hearing they were hiring a new Tinkerbelle? The person who told me could not tell me (cause they didn't know) if she would walk around or be in only parades, but I heard she is very tiny and perfect for the role. Not much help I know but I thought it was cool!:rotfl:

Tinkerbell is currently in the parade. I did hear a rumor that were going to start Tinkerbell meet-n-greets to go along with the new Disney Fairies line but I have no idea how they are going to explain why she is "normal" size. :confused3

Yeah I knew she was already in parades, but I heard this Tink is supposed to be more petite. I don't think they will try to explain her size since it can be explained by "Pixie Dust" besides I think because of the merchandising many people have almost forgetten that she is supposed to be tiny.
