What about a photo in front of the Mickey flowers just as you come through the turnstiles? That way the CoD ladies could turn right around and head to the store. What time does CoD open anyway? The park opens at 8 that day so I hope we would have enough time then to get back for the BBQ.

The visual image in my head makes me laugh at this thought. For the random passerby they see a large group of women in matching tops walk in, take a photo, and walk out.

That could be us! I vote for skipping PFF this year. The pic is always nice, but we can do one elsewhere. If we arrive before 9 am we should be able to get a great group shot without many crowds.

And I am happy to announce that Linda, Brianne, Patrice and I have a name for our scavvy hunt team. We will be called "The Meandering Mousers"!

I have no idea how this happened, but I somehow managed to buy airplane tickets and pay for hotel without ever registering that my son Nico's birthday overlaps with this trip - 2/24. I've told him like five times - no, you can't go to DL on your birthday and here I am missing his birthday to go to DL. Not looking to win selfish mom of the year award. Must figure out how to make this all good. Boo on me!!

First of all how many us are going to CoD?
If it is quite a few of us, then why don't we still meet at the Priccess Faire, and take the pictures without the Princesses. It is still a very pretty backdrop. Would they let us behind there, do you think?
Or like Jen suggested in front of the Mickey Floral.
No matter what, we can still wear our tiaras!

Jill, thanks for confirming CoD! Doesn't PFF start an hour after opening? If that is true then it will be at 9:00 and usually takes some time. Does everyone think that we will actually have time for CoD and still get back to the park for the BBQ by 11:30? I think we will be pushing it, at least for me as I am bringing an empty suitcase to fill! And did I hear something about them closing that area and moving it to a smaller area that might not accommodate our group? I guess what I am getting at is, and I know this might be blasphemy, what if we skipped PFF? Just a thought.

I would rather shop than do the photo. Has anyone said what time CoD opens? It could still be cutting it close to the BBQ.

Tomorrow I am participating in my first ever Murder Mystery Party and I am an aspiring magician (that is not very good.) My name is Jade Pendragon and when I botch my tricks I throw temper tantrums I found a wand, top hat, and small cape at the party store tonight as well as some cheap tricks (not the band) at the Dollar Store. I think this is going to be a blast. I am actually hoping I am the killer. We can give leading details so I am thinking of mumbling about my "successful magic trick." Any sugestions on character traits or sayings?

LisaDog and I would love to go to CoD! Sounds like great fun - we would need to bum a ride. Beth - maybe you can add it to the sign up schedule on the first page and ask people who have cars to say how many they can take.

The trip is just around the riverbend girls!! So exciting.
I leave for WDW next Tuesday night, with 6 of my old Disney Store CM friends! It's a very long overdue trip, that we finally all pulled together. A few have never been before, so thats always fun!

Dang straight we can wear our tiaras Mel. And I do not think anyone is allowed behind the ropes unless admitted to see the princesses. It is pretty closed off and "policed".

I, uh, won't be wearing a tiara though. This princess lost her's.

All of the planning to the last second is too much for me. I did plan to do the PFF photo shoot since it is free and requires little of me, just showing up. I also think it is pretty amusing to watch the families in line who look horrified by the herd of women waiting in line. I know they are thinking, "How long is this going to take?".

However, if no PFF, more early morning rides for me. Hurrah.
