For the pillow case.... is everybody buying them made already or making/decorating them yourselves? Is there a special logo or decorating theme for the meet/greet? Kohl's had a bunch of 1/2 off bedding including pillow cases.

Also, is the lanyard the main graphic for this trip?

For the pillowcase, you can do either. If you are crafty, feel free to buy a plain one and bling it out so to speak.
OR for those who'd rather have a root canal than do anything artsy, you can buy a pretty/fancy one already made.
No set theme or logo. Skies the limit so feel free to have fun with it, whether you make it or buy it.

Yes, the lanyard's pirate princess pink skull is pretty much the theme we are going with this year for the trip. Other than the Meet and Greet which is just a slumber party theme.

I know! I wonder why WDW has their hours so early, but DL it's like only the month ahead.

Those of you who are signed up for the Meet and Greet, please bring along candy to contribute to the candy buffet.
Each person needs to bring enough candy to share with the group, approximately 40 ladies. (If you are new this year, there are pictures of last year's candy buffet on the front page.)

It's a lot of fun, and a nice treat to take home. Once you have decided what to bring, please send a PM to Cristabel (disney-inspired) letting her know your candy selection. This will help to insure we don't end up with 5 bags of lollipops.

P.S. If anyone is ordering their candy online and then flying in, feel free to have the candy delivered to my address. I am driving in and can bring more items than those flying.​

We had a great day in Pasadena and a super nice lunch with Donna & her DH. I got lost for an hour trying to find the restaurant and kinda took it out on her because a) I hate to drive but had to cause DH was too tired, b) I have no patience and c) I was starving. So, I am sorry Donna, but I know you forgive me because you gave me a big hug!

Aw, sweetie, of course! I totally understood (see my email to you) and was just glad we finally got the guys together. Your Dh is such a great guy and an inspiration, as well as being very funny. And always enjoy seeing Bree. DH enjoyed meeting you all too!

I' I think the easy thing about starting a diet in the New Year is everyone is so sick of rich food by then, it's a bit nice to actually eat a salad

I thought I'd ask if anyone has any extra Disney Movie Rewards codes that they are not using? I know not everyone does it, and if you have any new codes, I'd love to take them off your hands. Please PM me if you have some. I don't know what I'm saving up for, but it will be something fabulous in the end I'm sure.

Yesterday we hit both of the outlet malls and while I didn't find too much, the Disney Store had some amazing deals and I brought home a bagful of stuff for $10 including a new pair of swimtrunks for Ty and a few goodies for my pillowcase exchange. It's sad, but I have all the extras in place now, but I still don't have a clue on the pillowcase itself!

Jane, I bought something great that's Disney and any diva will love. Last year I spent the whole budget on the tote and put nothing inside. This year I'm doing the opposite - the inside is the nice gift and the pillowcase is just a holder.

Jill, see my message to Jane above. It is really up to you how to interpret the exchange. Last year it was a tote exchange. Some people made totes themselves (the really crafty ones), others bought them, some bought inexpensive ones and filled them with goodies. I was torn - if I spent most of the budget on a tote, then there wouldn't be much left to put inside. I went shopping and opted for a really nice tote with a zipper in a super cute design and nothing inside.

This time, I personally prefer to surprise someone with a terrific gift that they can use inside a basic case (kinda practical that way).

The fun thing is that there will be lots of variations, so you never know what you're getting.

Beth, just wondering... how do we reconcile the candy exchange buffet with the wish thread? I would like to request that due to flus and viruses that the candy be individually wrapped please! Would like to keep everyone healthy for the entire trip and home.

I agree, things should be wrapped if possible. Or bagged. They are easier to store that way too since it will be taken back to the room and back home.

I am so looking forward to seeing those who can make it this Thursday at 7pm at hearthstone lounge in Grand California for cupcakes and Magicale. According to my not so scientific estimates, I'm thinking about five or six divas are going to try to
make it. I'll buy extra cupcakes just in case

I allow myself one little piece of dark chocolate a day. Deprivation doesn't work for me!!

Speaking of rooms, Heather and I were talking last night and she's leaving on Sunday, can't remember when Callie and Katie are leaving, but I'm not leaving until Monday. Who else is not leaving until Monday (or Tuesday), but their roomies are leaving Sunday? Maybe we could consolidate rooms to give us a lower cost.

Another thing, I know some of us are arriving at the same time and may use the Disneyland Express, but there also has to be 5 of us leaving at the same time. I'm not sure if that will work... I have me, Heather, Becci, and Deb all arriving on Thursday around 10:30-11:30am. But Heather is leaving on Sunday, I'm leaving sometime Monday afternoon...

Today my "baby", Ethan, turns FOUR!! I can't believe that my youngest is already 4. Where does the time go? I took cupcakes to his preschool this morning and we will probably have pizza for dinner since that is his absolute favorite!!

It was me but they were buttons. I had someone on the DISign Boards design the logo/picture of Peter Pan with our Team name around it and I bought the big round buttons from Michaels.
