Hello All!

I am very excited to be going on a trip with my sister in just a couple of weeks. We only see each other once or twice a year and I am looking forward to this trip with her.
I can't make a choice as to which resort to go with. We have stayed at POP With the kids and PO FQ on our last trip with out the kids. We have a choice of POP and CBR this trip and I am not sure which one to pick for two adult's. We will be there 5 nights and I believe she is planning for us to see the shows and do the things that we didn't get to do last time and doing our favorite things again.

Neither resort has a preferred room available with the discount I have.

I like the theme of both resorts but can't decide which one to do for a girls only trip. Every time I ask her she say's that it doesn't matter. ;)
Thanks!

I would love CBR for the little extra amentities it has; such as the nice lounge/sit-down restaurant, as well as the beach area and newly refurbed pool.

Ok, I haven't actually stayed at CBR but I have stayed at POP. Now that I've stayed at the moderates, I will continue to stay there. I just like the feel of them a lot better. I know that's not specific but it's just the feeling I get.

I'm going on a vacation with my sister in August too and I'm so excited about it! We went on vacation in April with our daughters and it was a lot of work to keep our girls happy. It seemed like when one wasn't crabby, the other one was. So I can't wait to have a leisurely, fun trip where we can just come and go as we please. We each wanted to get up and get going early in the morning but the girls wanted to sleep so we missed some fun stuff. Have a fun time with your sister no matter where you end up staying!

Although we've not stayed at CBR (we stay at a different mod), I would ALWAYS pick a mod over a value. And even more so without kids.

I voted for POP. POP has a great pool bar, is fun, and you would save some $$$ for shows, fine dining, and other pricey activities. :goodvibes

I have stayed at both and I really like both, but if I was going with a girlfriend or sister, I'd want lots of peace and quiet and quiet pools so we could sit around and gab and catch up!

Pop is a great resort, love it along with Music are my favorite values. But at CBR you'll have a larger room, two sinks in a very spacious bathroom, views of Illuminations from around the resort, a full serve restaurant if you want to just "stay in " one night for a nice dinner, and I think some of the nicest quiet pools in WDW. Pop has the Hippy Dippy pool that is great for kids and families but the two quiet pools are just stuck in between the buildings with no trees or shade, not really any ambiance to speak of.

Now i do love the pool bar at Pop and saving money is great, but I think the ambiance and amenities of a moderate are always worth it if possible.

Have a wonderful trip with your sister!:goodvibes

To me, it depends on how much time you intend to spend at the resort. If you're going to be there a lot to sit around by the pool, etc., then pick CBR. If, on the other hand, it's just a place to sleep, I would save the money and stay at POP. DD16 and I are staying at Pop in April and we are using the money saved to do the all day behind the magic tour and some nice dinners.
