I know what you mean. DH and I haven't had a date night in almost 4 years. It's hard with our family on the East coast and us not.

steph
4 years?? Aw Steph that's too long. Are there any friends or neighbors who could watch the kiddos for a short while so you could have a night out?

I know what you mean. Those were the days.:cloud9:
Eh, now I am old and married. It has been awhile since I went on a date. We go to the movies sometimes and dinner. That is pretty much it.
Yeah, we snuck in that movie the other day while the kids were in school. I guess that is one benefit to him working nights, the day is free. And we've been out to a few shows. I guess I should be grateful for that.

Beth, those orange claws are nasty, with a capital N!
You are so quick witted and funny!

Those flip flop crocs ARE cute, we wear sandals all the time here, I own like two pairs of closed toed shoes and one is a pair of tennis shoes for when I exersize...which is never! Ha!

LOL Thanks, and sorry about the feet. ;)

I would love to be able to wear flip flops year round! Did you used to have your location set at Moreno Valley? I noticed that one day and I wanted to say I am from Corona. Not sure if you are familiar with that area.

The only people we feel comfortable having watch the kids, have 4 kids of their own.
We're looking forward to going to visit each of our families this summer. Our parents have said they'd watch the kids for us so we can go out w/o them. It's hard to even say this, but I don't know what we would do. We were talking last night that we would love to see that movie 27 Dresses. We try to have date night after the kids go to sleep every once in a while but I usually end up falling asleep on the couch.

Ugh... I hear you guys! Dh and I NEVER go out together. EVER. We had a babysitter ONCE. ONCE in 6 years. It was so bad, we have been to scared to do it again. My parents would watch the boy, but not the girl. (she is a screamer) So no help there. Plus they moved to Reno... But my mom did watch them for a few hours in August... The kids were already sleeping, so I dont know how much that counts as babysitting. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Today I just happened to check SW's website to see if the flights were any cheaper. I already got my plane ticket and I was going to be flying in/out of LAX. Welllllll, I checked and was able to cancel that one and get a RT flight into Orange County! WOOT!

Bummer. I would watch your kids if I was there. It is good to get out once in awhile. I would take your family up on that offer!

Well that's nice you'll be able to go out this summer. Time to start thinking now about what you want to do then, so you don't spend the whole night saying, "What do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you wanna do?" :rotfl:

Will they keep them overnight? If so, maybe you could find nice hotel in their area and make a nice night of it. :rolleyes1 ;)

Hey there! I was just wondering how you are feeling lately?

Your kids are still little. It's hard when they are little. We never had anyone but family watch ours when they were young. It's only been since we moved here over the summer that we've had someone not family come in and stay with them.

The older two are old enough that they can keep an eye on the twins. All they really need is an adult here in the house so they aren't alone.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: That's great!!

LOL, I forgot to add in the post about my flight that I got it cheaper than flying into LAX.

Goodnight, Steph! :)

LOL I know. It's barely going to be 9:00 and my eyes are already starting to droop. :rotfl: Guess that's what happens when your 36 with 4 kids. :lmao:

Have a good night.
