Does anyone recall the names used last year? I didn't do the SH last year so I'd love to hear some names.

Last year Amy, Kerry, Heather (fairycat) and I were the Monkey Brides.

Mom, myself, Mary Jo and our 4th person to remain nameless were the Pixie Chicks!

I have consulted with mom and Mary Jo and my aunt is good with whatever and we have decided on a name! (Courtney I don't know how to get a hold of your mom but you can pm me and I will let you know what we came up with, hopefully she is ok with with we picked, I think she will be )

So no one answered my question, are the names going to be kept secret till the hunt or are we going to tell them and post them on the front page? No biggie just curious so that no one has a duplicate name.

I am so excited!

I have also consulted with mom about the candy and pillow case exchange so we are working on those! We will be taking to barb in the next few days to figure out what she wants to do on those as well.

Sooo excited!!

Happy New Years ladies! I'm poking my head up for some air here. Just so tired from all the holiday travels and visits. I am so looking forward to seeing those who can make it this Thursday at 7pm at hearthstone lounge in Grand California for cupcakes and Magicale. According to my not so scientific estimates, I'm thinking about five or six divas are going to try to
make it. I'll buy extra cupcakes just in case

hope you are all super well and feeling much less tired, stressed and puffythan me.

Hi Jen - If you pop back in before Thurs. I think I can get out of the evening work event since I just found out it is really just a social event. I'll put in my time during the day and then I am almost positive I can make it to your BD celebration. So please count me in!

For the pillowcase, you can do either. If you are crafty, feel free to buy a plain one and bling it out so to speak.
OR for those who'd rather have a root canal than do anything artsy, you can buy a pretty/fancy one already made.
No set theme or logo. Skies the limit so feel free to have fun with it, whether you make it or buy it.

Yes, the lanyard's pirate princess pink skull is pretty much the theme we are going with this year for the trip. Other than the Meet and Greet which is just a slumber party theme.

Jane, I bought something great that's Disney and any diva will love. Last year I spent the whole budget on the tote and put nothing inside. This year I'm doing the opposite - the inside is the nice gift and the pillowcase is just a holder.



Jill, see my message to Jane above. It is really up to you how to interpret the exchange. Last year it was a tote exchange. Some people made totes themselves (the really crafty ones), others bought them, some bought inexpensive ones and filled them with goodies. I was torn - if I spent most of the budget on a tote, then there wouldn't be much left to put inside. I went shopping and opted for a really nice tote with a zipper in a super cute design and nothing inside.

This time, I personally prefer to surprise someone with a terrific gift that they can use inside a basic case (kinda practical that way).

The fun thing is that there will be lots of variations, so you never know what you're getting.

Beth, just wondering... how do we reconcile the candy exchange buffet with the wish thread? I would like to request that due to flus and viruses that the candy be individually wrapped please! Would like to keep everyone healthy for the entire trip and home.

Thanks! I remember the tote exchange was amazing ( I watched but did not bring one that year). I have a few idea's running thru my head.

Well I am counting down for the trip. Its crazy around here. I am trying to plan Katie's sweet sixteen and get the kids to wrestling and cheer practice along with working. I have my idea for my pillowcase just need to get the case. I am going to be sooooo sick of hot pink and zebra stripes and if I don't see it again after Feb 13th it won't break my heart!

It was Stacierita w/ a Churro but Stacielee, Zoemakes5, and I were running down the street at the same time back from Frontierland to get a better answer than our original. I had a great time on the scavenger hunt and am looking forward to it again this year. Is it time for our trip, yet????

I am exhausted. Today was our 'back in the saddle' day, where we do all of our annual training, attend commanders' calls, and this year for a special treat (insert lots of sarcasm) we ended the day with a 3 mile run. Which makes me want to ask, is it Friday??? I'm ready for the week to be over already.

Okay, time for me to go back and read what I've missed today. I thought about it this morning and I need a job (or no job...) that allows me to stay home and yet get paid. I enjoy staying in my jammies, playing games with the kids (a lot more than I'm able to normally), and cleaning my house early in the day as opposed to finding myself staying up to late to do housework. Okay vent/whine over.

D, the movie rewards codes are the ones inside Disney movies. They are around 10 characters long, and give you points to get stuff on their website. There is a paper inside the cover with the code on it.

I had to work today, but it was a good day. I'm tired now, but have two days off.

Relief! The boys are in bed, and DH's game just finished. I can now enjoy some peace and quiet. The noise of football games on the tv all the time gets to me after a while....
