Good news, I have the Friday of the Girly weekend off now. They needed me to work an extra day on a weekend in August and I said I was happy to do this as long as I get 4th September off instead. Everybody is happy with this arrangement.

I can't believe it I just checked availability for the Ramada and all they have left for the weekend is executive rooms at silly prices. I sent Michelle a PM a little while ago to see if we could firm up arrangements, but unfortunately she seems to be away from the forum at the moment. I just checked the Crowne Plaza, which seems to be very close to the Mailbox (less than 200 yards) and they still have twin rooms available for GBP58 per night based on two sharing. So that might be an option that will allow us to still come.
