If we're keeping Thursday as our Lime green day maybe we should wear last years shirt on arrival day. Anyone following the thread will have seen the pictures and it would be easy for newbies to pick us out.

I love this idea.

I really like the idea for last years shirt to be warn on the first day. And then maybe the character shirt for the Princess day?

Also, do I need to be getting a tiara for that day too? This is not something I would normally wear either, lol, but if it's tradition, I am on board.

It is a shocker that I don't have a tiara, isn't it? I mean, who doesn't have a collection of those lying around the house.

Do you fellow Canadian gals have a place where you go for your shirts? We don't have any Targets open here yet. I guess I could try Zellers or Wal-mart, but just wondered if there were any certain places you guys have gone.

Well, like Theresa said, Claires is a good place. Depends on what you are looking for. Sometimes you can find them cheap in the toy sections of Walmart and Target. Mine is from Claires and it was only $6. We usually wear tiaras on the day we take the Princess Fantasy Faire photo.

Oh my goodness! Who knew that t-shirts could turn into such a debate! Haha.

With between 45-50 strong ladies on board? Anything can turn into a debate. But, it's always resolved in the end, usually in a way that works for mostly everyone.

All these opinions on what shirts to wear on what day! I can just imagine how it will be when we start discussing meals.
All food is good to me so I don't care where we eat.

Funnily enough, we never really debate meals. I think food is the one thing we can all agree on!

Oct. 18, I'm taking the family to Knott's Scary Farm.
The 19th I'm ditching the family and a bunch of us (Divas) are meeting in the parks to hang out. Chris is joining us that day.
The 20th, I'm taking my family to Universal Studios. So is Capri. We are meeting there. Anyone is welcome to join us at US if you want!

Are you going in October? If so, try to plan around those days so you can hang out in the parks with us on the 19th.

Yes, we really do. And don't think for a second anyone is getting out of wearing a tiara for the Princess photo. If you say you conveniently forgot it, people always bring extras.
You don't have to wear it all day. Just the 3 minutes it takes to snap the photo. And around Halloween sometimes you can even find them at the Target dollar spot, or the dollar stores. The one I wore last year was plastic. I left my nicer one from Claires at home.

Oooo! I like that! And new Divas could just wear a shirt the color of the previous year. So 2013 would be WOW PINK. LOL

At this point, my October trip is on the Endangered Species list with DH because of the WDW trip at the end of November. Plus we are going to Vegas the following weekend. I have the 19th booked at the retro rate at HoJo though.

I'm also going to throw out some suggestions. Just suggestions now, you know.

The first day in the past has always been lime green. That was our official Dis Diva color to meet and greet everyone. Since Wednesday is our new first official day, I vote that it should still be our lime green day.

Thursday, be whatever you want day. There are no official pics taken that day, and for most of us, it will not be an all day shirt. Ladies will either be leaving early to decorate, or to get ready for the meet and greet in our hill billy get ups.

Friday- new tee. More on that later.

Saturday- Pink tee, would look great for the Princess photos this year.

Sunday- what ever color is picked for this year, be it red or whatever.

Ok, take it for whatever it is worth.

Yep - we wanted to take advantage of the excitement of the Carsland opening!

Gee the scavy theme has been guessed before I had a chance to guess. I was thinking along the lines of Get Your Kicks On Route 66.

Friday on the schedule we have the traditional group photo in front of the castle. But since the hunt will be in DCA, what about a new place for the photo - maybe in front of the new Cathay circle fountain??

We can always do both a castle photo and PFF photo on Sat.
