I have a trip next month with my 2 college aged dd's. They haven't been much help as far as suggesting where they'd like to eat. Their only request was Tea at the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Any fun suggestions? No DP, but we do have a TIW card (if I can find it!!). One dd will be 24 and the other will be just shy of 20, so no adult beverage fun for her.

DH is joining us for the weekend & we'll be doing Artist Point then.

What parks are you visiting? Are you looking for something that screams Disney or are you looking for something that is more chain-like?

We're very into Disney - we're DVC & this isn't our first trip by a long shot, but the first one without dh.

I'd like to take them to JellyRolls one night - but is 21 & over only?

Looking for "fun" to a 20 year old is different than for for an 11 year old! No character buffets need apply ;-)

I'm not sure about the age restriction at Jellyrolls but I'm sure someone else can give you that information.

What restaurants haven't you tried yet? I would try and book a few of those. Is a girls' night at V&A's in your budget?

Personally I've never eaten at a restaurant in Disney I didn't like, but I'm not particularly picky either. There are some places that just have a better ambiance than others. Are you looking for a get in/eat/get back to the rides meal or are you looking for something more relaxing?

My personal favorite from the last trip was CG, but I am also the type that likes to eat at chainy-places like Planet Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe. But I would also totally be the one who wanted to eat at CRT during the fireworks one night, too.

To me, it just depends on what kind of trip you want this to be.

We're looking for a more layed-back trip. We'll hit our favorite rides at the parks, but also plan for some pool time and general relaxing.

Not into the chainy-places at all. We can do those at home. T-Rex and Rainforest would be too "kiddish" for the my girls at this age. We wouldn't want to try to talk over the great apes or dinosaur animatronics.

I just happened to look at your siggy and noticed that you're going in three weeks. I would highly recommend checking the reservation system to see what restaurants have any availability before you get your heart set on any particular one.

Girls' trips are the best! My 22-year-old's favorite restaurant is Flying Fish, followed closely by Le Cellier. It might be easier to get a reservation at FF, or you could eat at the counter by the kitchen. I love the counter; it's great fun to watch the chefs.

She also loves treats from the bakery in France (and your oldest daughter might enjoy the Grand Marnier slushy at the beverage stand)!

Enjoy your vacation with your daughters! I know you'll have a great time! :thumbsup2

Le Cellier is out this close to our trip, I'm sure, but I will check out Flying Fish!

And the bakery at France is a given - we usually get a few treats and eat them when we are watching Illuminations.

Haha - those Grand Marnier slushies are kinda stiff. Younger dd will have to make sure the other 2 of us get home. ;)

And I thought I was the only one who couldn't handle a slushy! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We haven't tried Jellyrolls, but we went to Raglan Road on one of our trips. Your daughters might enjoy the music and dancing. I'm not sure why we didn't go there on our last trip; I think we just ran out of time!

I just checked - Jellyrolls is 21 & over only, so that would leave dd19 out. Ragland Road is a great suggestion - we can all go there!

I might hit JR with the older daughter after dh arrives. He can do something fun with the younger one.

How about something fun, like a trip to Akershus for a princess breakfast? Since it's just the girls!

My cousin and I went when we were both 19 or 20. We enjoyed a trip to Chef Mickey's and talked to the characters there. Also, once on a family vacation I went with my mom (while dad and brother went on a fishing trip) to breakfast at the GF with Mary Poppins (1900 Park Fare?)

Good luck, and have fun!!!
