Girls Trip Take 2 - Labor Day Weekend 2021, Christmas 2021 and July 2024 Trips

I have such a dilemma.

Danielle called me yesterday to tell me she finally got an email telling the Leaders they can attend one Jollywood with a guest. They were not given this privilege last year and it's not for all CMs at Studios. She wants to bring me. Sounds simple right?

The complications are she's still trying to come home for Thanksgiving plus now she has added a request for the second weekend in December so she can go to a family get together with Dennis' family that our son Brent and his wife are going to since it's in Texas. Our hope would be to have all 3 siblings together. None of her time has been approved yet. She has asked for the party on December 18th, the day after she would return from visiting us (if approved). That would mean I would need to fly back with her and then fly back to New Orleans on the 19th. I also don't have much vacation time to use. I would have to use 2 days for this. And I have a trip in January to Disney already booked. Flight prices did just go down today compared to what I saw yesterday.

I really want to go.

I couldn't resist. I'm going. I booked my flights tonight. I'll fly in late Tuesday night and fly back out Thursday morning, just enough time to go to the party. The flights were $65 cheaper today than yesterday, so I took that as a sign I needed to go. Now I have to figure out what to wear and do lots of research. I'm most interested in the shows, food and drinks.

I'm researching what I want to do in the small amount of time we will have.

After breakfast we used our Multi pass for MMRR. From there we went to Frozen, which is always a family favorite. The snope was really heavy and of course we all enjoyed the Historians. It still amazes me that there is always something new each time we go.

The Frozen sing a long is one of my favourite attractions and like you. I am always amazed there is something fresh.

It was now time for our Multi Pass for TSMM. This ended up being pretty painful. I think they were only running 1 line so it took forever. We were in the line that goes through Andy's room, I can't remember the last time I had this line. The boys did not handle the wait very well.

Poor little guys...it's a long wait!

It's been really hard for her with the 2 youngest being so close in age and both wanting her attention. It really helped when she had Dominic at Danielle and I had Gabriel at the hotel. Michelle does have lots of help at different time. She comes over at least 3 nights a week to hang our with us and also goes to her in-laws.

Such a blessing for the boys to have both sets of grandparents close by.

So happy you decided to go! You can always make more money but time together to make memories is never guaranteed.

It is. We are also blessed to have them close. I have family and friends who aren't blessed with seeing their grandkids like we do.

So happy you decided to go! You can always make more money but time together to make memories is never guaranteed.

I'm very excited! I think going so close to Christmas and going to a party will just amp up the Christmas Season.

Of course you had to go! When your daughter calls and invites you to a super special event with her, there is absolutely no choice! Glad the fares came down to make the decision easier. Y'all will have a blast!

Well Hurricane Milton has come and gone. I'm very thankful it was downgraded from a Cat 5 to a Cat 3. My heart goes out to all the people who had to live through that Cat 3. I know the road to recovery will be hard for many.

I'm also very thankful Danielle made it through with no damage. She also still has power. She did have a big scare with rising water. The pool that is right next to her building overflowed and reservoir behind her building almost topped the banks. There was water flowing down the hallway outside her apartment, but she did sandbag and did not get water in her apartment. I have seen where others in Florida were not as lucky when it came to rising water.

She has officially survived a major hurricane without her family. She is truly an adult now.

I'm so glad you decided to go!!! I was coming to say GO!!!!!

My Mom and I are doing a Disney cruise in May, and already somehow managed to add an MK day beforehand. When we booked our flights, we got a really early one, so I'm thinking I may add a day at Epcot to surprise her!! Mother-Daughter time is so special. I'm really glad you are going!

I was checking in with Danielle on IG! I would've been SO terrified living through that away from home. Talk about an experience to grow from!!! Glad she did OK!

Glad to see all is well with Danielle. I was watching for her on IG and saw her post about the sandbags. Now she’s survived a hurricane without her family I reckon she’d can do anything!
So sad watching the news and seeing the destruction Milton caused. Thinking of all those affected.
