Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

The filing isn't that bad but stuff is missing. I'm never sure if it is just ME or it's really not there. I'm filing all sorts of stuff for all different areas. They went digging for stuff for me do after lunch. They found a ton of stuff that someone never bothered to file...months of stuff. So of course, once again, I can't match it up.

They do need to fill the job. If the pay wasn't bad and I could get my Disney trips dates approved for April and December I could be tempted to take it for a while. It's close to home and they are really nice ladies. You never know when someone else there could leave and I could move to a different job.

Dagny--Woohoo on Lauren. She emailed so I knew before I read this post. It's okay if you leave on Sunday. I'll still have Lauren for a roomie for a day. She'll let me. I'm her favourite.

I put a hold on two rooms today. I think Chris is planning on bailing out early too so maybe she and I can room together and you and Lala can room together.

Hi everyone.

I haven't checked in today because I've been on the other side of the DisBoards planning our December trip to WDW. Usually that wouldn't be so complicated, but my MIL and BIL are coming too, so I had to consider their wants/needs/desires. In other words, I didn't want to spend an entire 7 nights/8 days at WDW with an unhappy, cranky MIL.

Anyway, I got our trip booked for December, staying at the AKL!.

Michelle (Zoemakes5), I would do breakfast on Sunday, but I have a feeling I might be a little worse for wear that morning (yes, I'm a rebel.....a very, very naughty rebel.).. I'm still thinking about it though.

It has been a crazy morning. DH had to have emergency surgery on his wrist...long story. He has been in a lot of pain for awhile so he finally goes in last night to see a doctor...well he has something like a bone spur on his wrist bone and had to have it taken care of. He is still in surgery...I am just waiting to pick him up.

AND...
I have a job interview to work at a school right down the street from my house. It is sooo hard to get a position in the schools. So, I am excited...but sad cuz if I get it I don't get any days off since I get Spring Break and summer off. So I will only get to come on the trip sat-sun. I will keep you all posted.

Oh man. What a roller coaster of a morning!! Wow, I'm sorry about your DH. I hope it goes well and he recovers quickly.

As for the job, well, of course I hope you get it!!! But I'll be really bummed if you can only make the trip for 2 days. Still, work is more important in the long run, so good luck and let us know asap!

Was thinking about Sunday night. Who will still be around? I'm more than willing to plan a dinner somewhere, just would like a consensus as to where and about what time? It could be in the parks or outside the parks or off site, doesn't matter to me. Or do people want to meet up for dinner at all?

Thanks! Well, DH survived the surgery and he is resting. He is on some serious pain killers. The nurse said he kept talking about chocolate donuts during the surgery. So, I stopped and got him some chocolate donuts from the bakery.

If I do get this job at the school, I will request Thur and Fri off and see what they say.

I glad you DH made it through OK. But it sounds like he got a little loopy .

Hi ladies! Sorry I haven't been around. Our family is trying to go through an electronic detox right now which means I am not on the computer hardly at all. The kids are off of tv and video games too, which means I have to spend a lot more time with them doing other activities.

Anyway, just know that I'm still really looking forward to the trip in April and will post pics of the lanyards once dh has them done. If anyone has any specific questions for me, just go ahead and PM me, since I check my email more regularly than I will be on the boards.

I'm glad he's doing ok! I hope he isn't in too much pain once those pain killers wear off. That's funny about the chocolate donuts. That's nice of you to pick some up for him.
