Me either. They have so many concerts out there too, but I'm just not into them.

Billy Joel would be cool to see!! But um... the Wiggles? 3 times?? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Well, then again, they are kinda cute....:lmao:

Not that cute! I cant even handle the TV show.. I would :scared: at a concert! Now if Bus Driver Bob was headed my way... ;)

I am cracking up at the concerts....Yikes do I feel old!
First concert was Styx when I was a freshman in HS. Followed by Toto, REO, The Police, Journey and Starship. We used to go to every Styx concert that came to town...every single night they played...major groupies!
Then used to love to go see B52's and Oingo Boingo at Knott's Berry Farm every Halloween. Prior to that I remember see Papa Do Run Run on Stage in TL at DL....LOL
Recent favorites...Celine, Cher (final tour #3), Wynonna, Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, Styx (still) and a few weeks ago I won tickets to see Michael Buble' in May.

:rotfl:

I saw the Wiggles for the third time last week myself :rotfl:

I can't even remember going to other concerts. I think Day on the Green with the Police and Oingo Boingo was my first concert. Then the Thompson Twins...and some other 80s bands. I'm thinking Willie Nelson was the last concert I saw. Other than the Wiggles.
How do you go from Thompson Twins to Willie?? :rotfl2:

I LOVE 80's music. I went to high school in the 80's so a lot of those songs are connected with some special memory for me.

Okay, this has nothing to do with concerts, but you mentioning going to Knott's at Halloween made me wonder if they still do that Knott's Scary Farm??
DH and I used to go to that when we were dating! I LOVE Halloween and had to go there every year.

I should find out if they still do that.... How fun would it be to go back and get good and scared again!! :yay: :yay:

Well, it's after midnight.

That means it's officially April.

That means you all are going to Disney THIS month!!!!!!

New Kids on the Block! You are young. :rotfl2: ;) I used to listen to KIIS all the time and remember the promos for Wango Tango. When I lived in Burbank, I also listened to Star 98.7 with Jamie and Danny in the mornings. I was bummed when he went off the air. I liked them together.

My first concert was also New Kids. I was so excited.

Did you know that NKOTB will be performing together on Friday! This year is the 20th Anniversary of Hangin' Tough. I received this e-mail the other day:

And it's not an April Fool's joke.

Yes, they still do it! My DBF and I go every year. I think they have the best Haunted Houses. But it gets SO crowded you are standing in line most of the time. It's times like this that I'm glad DBF has a bum knee (J/K) but we do get to go right in.

Hey Ladies!

Has anyone heard from Lesley (Tink33)? I PM'd her yesterday because there have been some major changes to the VIP tour (price increase, time allotment, etc.), and I wanted to bring it to her attention.

My first concert was New Kids too! My mom took my younger sister and I, and we were in the second or third to last row! :rotfl:

Ok mine is so embarrassing would you believe I did not go to my first concert until I was 40. And it was really because my boss gave me free tickets.

He came to me first thing in the morning and asked if I like meatloaf. I was well ah yes (thinking I prefer steak:lmao:) well I have free tickets for his concert tonight.

My hubby really likes Meatloaf. We had third row tickets and I swear I loss hearing that night:lmao:

It's been a long and winding road :rolleyes1

I was racking my brain last night trying to remember what concerts I've been to. Here's what I came up with...

High School: :cool2: Thompson Twins, Howard Jones, Police, Madness, Oingo Boingo and that band that sang "Red Red Wine...." (who ARE they? I can't remember!)

College: I was a little more crunchy :hippie:...Grateful Dead (completely sober...really!), James Taylor, Indigo Girls

Post College::3dglasses 10,000 Maniacs, Spin Doctors (I think that's what they were called...pocket full of cryptonite?). Also used to see a band called Nogu Svelo ("Cramp in the Leg" translated) while in Moscow

Post marriage:  Willie (who doesn't love Willie? Come on...he's a legend!), Dan Zanes (2 times) and Wiggles (2 times with Greg and 1 time post Greg. As long as Anthony is still there...Ok, that's kind of creepy to think of Wiggles in "that" way)

So that's my musical story... :scared:

Where did you see any changes? I just looked on the DL website and didn't think anything had changed...

I think I found the changes. Seems they decided to be more inline with the WDW prices. Wonder if they went up too. This is almost double the cost per hour and you need to do 2 more hours

That is so weird! When I posted, I had just gone to the DL site and looked it up. Hopefully, since she's already got us reserved, we're in with the old pricing.

I checked, this new pricing puts DL at the same price & time as WDW for VIP tours.

I think this works out to $75 per person if we have the ten in each group. And the 6 hours will make us 2-8pm. I hope Lesley (Tink33) got the price & minimum hours locked in.

I will miss you beth, even though I've never met you:hug:
Thanks!
I will miss everyone!!

Ooooh, I'd love to go to that again. :yay: I do remember the crowds. Even back when we used to go, we used to wait in line forever for the mazes. I can remember waits of 2 hours! Now that's scary. :scared1:

The log ride is way cool though. It's worth it. And just the atmosphere is cool.

I haven't heard from her. :confused3

:lmao: It certainly has! LOL You've been all over the place music wise.

Well, that sucks.

But if she already booked then it should stay at whatever she booked it at.

I'm hoping she got locked into the original prices *fingers crossed*. I won't back out of it, but I'll have to readjust my budget for the trip.;)

I booked the VIP Tour back in February but just called when I received the pm from Dangermouse.

We are set on the old pricing. I have a contract with $75 per hour and 4 hour minimum.

Don't worry.
