Girls Only Trip ~ OLD Thread, see link in first post for new one

Hey ladies, we're here at the Hojo about to go get dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. We're in building 2 and it's very quiet!

We went to DL for a couple hours and there was no lines for anything, it was fantastic. The longest wait time was 40 minutes for Autopia, everything after that was 20 minutes for Nemo.

I just skimmed through the pages a bit and wanted to give Callie hugs for her loss, ask Beth if her booty is okay from falling (ouch!), tell Janelle she never offended me, and that those Zhu Zhu pets are crazy looking.

I heart you girls and will try to write manana!

Actually the Zhu Zhu's are kinda cute in real life but you are right I would NEVER pay what they are asking for them. I am just glad I happened upon them for their actual price. My kids REALLY wanted them though so it is all about them actually and not what I think obviously LOL. Every year it's something. Let's see there was the beanie babies, tickle me elmo, cabbage patch dolls. It's always something right?

Janelle I know we talked about this already but I wouldn't even sweat it. You know my feelings on the matter!! I think you are all good and you did NOTHING wrong!! This mystery person obviously has some "issues" because like I said there is nothing for you to fix because you didn't DO anything. If they are offended because you just shared about your life then THEY have the problem not you!! ((hugs))

Courtney I am so glad you are having fun! Keep us updated. We are all jealous!!

Deb I totally agree about those stupid PTC fundraisers. We do those santa shop deals too and they are all junk! We also do the wrapping paper one. I don't even participate in those because both are really lame. Between girl scouts, soccer and swim team it is practically impossible to get my friends and relatives to shell out any more dough as it is. I just wish they could come up with ONE decent fund raiser and not all these hokey ones! That was good of you to help out! You are a good mom!

Well we just got done watching night at the museum and I am tired. I am going to hit the sack. See you ladies in the morning!

If I feel up to it later tonight, I'm going to run out to the store to pick up a few groceries including stuff to make Christmas sugar cookies. Frosting, sprinkles, cookie cutters, different colors of tubed icing, the works.

I soooo wish we lived closer!! How fun would it be to have a Christmas cookie exchange and decorating party. Put out some appetizers, drinks, play some Christmas music, and just chat while decorating cookies.

Dang. Why can't we all live closer!!

Also Divas--I heard from Sally and there were about 250 people at Dawn's memorial this morning--standing room only. She said that the person who did the service took a lot of quotes from Facebook to share. I am going to call her tomorrow--she and her husband were just exhausted and going to bed as soon as they got home.

I'm not at all surprised that so many people showed up for Dawn.

Hi everyone, hope all is well.

Had court today, he didn't show so now there's a warrant out for his arrest with no bail. If arrested he would be in for a minimum of 20 days. Go figure. I know he just forgot, as he always does. If I don't remind him constantly about stuff he forgets.

Anyway, I"m fine with it, it doesn't solve anything for me and now my concern is it happening if he has Ayden with him.

Also, I wasn't going to mention this here, but it's been eating at me. If I have ever offended anyone here, I apologize. I received a PM that was really upsetting and sounds like some may have been offended by comments I made about CHris being out of work and such. Please know that was never my intent and I'm sorry if anyone was offended by anything I said.

Hi Ladies!
There is a very small chance that I may be able to come at least for Thursday Night.

Hubby and I like to go to Vegas and we have been itchin to get back since they send us a free room offer practically every single day. So...we just booked Wed. Feb 24th to Sat Feb 28th.

I was thinkin...maybe I could catch a ride out to Anaheim with the Vegas gals, and then I could get a rental car back on Friday. So, I looked, and I can get a rental car back for $27.00!

All I need is a ride and a place to crash. Any old spot will do! May not even go into the parks, unless I manage to do my day of volunteer work and get a free ticket, but hey, a slumber party alone is well worth it to me!

So how about it gals?? Anyone have room for me in your car? I travel light, but my butt will require a certain amount of space and there is no gettin around that one

I plan to be there first thing before they open...if you want to share the drive, we could go together. I won't be taking Zoe, because if I get anything, it will be for her, so I don't want to do that. I do have to leave by about 8ish to get back in time for Zoe's game, though.

Michelle, I think I will give this a pass. Claire and I are just as likely to change our minds Saturday AM and sleep in....so would hate to leave you hanging. We also have to get back to San Diego to go to an event church related that runs until 3. But thanx!!!

What time does it start? Mom and I will be staying in the Villas. I could probably meet you--she would still be in bed I'm sure.

AmySue, the others are right, you simply must come for at least a day or two. I don't know if I ever told you but you provided so much comfort to me by just being a friend/vet who understood how profound the loss of my beloved Coco was. I could see it in your eyes, you really could empathize and understood all the doctor talk jargon when I talked about all treatments and ailments she had those last weeks of her life. Thank you so much for that. The trip would not be the same without you.

She's bringing a friend and we are doing dinner (CS) and then just hanging out. Lets run into each other and ditch the youngins. Grab a drink at Cove maybe???

Hello Vanessa, and welcome. Most of us stay at the Hojo,some drive in, and a few this trip I think are going all swanky and staying onsite. There is no requirement.

The cost of the trip is totally up to you, where you stay, what you sign up to do, etc.

I drive up from San Diego, and do one or two meals, haven't done the tours,and spend about 350, your results will vary!!

Aww Thanks! I think since it is being our first trip and we live so close, well just meet you all for everything if thats okay. I don't think we are going to do any of the tours but we would love to do the Scavenger Hunt and the meat and greet. We were also wondering how much the Pirate shirt would be it is so cute.

Hi Vanessa and welcome. Like Amy Sue stated, the price of the trip depends on what you plan to do and where you stay. Most of us stay at the Hojo. I am local, but I still stay at the Hojo with everyone, I do some of the meals and I have done some tours. It doesn't cost me much since I have an AP and don't have to worry about travel costs. The price depends on what you do and eat. At group meals we all pay our own share and the same goes for tours. All the information is on the first page.
