Many thanks to ELY3857, whose help has proved invaluable in being able to show you my photos. Without her there would have been no trip report some of you by the end of it might be wishing there hadnt!!!
Me (Andrea) Aged 42 and obsessed with Disney and sunbathing. We have been going to Disney for the last 2 years and I absolutely love it because I am able to combine the two. Work on a reception for 4 hours a day so I can have a crafty look at the DIS in works time!!
Husband (Andy) Aged 42 and works every hour for us to have at least 4 holidays a year. Hates sitting still for too long but isnt keen on Disney due to the fact that he cant take it easy and relax!
Kara Aged 20 and at Sheffield University studying Banking. Currently working right next door to Manchester Airport at a mortgage company. Loves sunbathing, expensive clothes and roller coasters.
Lucy Aged 10 with red hair and a temper to go with it. Daddys girl who wondered how she was going to manage for 2 weeks without anyone to run to telling tales! Hates the hot weather but is a serious ride freak and will go on any ride.
48 weeks previous to departure date and only 2 days after having come back from CBR and HRH we were all sat round the dining room table. I suggested that next year (2006) would be a good time to take both girls on holiday. Kara, who is 20, is on a working years experience from University and has no exams. Andy (husband) said that I could take the girls on my own so began the GirlsonTour trip planning.
We decided to go to CSR mainly based on Simon Veness Guide to Orlando book which stated that it was an undiscovered treasure and we also decided that Kara would just love the HRH so an hour later it was all booked. May 10th 2006 10 nights at CSR and 4 nights at HRH.
Cleared it with Lucys headmistress, who I might add was fantastic!
Planning began well actually it was only me who was counting down. The others must have got seriously sick of me telling them how many weeks there was left, what rides we were going on and in what order (does anyone else dream about their routes round the park?!)
180 days to go booked Rose & Crown for 8pm and Rainforest Café at DTD for 9pm (obviously on two separate dates!). We are not big eaters so decided that these two were enough.
To be continued
