Hi My sister, DN(9) and myself are going to Disney August 22 - August 28 We want to go to the Orlando Premium Outlets on International Drive. We will not have a car as we are flying and using Magical Express. Does anyone know how we could get there? I called and a taxi would be about $40 Any help would be great Thanks and have a magical day!

You can always take the Lynx Bus. It is not the quickest option, but it has to be the cheapest. You get on the bus at Downtown Disney and transfer by Seaworld.

I'm doing a one day rental with national. We'll pick up at MCO then drive it the first day to do shopping, a walmart run, and maybe dinner off site. The next morning I'll drive it to the Dolphin, drop it off then catch the boat to DHS. Easy Peasy.

In Oct a SUV will run about $75, but I'm betting there will be some last minute sales that pop up. and if not we may just switch to a car if theres a better deal but if not then I'll just pay the $75. For me it's worth it as there are stores at the Vineland Outlet that are not in my hometown or the outlets that I normally shop.

I looked at the bus but it's an hour each way and that was not acceptable.

I also thought about taxi from DTD to Outlets but I do need to do the walmart run as I have to pick up a few items that are too hard to carry down in baggage and doing another taxi run would be more than the one day rental.

Just curious, is there anything at those outlets you can't get at outlets anywhere else? We wondered as we drove by. The outlets around DC are not worth the trip.

You know there are two on I-drive right?

There is one closer to WDW at 8200 Vineland Avenue
Orlando, FL 32821
(407) 238-7787

They offer a shuttle-Transtar Transportation
Shuttle service available from hotels in Lake Buena Vista. Please call (407) 858-3008 for schedule, rates and reservations.

You could also grab a taxi from DTD. The outlet is close to DTD (around the corner (not walkable) just up 535. I can't imagine a taxi would cost 40 to that location.

The one on Vineland has a Vera Bradley Outlet, Fossil D&B and Prada none of which are at my local outlet or the one I frequent on buying trips in the next state over.

The Disney outlets at these malls also tend to carry more park items than the Disney outlet back home.

I don't always buy stuff but I like to look at brands I like when I can just incase there is a good buy on something I like.

here's a store list for Vineland

Yes I know but the one on International Drive has a Juditha Ripka outlet which is very interesting to my sister

Lynx bus, I ride trolley, taxi or rent a car.

I can tell you I made the mistake of trying to go to that outlet last week and sat in traffic for 20 minutes just to find no parking (unless you valet). So if you take a taxi make sure you factor in "waiting" time in the cost.

We took the Lynx bus from Downtown Disney and back and it was quite enjoyable. Saying that though we live in a larger city and we use public transit all the time as we do not have a car. For us it was well worth paying just the bus fare and getting a transfer by Sea World. We have relatives who live in the Orlando area and they could not believe that we used the Lynx buses to go shopping but like we said it is no different than what we do everyday. We felt 100% safe on them and also very safe waiting by Sea World. In fact on our trip this coming January we are actually thinking about takin the Lynx bus to and from Sea World for a little something different.
