I loves me some good rides!!

Except for the gondolas, Mullholland Madness, and Maliboomer. Oh and the Teacups. Used to be one of my favorite ride as a kid. That was used to.

I am such a Disneyland virgin, the only one I have heard of is the Teacups.

What?! I love Mullholland Madness! and the gondolas!

That ride makes me feel like I am going to tip over and fall off the tracks when it makes those upper turns.

I guess basically I'm a kiddie ride kind of girl (except Dumbo - scared of heights )

I am scared of heights too, but I still love Dumbo.
Usually the wait for Dumbo is the scariest part of that ride for me.

Like Sarah (motoX) said some of those are in California Adventure. And like Sarah (sahbushka) said, you will be a pro before long. Sarah is an excellent guide. Make sure she takes you on Grizzly Rapids.

First you and Sarah get me on Splash Mountain and I live to tell the story and now you are trying to get me on something called Grizzly Rapids (better be bears standing around the rapids trying to catch salmon is all I can say), I think I better get on medication before I come.

Hey everyone.

I'll ride anything except Maliboomer.....well, and TOT, unless I've had that Super Big Gulp size margerita first, and even then, I guarantee it will still be a BIG "maybe".

Feeling out of sorts. Had another dream that I was pregnant and in labor again, except this time I was in the hospital while in labor. But the bad part was that mom was being mean to me, poking me with this metal pin to see if my labor was painful enough that I wouldn't feel the poking. Wacky I tell ya!

I'm supposed to go to a memorial service today for an old neighbor of ours from back in the day when I was a kid. I really don't want to go though. I'm going to be there by myself to represent my family (meaning my mom and dad and brother), yet I won't hardly know anyone there except his wife and son. But I must show respect and represent my family, so I must go for at least a little while. Maybe it won't be so bad.

Hope everyone down in California/Nevada/Arizona is staying safe from the horrible weather. Actually I love storms.....wind, thunder, lightning, tornados, everything. So for me it would be exciting. But I know for most, it's kind of scary. Take care everyone.

Oooh, the teacups are my all time favorite ride. I used to like rollercoaster type rides, but now they are a bit much for me. I'll do them if I have to, but not my first choice. I guess basically I'm a kiddie ride kind of girl (except Dumbo - scared of heights )

I can take the heights most of the time. It's the going around and around in circles that start to get to me. Same with Mulholland, it's the whipping around the corners. I used to like it until last year. All of the sudden it was torture, and I couldn't wait for the darn ride to end.

Sounds like us when it snows. Just calling for a couple of inches and stores are mobbed for bread and milk, lol. Schools close and work usually opens a couple of hours late. Thank heaven when we got our 18" last year it started late on the 23rd and we were off of work for the holidays, no going out for this little lady. DH was my snow driver, shovel snow person. DD's boyfriend tried to do some shoveling but it just wasn't the same, lol. That's what happens when you marry a man that is very particular in the way things are done and you don't even realize it until he isn't there to do it anymore. I just know he was up there shaking his head, lol.

I'm so sorry, and understand that is such a hard decision to make Hugs!!! It's times like this I wish I won the lottery and could fly everybody in and make the magic happen for everybody! Kallie spent 15 minutes under her desk during it and thought it was an earthquake. They didn't tell them until after it had passed, what it was for (good thing, cuz she is a worrier and emotional when she's scared)

Glad everything is going well so far. The news has really been talking about the weather going on there. In December east coast had all the weather going on and now its the west coast. Have a great day.

Capri, what is up with you and the PG dreams? Are you doing some soul searching about having a third child? I would be freaked out for sure. Oh, and congrats on the completion of the class. We are so proud of you!

Shirley, I can't wait to meet you and experience some rides. And chit chat. My DH has pretty much zero physical strength these days and you don't realize how much they do until you have to do it all yourself. Things like taking out the garbage cans...and bringing them up. Carrying all the groceries in yourself. Running errards alone. Not to complain, but it does affect everyday life.

It just started raining here again. I don't look forward to driving home. Mel, I hope Lake Brinkman doesn't have any fish in it! Everyone stay safe and dry.

I am uberly (if that is even a word, if not it is now) exhausted from homework & working!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS TRIP!!!!!!

UGH...I was trying to study for my lab test & some moron girl decided that she needs to come in the room, ask me a zillion questions, eat her sandwhich SO LOUD I think the entire building could hear! Then she kept getting in her grocery bag and taking things out, clearing her throat, click clacking on her laptop, and did I mention chew, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew.............Oh and she breathes so LOUD!!! It was so annoying and distracting!! I left. She was like I am sorry, well then you should have left the dang room and gone to the dang math lab.

I understand what you are saying about the physical strength. My DH hated it because he couldn't drive. He hated anyone else driving, no matter how careful you drove. Every vacation we ever took he drove, including our 12 hour drives to Disney World, I offered but no way. So taking him anywhere was just a treat because we couldn't do it right (I will give that dd can drive a little fast and he drives right on the speed limit).

I can totally understand how you are feeling.

I can do the gondolas, don't prefer to do MM, and the Maliboomer NO WAY! The only ride where I truly feel like I'm going to die!! Teacups are easy, peasy!!

I cannot stand loud breathers!! When I was on jury duty one of the defense attny's was a loud breather. I could not help but laugh inside when he would get up to the podium.. The loud breathing thing was over the top. All I could think of was Darth Vader... That was my secret nickname for him DV

Oh and another thing that irks me are gum smackers... I am a reformed gum smacker.. It's a very hard habit to break...Now cannot stand to hear someone wack away at their bubble gum..
