Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Okay... I just pm my girls to see what they want, so hopefully I will know later on tonight! But honestly, I dont care where we stay.. The plus for the CCI is the shuttle... (so I dont have to stagger back to the hotel ) But the Hojos really has a nice pool. I dunno, isnt there someone else who can make this decision for me?

I collect squished pennies too! I have since I was 10. I probably have over 150 of them. Too full books from Disneyland and alot more that I need to put in a book. I have to get one where ever we go. My DBF's cousin brought me back one from Niagra Falls! That's probably the one from farthest away that I have. (I am in CA.)

That is so cool. I havent ever thought of looking for them at other places. 150, thats alot. Do you dislay them?

Well for me, based on that reasoning, I'd take CCI since his body does not go anywhere near a swimsuit and hasn't for MANY years!!!

The only thing I'd want a pool area for is to hang out and chat late at night if we feel like it, so I'm not picky on that.

OKay, I just sent out 30 PMs so hopefully we'll hear something soon and we can start deciding how we want to tackle the hotel situation.

And remember, we don't ALL have to stay at the same place. I think that would be fun, but if it doesn't work out at least we know we'll be meeting up in the parks.

When I saw the PM I thought "Im gonna have to choose who I like better??" Umm, why not Orlando?? Sorry, its been an interesting day.

I dont think I really have a preference for the hotel. Right now Im thinking that the cheaper route is best.

Yes...CCI has a private shuttle and the Hojos has ART if you are so inclined, but we have always walked. The more I think about it, the more apt I am to go for the CCI. I just have to hear back, then I am down for whatever.

Huh, I see. I'm kind of thinking the same thing. I like the idea of a private shuttle especially if we are returning after dark. And plus there is the free breakfast which probably isn't much, but it's something.

This is what their website says:

And with the AAA discount, that's not a bad price. Plus I just like the looks of it!!

I'm the same as you though, I need to see what my roomie says. And right this second, I am trying to get my kids into bed.

It's a little bit of a tough call for me since I'm a HOJO fan, but I have to admit, I'm leaning towards the CCI, which I've never actually stayed at before.

I was really hoping for an Entertainment rate at the HOJO though. I'm kinda disappointed, but I know it's a busier time, plus a weekend.

(WHAT?!!! Where's the diet Coke/Pepsi on the CCI breakfast menu for my needed morning caffeine fix?!!!! Oh, silly me! This is a ladies trip afterall, right?!!! What I MEANT was... where is the champagne and Bloody Marys?!!!)

I've never stayed at either place so I have no loyalty to one over the other. I think if an entertainment rate had been available it would have been a no brainer. But now that we know it's not, I'm leaning more with CCI.

Again, having never been to either one, it just seems worth it to pay a little more and get more like the shuttle, the breakfast and on tripadvisor I like the candid shot of CCI better.

Since I am staying only one night I would love to find a roomie who wants to stay at GCH, but in the real world I am not picky and will stay where ever. I have only stayed at hotels further down in the past few years so I really have no input of opinion.

Morning ladies! I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed there is no HoJo ent. rate available. I have NEVER stayed at the HoJo without it and I have always told myself that the day it wasn't available, I would try the CCI. So, it looks like this may be my opportunity to do just that!

I also was so tempted to email Willie back and see if there were ent. rates the following weekend (the one that was almost chosen). But I realize the dates are set in stone now, so it really makes no difference.

I'm sure lots of you are super busy getting ready for the holiday. Hope everyone has a Blessed Thanksgiving!
