I never win anything. I enter lots of contests, but I've never won anything of significance...my luck is just saving up for a BIG win I think ;).

My luck isn't even saving up. It's THAT lazy

Hoopty747! Love it! Hahahahahaha! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I did want to mention that I would like orders in for the purple tee by the end of this month. I believe that I have most of the requests already.
Beth, do you have any of the sizing info from last year's first page planning thread? If so, would it be easy to put it up again, minus the dollar expenses, so we don't into trouble? :rolleyes1 If not then I will be sure to dig out my old info for you again.
Hi Mel! I did a quick search and found the thread from last year. This is the info I found that Steph had posted on the front page. Let me know if this is what you were referring to:

http://www.hanesprintables.com/Catal...ProductID=4980

If you go this website, you can look at the sizing under "Product Specs."

Here is how you measure.

Take a tee shirt you like, and lay it flat.

*Measure across the tee, just under the armholes. That is the "Body Width."
*Measure from the back neckline down to the bottom of the tee. That is the "Body Length."
*Measure the sleeve from the shoulder side seam to the end of the sleeve. That is the "Sleeve Length."(top)
* Measure from the center back of the neck to the end of your sleeve. That is the "Sleeve Length." (CBN)
*Measure from the shoulder side seam to shoulder side seam. That is the "Across Shoulder" length.

Now for those of you who will be sending me their tees.
DO NOT WASH YOUR SHIRT!!! I was told that the dyes do not work as well on washed shirts.

Please go ahead and start measuring yourselves.

PM me
* Your size
*If you want bling
*If you will be sending me your own tee. Please put your name on it somewhere. All cotton or 50/50%.

What parts of that do you want posted?

While you're there could you get me some skinny as well? I could really use some. :rolleyes1
:lmao: Me, too!

Hoopty747! Love it! Hahahahahaha! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
I thought that was pretty clever as well. ;)

If anyone is looking at booking SuperShuttle, Travelocity has a good discount code. Not sure how long the code will be good, but it's $3 off each way per party. So if two are travelling together, have EACH person make their reservation SEPARATELY so you can EACH save the $3. You DO have to pre pay at the time of booking, but including a tip, my cost was $17 round trip. Can't beat it. The code is UYR59.

Beth the link for the shirts didn't work. Is there perhaps a new one that we can go to to look?

Mom and I wanted the purple AND a pink shirt whether we make it or not but I couldn't get it to work so not sure about sizes. Thanks. :)

Beth and Kelly,

I will look up the current website address and post for you ASAP.

The excitement at our home.. My son (18) was walking home from McDonald's tonight, crossing at an intersection, when he got hit by a car! He's got a few scrapes, will likely have bruises..ouch! He got checked over by an ambulance and we are keeping an eye on him tonight. A little scary but thankful he's okay.

Have I mentioned we've had a screwy odd fall?
The car died, my 15 yr old needed emergency dental surgery, had the unexpected expense of replacing a computer monitor and helped a family member with diapers/wipes. Living room TV is dying, slowly, thankfully we can wait for that purchase.. or even go without. And now... :scared::faint:

Deep breath... Things could be much worse, there is far more that is going right and I am thankful for all of it. :flower3:

You have a great attitude about everything. :goodvibes Thankyou for sharing your perspective. All of us need to look around and count every single blessing we have in our lives!
Take care, and keep us updated on your son. :flower3:

Thanks for posting Lisa!

It looks like the flight us NorCal Diva's are taking in is going to be full of fun!!! Is 10 am too early to have a drink?!

Bernice~ Glad your son is okay! Sounds like you and I have similar luck :scared1:

We spent last night in Nevada having an early Thanksgiving with the in-laws. The food was delicous! We were able to finally meet one of our nephews (he is 18 months)...he took quite the liking to me, and I to him. So adorable! He got ahold of the pepper shaker and wanted to pepper everyone's plates, then he wanted to feed me from his mom's plate. What a riot. Then my other nephew who is almost two crawled into my lap and hijacked my iphone to play Angry Birds. What a smartie to figure that out! Now I am off to make dinner. :)

This is the website for the pink tee which I hope we can use. www.hanesprintables.com/Catalog/CatalogProduct.aspx?ProductID=5680
The color is "wow pink."

Here is the address for last year's purple tee.www.hanesprintables.com/Catalog/CatalogProduct.aspx?ProductID=4980

Click on "Product Specs" for sizing. Look up my previous instructions for how to measure yourselves.

Hope this helps!
Mel, thanks for the new t-shirt links. I will add that info, along with last year's info, and the measuring tips all to the front page. :thumbsup2

OMG, Bernice. You've had more than your fair share of stress to deal with! Enough already.

The story about your son getting hit really struck a cord with me. Adam, my son who's almost 17, asked to walk to MCDonalds just last Friday. He was actually wanting to go to the Red Box they have there.
Anyway, at first I told him no because it's a few blocks away and you have to cross a major intersection. Well, he argued with me asking when was I going to "let go" and he was almost 17 and I wasn't even going to let him cross the street alone, etc.
I finally gave in and said okay. He went and was fine, but I was worried the whole time and now hearing about your son makes me more nervous!!! Why can't we wrap our kids up in a bubble?? Is that so wrong? :confused3

Anyway, I am glad to hear your son is ok. Thankfully. How is your other son recovering from his dental work? Better now?

Noah is feeling MUCH better, he tried to go to school on Friday (just one day after the dental surgery) but felt pain and nausea on the walk to the bus stop.. so he came back home. But he's been running around with friends all weekend, I'm always amazed at how kids bounce back quickly. Now if he can catch up on school work, I will be very happy! Why couldn't this happen when they had a ton of days off school??

And yeah, it's hard to let them go and you want to keep them safe. But the end goal of our job as a parent is to see them as adults, able to take care of themselves and make good choices in the world.
Noah teased his brother.. "Justin, if you had just waited a few more minutes, you would have had a ride home and not get hit by a car. That's what you get." Ahh, boys. Cross between wanting to smack and shake them.. and wanting to laugh. :lovestruc

Oh Beth, cry in my soup over this? .. puuuhhh-leeeze there are far worse stress inducing "OMG moments" in my life on a daily basis. I learned, just let it roll off and we laugh it away. Laughing is very good for you, all those happy hormones and less wrinkles. ::yes::

:upsidedow:p:teeth:

:worship: I think I adore your attitude! lol
Glad to hear Noah is better now. Kids do seem to bounce back pretty quick.

Miss Melody, when you get a chance can you take a peek at the front page and make sure all that t-shirt info is correct and the way you'd like it.
Also when are you planning to start taking PMs with the measurement info for the pink tee? Are you ready for that?

Just say when, and I will get the word out! :thumbsup2

:goodvibes Thanks! You have a great attitude too! You have a very kind and generous spirit.

CUTE! Isn't it cool how little kids can easily learn to use technology? My sis is debating getting an Ipad or Itouch for her 5 yr old, in some areas of development he is more like a young 3 yr old (4 months premature / one pound at birth, autism) but he also can read at a 2nd grade level. I was skeptical that he could manage the apps, thought maybe the Ipad would be better.. but he picks up his older brother's I touch and knows exactly what to do! Meanwhile his mom scratches her head every time she has to add an app or recharge it. :lmao:

My Noah is a whiz with computer stuff and does some very cool art with photoshop. Where did you learn all that? Shrug, I dunno. Some of it at school or just from using it. But but but.. HOW?? I don't get it!!!??!!

Computer programs are not my thing, just get me the internet to check Facebook and print my coupons, I am a happy lady.

They say Laughter is the best medicine.

February is going to be here before we know it. Hotels and flights being booked, looks like we will be ordering sizes for t-shirts soon.

I think I will be dressing up for Meet and Greet (was bummed when I didn't find items for my original idea) and I also got my gift for the exchange (if I don't decide to keep it) The store I was at only had two left so I just had to get it now.

Got an email stating AMS Character Depot (Disney Character Warehouse) is going to be in town until Jan.1 Decided to check it out today didn't buy too many things some good deals some not so good deals.

Well the start of another work week. Once I get thru this week things will be a little less stressful (at least for a minute) and will get to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family and not think about work.
