And maybe throw in a Chicken enchilada and a ground beef chimichanga for good measure! Don't forget the sour cream and guacamole! Oh and the chips!
Umm...yeah, I had that a couple of days ago....:sad2:

YUM! I thought we were trying to lose weight!!

I just made my reservation for the shuttle to the airport on Monday, March 1. My flight leaves at 3:20, but I put in 4pm on Super Shuttle and my pick up will be 1:40-1:55pm from Hojo's. Anyone joining me??

Maybe I should call back and put in a special request, can I do that? Another question, we are going to go to the beach for 1 day, do you know if we can we go to Vero Beach DVC and do that?

I don't think DVC allows "day use" like some other timeshares do.

It's never too early for Margaritas!!

And thanks for the advice on calling DVC MS for our dining reservations. Did it today and got everything we want. Now hopefully, nothing happens where I have to change them. It's probably pretty hard to get reservations for 15 as the trip gets closer!! We're going to the German Biergarten, Mama Melrose for lunch/dinner & Fantasmic, Ohana for dinner and Crystal Palace for breakfast.

Happy Birthday Stacie!!! When we went to WDW in November, we ended up eating twice at the Biergarten. I had made reservations at Chefs le France, and my DH wasn't feeling the French love, so we switched to Biergarten. My 3 attempts at making the perfect potato leek soup was after eating the soup at the Biergarten. Oh, and the BEER was good!!!!

Whatever could you mean my dear Cheryl? Okay,so I immediately started giggling, I did. You caught me.

Very rainy today. We just got back from Baja Fresh Bean and Cheese burritos, but no margaritas!!!

How is everyone? I have two more days of work before I am off again!!!

Hey, trying to see the glass as half full.

Well, I didn't have all of that, but I did have a chimichanga with guacamole and lots of chips. And I had Diet Coke instead of beer or a margarita. Still though...it isn't helping me with that last 10 pounds.

Yum! Sorry to hear about the last 10 lbs...I hear they are the hardest...I am having a hard enough time with the current 10 lbs! The more I work out the harder it is for me to lose weight...what is up with that! Oh well.

I am working a double today and only have an hour and 20 minutes left. I have already read 1 book today and am about to start the next one.

Now I want a glass of wine, thanks Mel.

Kaeleb & I ended up at Inca's. We shared taco's al cabon. I had the meat of 1 taco & half a corn tortilla & the salad stuff that comes with it. Kaeleb ate the rice & beans and the other 2 taco's. Oh and I had water.

But I really wanted it all to myself, the rice & beans & chips & salsa & sour cream & guacamole. But I was good.

But after Saturday night, I am laying low from the alcohol for a while!

Good morning girls!

Happy Birthday Stacielee!!!!!!! :yay:

Maybe 5 or 7 drawers? Big Lots is right next door to my work so I’m going to head there after work. If they don’t have them (Big Lots is unpredictable like that), then to Wal-Mart it is!

Have a good drive and a great time at DLR. Please be safe getting over there, people drive even more dumb when it’s raining.

Surprisingly even though we left late, almost 7am, there was no traffic!

I bet Cristabel was practically rained out today. Hope she gets home safely!

I had other things to say.....Oh well. :upsidedow

It sounds like she probably was - the parks are closing early due to the rain. Sorry for y'all, but we had a really nice day here for a change!

Oh man, it's been such a day!

Here's my TR so I don't "spam" the thread.

I'm sorry girls, with the way today went I was unable to ask about the reservations at Billy Hill & the Hillbillies. I'll be going again soon enough, probably next week, so I'll be sure to ask!

Good morning and Happy (wet) Tuesday to everyone!

WHEW it is one wet and windy day outside! EEK!!!

We are in for a long yucky week that's for sure! I HATE going out in weather like this. You would THINK I would be used to it from living in Washington for 3 years but that was over a decade ago and I am back to being spoiled by CA weather LOL.

Yesterday we went and saw Avatar and braved the crappy weathr but it was SO worth it. They opened some new theaters by us and that whole area is REALLY nice. DEF want to go back there in the spring or summer when it isn't so yucky. It is a REALLY nice new shopping area and theater!!

LOVED Avatar. We saw the 3D version and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. LOVED all the colors and all the plants etc on the planet! I def recommend it to anyone on the fence! :)

After that we just came home and holed up again. :)

Shane hooked up the wii fit and just like those of you who have one said uh YEAH! Don't like the "oh" that the broad says and she said I had a wii age of 69 LOL. I think part of the problem was in the exercises that they make you do to test your posture and balance I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do. But I am anxious to try some of the workouts. I just got it all set up with my height and weight etc yesterday so it def seems like it might be fun. Something different and to trade off from my tapes once in awhile! :)

Anyway I was supposed to meet mom today because we need to go to the phone store but I think I am going to hold off and go tomorrow when I go in to work. I don't feel like going out in this nasty weather 2 days in a row and they are predicting it is supposed to be like this all week. BLEH!

Tonight we have basketball which stinks cuz again I don't really want to go out in this weather but so be it. Life must go on. It's not just the rain it is blowing so hard it is shaking the house but must be done.

Anyway Stacie I hope you had a GREAT birthday and sounds like you are enjoying making all your DW plans! I LOVE all those restaurants. Been to Biergarten I think every time we have gone and LOVE that place. In fact that is where we had Thanksgiving last time. I just wish mom could figure out if we are going to be able to go in Oct so we can make our plans but that is pretty much how it goes. Won't know till the last minute.

Anyway that's bout it for me. Hope everyone stays safe in this nasty weather and can have a good day!!

Good morning!

Ah, speaking of TR's, I abandoned mine. I need to finish it.

Good for you, Deb! You have good will power. Tacos sound wonderful for breakfast right now.

More rain today. Yesterday at work our windows were leaking, and the window sills are made of wood, so it STUNK in our office. Like rotten, gross, wet wood.

Oh and I found my plastic drawer thingy at Big Lots, Cristabel. It was regular $20 and on sale for $18 (I didn't know Big Lots had sales, I thought the whole store was one big sale. It has 5 drawers in it.

Every time we have eaten at Ohana, the music was piped in and the lights were dimmed for the fireworks. When we get there we request to sit at the windows. Never has been an issue.
OOh.I loved Ohanas's. The bread pudding was to die for. Yum!

It sounds like she probably was - the parks are closing early due to the rain. Sorry for y'all, but we had a really nice day here for a change!
Well you deserve a nice day without rain. :goodvibes Us Californians need it in the worse way.

I want a strawberry margarita, please.
Me too! Although it is quite early for that right now.

Make that two...blended please! And maybe throw in a Chicken enchilada and a ground beef chimichanga for good measure! Don't forget the sour cream and guacamole! Oh and the chips!

He He He
Yum!! That even sounds good for breakfast!

Okay, okay, I am holding it in here Cheryl, really trying to behave. Muhahahahahahahah!!!!
LOL!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

But after Saturday night, I am laying low from the alcohol for a while!
Hm? Did you have a bad next day?

Surprisingly even though we left late, almost 7am, there was no traffic!

I read it first thing this morning. What a day!:)

Anyway that's bout it for me. Hope everyone stays safe in this nasty weather and can have a good day!!
You too Kelly.:goodvibes

Hey Courtney, As much as you love make up, have you ever thought about doing that for a living? I mean working for MAC, Urban Decay, Laura Mercier or, something like that? Doing make for weddings, dances or other special occasions. How about Sephora? I love to get make overs! They're fun!

Good morning ladies! :cool1:

Spent all weekend doing final papers for my RDG/530 class. Everything was due yesterday, and I'm happy to report that I got it all done and turned in! :cheer2:

I think I did well in this class. Not that I didn't do well in my previous classes, but this time I have that 'feeling' that I did well. You'd think that I would be all relaxed because I got everything turned in and I now have a week off before my next class begins, but I'm nervous for some reason.....I'm paranoid that I forgot to do something or turn something in because there was just SO many assignments and requirements, but I've looked over the syllabus again and again (which is as thick as a book) and I seem to have done it all.

Hope everyone is doing well, and for all those living in California, stay dry and safe. It sounds awful down there. :grouphug:

Good morning ladies. :)

Back to work/school for many of us and our families. Hope you all had a good weekend, even if it was a bit soggy for some of you.

Well, I have sort of been dreading saying this, but doesn't seem to be much point in delaying it any longer. I won't be coming on the trip next month.

Everything is fine, just you know.......life getting in the way of what I want to do and forcing me to do what I should do. It's my fault really. I should've done a budget sooner. I guess I thought since I had a cheap ride there, and an annual pass that this would be a cheap trip. But I now see that the words cheap and Disney can never be put together in the same sentence.

Anyway, I've been putting Hannah and Noelle's braces off for far too long, so it's time to get started on that. The good news is both girls are fairly eager to get the long process started. Well, for now, until they find out what all is involved. lol

Also this June I am really hoping to take a trip back to California for Ruben to see his family, friends and old co-workers. It's been almost a year and a half since we were last in CA. due to the transportation issues. We've planned multiple trips, such as the one for my birthday last October, and in the end I've always canceled them due to the high cost of renting a mini van.

This time however I am determined our family go no matter what so I'll need to save money for that. We won't be doing any theme parks or anything. June will strictly be a time to visit with family and friends, but as you all know there are always expenses involved anytime you go anywhere.

Ruben is really pushing me to go on the DL trip, saying not to worry about it, but he's generous to a fault and I really don't think it's fair for me to spend our money for a Disney trip, and then possibly not have enough for him to get back home to see family and such. So I'm not listening to him. :rolleyes1

Anyway, that's basically where I'm at now. I had to make a choice and I made it. It wasn't easy for sure. Wanting to go, but knowing it probably wasn't the smart thing to do. I've been waffling back and forth for a while as some of you know. I had contacted only a few people just in case I didn't make it, and needed coverage for meals and such.
I will miss all of you. Miss seeing my friends and meeting new ones. But I know you will all have a great time. Take lots of pics!!! Say hi to Chip and Dale for me. ;)

I look forward to seeing those of you coming to Vegas in June. :yay: Makes it a little easier to deal with knowing I'll have that time to look forward to.
Linda and Cheryl, I am glad I got to see you over Thanksgiving as well.
Theresa, Donna and Vicki, I am really glad for our chance to visit just recently.
And if anyone is in the Vegas area, please give me a holler. Maybe we can meet for a meal or something. That would be nice. :)

Thanks for listening ladies. Sorry for droning on like that, but I just wanted to let everyone know.

TTYL!!

Beth

Hey Mel! :goodvibes I’ve seriously thought about it. I still am actually. There is a beauty school near me, but it’s really expensive. Almost $3000 for a 10 week class. You do get your license, but that’s a lot especially for me right now when I need to be going to real college college and not beauty school. I think later in life (after I have a degree), I want to get my license. That way it won’t be such a big deal and I can do it on the side. I would just LOVE to do that though. I wonder if at Sephora you need to have your makeup license? I don’t think so? I should look into it. I would love to work there. But the closest to me is about 25 minutes maybe.

Good morning ladies! :cool1:

Woohoo! You ROCK Capri!

Well, I have sort of been dreading saying this, but doesn't seem to be much point in delaying it any longer. I won't be coming on the trip next month.

Oh Beth. I’m really sad. :sad1: I hope you can figure something out and maybe possibly come.

I know that was a tough decision for you Beth. I hope it all works out the way you hope. Will you still be managing the thread or is someone taking over for you? Take care.

I just wanted to add that I'm really sad also, but getting numb to all the folks dropping out at the last minute. ;) It's just sad to me that we've planned this for almost a year, and looked forward, and then life gets in the way. I have a feeling we'll be losing more before it's all said and done. :guilty:

Hugs Beth, I had a great time with you last year, and thank you for your friendship.
