I think I may just need to go open my stocking to feel better, oops did I just say that???

Naughty, naughty.

Sarah, I got your Christmas card today. Thanks! It was postmarked Nov 25, so I'm not sure what type of route it took to get to me. :confused3

Kelly--Your card came a couple of days ago, but I don't remember posting about it. Thank you very much!!!

My cards are almost done, and I'm hoping to get them in the mail this weekend.

I got the call all about this early Thursday morning from Dave while I was in Frisco. I am very very thankful.
Good grief! I'm glad everyone was okay. How scary.

Glad to hear you had fun on your trip! And have fun in DL. :wizard:

It worries us too, and I always imagine the worst.....Ryan not being taken care of, or abused, or who knows. I hope his little brother, Luke, will take care of him when we're gone, but what if something happens to Luke? Then what? It's all so scary and worrisome. :sad2:
 Hugs to you and Becci and everyone else in that situation.

And I'm Team Edward too--but the "book" Edward--Robert Pattinson isn't my idea of Edward.
Agreed. I dislike RP with a passion. And Noelle has him all over her room! :scared:

In fact, it's been so much fun that we will be doing an activity at the Meet and Greet so that we can learn even more about one another... after all it's a slumber party--who can resist a game of truth or dare!
:scared1: Not that I have anything to hide.....

Have fun at Disneyland!!

So I'm home sick and watching too much tv.
Aww, bummer. Feel better soon.

You're sick and you still watch TV??? WOW!! You are a super-woman!! :worship:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

I think I may just need to go open my stocking to feel better, oops did I just say that???
Hey now, did you think I wouldn't see that??? :smooth:

Afternoon, friends! :goodvibes

So I was just at Dollar Tree and looking at their cheapo wreaths and decorations and was thinking to myself, Hey, I could make one of those Mickey wreaths like Trudy. So I started putting it together in my head and gathering up different size wreaths and colored ornaments, and then I pictured myself at home with all this stuff and a glue gun and I could feel my pulse racing and my blood pressure rising, so I put it all back.

I WANT to be crafty, but I know the stress it causes me, so maybe I'll just ask Kendall to make it for me for Christmas. ;)

I'm at HomeConnections right now and am supposed to be working on my monthly status reports for my advisor. I've got them all done except for science, which I totally blew off last month, so I'm trying to come up with something creative (again, not my thing!) to list that would count as "science". It's much easier to come here and type about my lack of creativity. :lmao:

Hope you all have a great Friday and an even better weekend.

Hey now, did you think I wouldn't see that??? :smooth:[/QUOTE]

Man you don't miss nothing do ya! :confused3:rolleyes1

I didn't say anything really I didn't! :littleangel:

Are you going this weekend? Mom and I will be there tonight and tomorrow night.

Yes!! We are coming in tonight and staying the first night at the Orange County Hyatt Regency. Got a super deal at $65.00 a night. It even has its own shuttle. Then early Saturday morning we are transferring to the Paradise Pier until Monday. I would love to try and meet up sometime.

Would you want to try and do lunch at Cafe Orleans or Carnation on Saturday? Or meet up to watch Billy Hill for their Christmas performance?.

On Saturday Kaitlyn's High School Marching Band is performing at some time. Guess we will find out. The HS is only 2 years old, so I wonder how they wil do.:rolleyes1 She is not performing, but will have alot of her friends around. What a zoo!! And this was not even planned. Found out after I had everything reserved. :dance3: Anywhos, it will be Kaitlyn and her friend Jasmyne, my DIL Sarah, my 2 grandsons and I on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon Dave and my son Derrick will be joining us after they get done at the Pomona Swap Meet. Then I am going to try and get good spots for the Candlelight Processional.

And I'm Team Edward too--but the "book" Edward--Robert Pattinson isn't my idea of Edward.

Ooooh......I like Robert Pattinson. His eyes are something else! :cloud9:

Hi Ladies. Just yodeleeheehooing in from der Schweiz. Ich spreche Deutcshe ser guht, ja?

All's going pretty good here. Continuing on with my intensive German classes (2 hours a day) and diligently pursuing my haus frau duties (sounds SO glamourous, no?). Also, frantically trying to land a job with my company. If I don't get something in two weeks, I am terminated, so I'm trying real hard as I do want to be employed and I'm scared if I don't stay with my company it's gonna be real hard to get something here.

Oh, per usual, I can't keep up with the boards, but I do want to say:

Welcome to the new divas!:banana:

Callie: sending lots of wishes your way for you and your mom. So sorry to hear about your grandma.

Capri: I think your DH may be right and you may need a manitude adjustment. Just make sure he takes you out to a nice meal for some wining and dining first. Oh and maybe gifts you some disney bucks for your upcoming trip. You know, you need the full deal to really get you adjusted. And glad to hear that you're taking up running. Oh, I remember the days when I used to run...how quickly I am eroding here. Gone from a half marathon running marketing professional to a chocolate eating haus frau in a couple of months. I'm trying to ward off inertia here, but it does take a lot of work. My brain is turning to oatmeal and my belly to jello. So awfully sad.

And about me...well I'm born and raised in Switzerland and have a couple of st bernard rescue dogs and bell wearing cows. I make chocolate and cheese and enjoy yodeling. My children milk cows and my husband scales mountains. I learned English watching World of Disney as a child. And I'm much too tired and bored right now.

Really, not quite so interesting. Born and raised in San Francisco East Bay. Remet my DH at our 10 year high school reunion and married him three years later, just as soon as he got out of the navy (I'm WAY to high maintenance to be a navy wife). I lived in Mukilteo with him one summer when he was stationed as navy nuke in Everitt. We have been married nine years now. I have two wonderful boys, ages 4 and 6. My hobbies include Disneyland and travel. DH's hobby is applying for jobs. He found and got a nuclear engineering job via Monster.com based in Switzerland this summer and we uprooted ourselves and moved to the lovely town of Birmenstorf in September. We're living outside of Zurich and kids go to an English speaking international school in Baden. We're scheduled to be here two years and then who knows what. I've been to two DL Diva trips and will unfortunately not be able to go in 2010 as I will be in Europe. I am hosting the International Disneyland Diva Paris trip Spring 2011 and started my research last month with my first trip to DLP. I hope you ladies are saving up your Euros!

Later gators.

Echos of high school flashbacks! DO IT! DO IT!! AHHH THE PRESSURE!!

Pssst Beth I see what you mean. That Teresa she is a wiley minx! I bet you in Vegas she is a hell cat! If I went I might need bail money huh?

OK is somebody punking me or what??? I just got another one of those WEIRD blank e-mails! :confused3 What they hey???

Strange, very strange.

Ok ladies....I can barely keep my eyes open! I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. I got involved in a book and then watched some tv before going to sleep at 3am! :scared1: Getting less than half the amount of sleep I need a night is not a good thing! Falling asleep at work is highly discouraged!

Hand the woman a paper bag, she is going to hyperventilate. I am crafty and find I can't glue gun without at least 2nd degree burns on several fingers.

Do it, do it!!!! Seriously, I will if you will :lmao:

Yeah, lets do it. Beth never needs to know. We don't need her approval. We are strong independent women armed with box knives, we could take over the world....opening a few boxes should be a piece of cake. Hah!!! Nanny nanny boo boo to you Beth...we don't need no stinking approval.

Oh, do you think Beth will read this...oops.....nevermind.

Seriously Jen, I think your real story is pretty interesting. But I am a bit bummed that you don't really have a couple of bell wearing cows. Oh, but that is just me.

I took many hours of German in high school and college. That was way many moons ago. I cannot speak it at all, but find I can understand some. I ate in the Biergarten in EPcot, and found much of the casual conversation between wait staff was understandable. Of course it was all about Bier, and Wasser and Platten....so pretty simple.

OK is somebody punking me or what??? I just got another one of those WEIRD blank e-mails! :confused3 What they hey???
I think it is an area 51 cover up plot. I do, no kidding. I am having no such emails, but then, I am wearing my alien proof tin foil hat!!!

My husband is a very lucky man, what can I say? How many wives do you know who are willing to give up so much of their beauty rest to watch tv them?

:thumbsup2
