I still have never seen Billy and the Hillbillies. I think I should really make an effort to see it this time.

And I may want to see Aladdin one more time (I've only seen it once). It will be the last time for me to see it before they change the show to Toy Story the Musical. Hmmmmm, a Toy Story Muscial?......not sure what I think of this, but okay, I'll go with it.

Thanks Tina. Yes I DO plan on getting my own lawyer. I actually HAD an apt but then when I tought we were going to work on things I cancelled it. But then he told me he was going forward with filing so now I have to meet with one again. I am just waiting for "whoever" serve me the papers so I can show them to the lawyer. Plus I am going to wait till mom gets home so she can go with me. This whole thing is just stupid if you ask me. There is NO reason for it to get to this level. We had agreed to work on things and then he has to take it to this level. It is just stupid and I told him that. I said WHY are you acting this way. I thought we agreed we were going to try and get along for the girls sake and now you are listening to EVERYONE but ME! If you want to let OTHER people screw up OUR relationship then go ahead.

Anyway I am just going to the game today and the girls and I ARE going to the movie after the game and HOPEFULLY nothing ruins it today and we can salvage the day!

Thanks ladies! I was thinking maybe drinks on Thursday evening? My family and my god daughter will be there, so I will be busy during the days, but I can get the evenings free. I don't know how far it is for you all to get there, so if it's a big hassle, no worries. But if you do manage to get there I will be you a cocktail! Since DCA closes early that night, I was thinking Jazz Kitchen or Hearthstone?

All my cards went out today!! I have so enjoyed receiving the cards. My kids loved seeing the one from you Jen. It was fun telling them that was the REAL Matterhorn in the background!

Good morning girls!

Last night my dad, mom, DBF, and I went to dinner and came back to the house to have cake for my Dad's birthday. I wasn't feel too good, so I went to bed around 10 and I didn't wake up this morning until 10:30! Yikes.

Later today Jesus and I and some friends are going to the LA Auto show at the convention center. It's raining outside so I hope it's not raining too hard when we drive down there.

Katie - Congrats to your son!! DBF's little brother has a CIF ring from a couple years ago and that mamma jamma is huge! I'm going to ask him what teams played last night on Fox Sports, he probably watched it.

MJ - Lucky girl!! Have fun!!

Deb - Have fun shopping. I'm starting my Christmas shopping next week.

Okay, I'm off to shower and start getting ready. I have no idea what time we're leaving and it's driving me crazy. I need to have times set and we have to wait for our friend to get off work and he's not sure what exact time and ugghh. This is insane.

I think he is using & abusing his power and playing you every chance he gets. Knowledge is power. Your right, it is important to work things out for the kids sake...but not to the point of your own health (mental or physical!) Surround yourself with supportive family & friends Hugs!

Due to the rain, I got today off Took Kallie to cheer and trying to check things off my never ending lists. I'd love to finish our outdoor decorations, but its still raining on and off. Parker is currently hooked up to an ambulatory EEG. We've always had to have them done in the hospital for 2-3 days. This is great being able to have at home and he's doing well with it all.
I had a very interesting surprise yesterday. I've been watching the "gold selling" thread on the budget boards for many months, but never actually sent anything in. Last week at a girls ornament exchange, we did a gold party at the same time because one of our friends had started doing these parties a few months ago. So I grabbed the box of things I had pondered selling online and took them with me. I totally trust my friend so figured it was the perfect time to check it out. Well, she tested & sorted out my stuff and quoted me getting $1070.00 for it all. I was excited but told her I wanted to check the online company too. So I went home that night and typed in all my numbers on their website and discovered I would get around $2400.00 thru them... WOW. So I shipped it off Fedex on Tuesday and talked to them yesterday and they are sending me a check for 2100.00 (2 of the items did not test as gold, which they had at the party...interestingly) I could have done paypal but they would have taken 2% of it. So for anybody interested in selling unwanted or used gold...I can vouch that this company is legit, just as everybody on the gold thread have said. The reason the gold party would have paid less, is for their own commision and "hostess" bonus program. I am thrilled!!

I hope everybody has a great weekend!! Why does December have to fly by so quickly???

It's 4pm and I'm all dressed and ready to go.. no where.

Our friend is still at work and it's getting late and I'm annoyed. The auto show closes at 9, but it takes us an hour to get there... I'm not sure if we're still going to go. I feel bad for DBF because he really wanted to go and he suggested him and I just go tomorrow but I'm going to my grandparents with my Mom and Dad for my Dad's birthday. I don't think my Mom is going to let me get out of that.

Last night we were talking to our friend and he said him and his gf wouldn't be able to go because he had to work in the morning, so we suggested we can all go in the afternoon when he got out of work and he said that was good. So we waited for him to get out of work today and he's still not done yet. If we just just would have gone us 2 in the morning, we would have been on our way home by now

I think I just want to take a nap, but now that I'm all dressed up with makeup, I'm annoyed!

It's raining over here and it's very cold!

My mom found out she has a spine compressed fracture. There is a simple non-evasive procedure where they would drill a hold in her spine, blow up a balloon to make space and fill in the space with vertebroplasty. A bone concrete of sorts. She and my dad still have to talk about that and other options but the good news is that it won't prevent her from going on her Spain trip in January. They have given her lidocaine patches that my dad has to put on her back.

If it's not one thing it's another with my mom. She has had so many things happen to her after she hit 40 and she keeps saying "It's true! You do fall apart after you hit 40!"

Did you guys end up getting the other doggie? I don't remember seeing a thread about that. If so I hope it all works out!

Katie congrats to your son and good luck on getting his ring. I am praying for you that your struggles get better! I know you are going through a really tough time right now as well!

Beth happy birthday to your son and I hope you guys had a blast! I mailed Katy's invites out. After everything that happened I wasn't sure if I was still going to be able to give her her party because I certainly can't pay for it by myself now and everything is so up in the air but Shane assured me he would pay for it and I know worse case scenario my mom would help me out if things change again between now and then so I am really hoping for her sake it all works out. She is SO excited. We went yesterday and bought a bunch of new moon cups, plates, napkins etc for the pizza place and I spoke with a few of the mom's at the game and they confirmed they are coming so I really hope it goes well for her. I always get nervous when I throw parties, esp her's being so close to the holidays, that people won't come or things will get messed up.

Anyway after everything that happened on Fri Shane and I talked and I was thoroughly disgusted but I guess he thought about it and realized that he was wrong and apologized. He had to work yesterday and asked if we would come meet him for lunch which we did and then I took the girls to their game and Katy did AWESOME. Their team won 7-1 and then he showed up for the last few minutes. Then we came home and got cleaned up and went to the movie. This is an AMAZING film. I will be honest I am not a huge jazz fan and although I thought it would be cute it didn't look like a movie that would be one of my favs. I am not a big fan of movies like the aristocats or even 101 dalmations. I def have my favs and then I just "like" the rest. Well I was really shocked. The colors and animation were AMAZING and the story was great! The music was great and it was just a REALLY good film. I HIGHLY recommend it and think that even if you don't have kids you will LOVE this movie! It is beautifully made and VERY sweet! Anyway then we went and grabbed some dinner and came home. Katy received a cookbook yesterday from a dear friend and she just CAN'T put it down!!! So we sat there and looked through it together and she was telling me all the things she can't wait to make. She is just SO excited! Another reason this movie was so special because Tiana loves to cook and wants to open her own restaurant!!

Anyway things are just really weird to me because I told Shane I just really don't know HOW to feel. I am trying to make this work but my emotions are all over the board and this so called arrangement we have is just weird. We haven't got it all worked out yet and then when you add miscommunications and misunderstandings it doesn't help. I am still not thrilled that since we are trying to work this through that we have to go through this whole legal mess but I AM glad that I am going to get a chance to talk to a lawyer and find out what MY rights are. I am just really confused and dumb founded about the whole situation and want some normalcy. My parents come home SOME time today but I am not sure when. My mom didn't even call at all yesterday. It is REALLY hard to get a hold of her down there and she has usually only called like once a day and yesterday was the first day she didn't call at all. So hopefully she calls today although we are going to church and then to the gingerbread project. SOOO I am not sure I will be able to talk to her.

Then I don't know WHAT is going on with Lynn. She has been staying with a friend this whole week and I wanted to go to my mom's tomorrow to talk to them before work but I don't know if she will be there or not. I don't know IF or WHEN she is coming back. It is a LONG story but I don't want to get into THAT. But the point is I would LIKE to be able to talk to my parents without "ears" listening to my conversation. So we shall see.

Anyway hope everyone has a good day and rest of your weekend! I think my day should be pretty good. It is still raining here like cats and dogs! This thing we do at church though is SUPER fun though so I am really looking forward to it!

Yesterday was a VERY lazy day for us. We were in our PJ's until after lunch
We decorated our tree, (finally). We baked cookies and did a quick Costco trip. Overall a perfect ugly rainy day.

Last night we got another Wii game. The lego Indiana Jones one. OMG it's so frustrating to me!!! I'm not a big video game person anyway but man this thing is hard. I'm not sure if I mentioned that we returned some stuff we got on black friday and got Ayden a wii, ok the whole family a wii for CHristmas. Ayden is going to FLIP OUT! Wal Mart though was having a promotion going on where you got a $50 gift card if you bought the wii. So that paid for just another controller for us. Done deal! Chris and I have bee playing it at night after Ayden goes to bed. FUN stuff...but gosh that game is tough. Anyone have any good reccomendations on family wii games they like? I want to try a Mario one but gosh there are so many to choose from. I aslo want to try Toy Story.

As you may or may not remember we got one recently and we got Mario kart which the girls LOVE and Toy Story which I like but we actually haven't played it much after the beginning and we have Family game night which is a lot of fun plus a few others. I bought one called Rabbids but it is pretty hard and not necessarily for kids. The one the kids like the best I think is Mario and family game night. Enjoy it, it is addicting!

Hey girls. We went to the Auto Show last night, it took us 2 hours to get there! It was raining cats and dogs and there was traffic. And we got lost in Downtown LA. It was nuts. Overall we had a good time, we went to dinner at Buca de Peppo and that was fun. We had a good time!

Today I was lazy all day. I think going out last night didn't help me trying to get better. I felt miserable this morning. My parents went to lunch at my grandparents for my Dad's birthday, but I didn't go because I wasn't feeling too well.

Now I'm just laying here with my dog watching cartoons.
