My mom ordered them the evening of May 24th and they were delivered via UPS yesterday so not bad considering the holiday. She only did the lowest shipping which was UPS ground for $5.00. They had 2 other (faster) shipping options too.

I ordered mine on the 28th, so Monday. Did your Mom get any type of shipment confirmation? I haven't had anything but my order confirmation, I'm nervous....even tho I don't need it until July. LOL

I'll be getting there on Wednesday. Might fly but will probably drive I5. Judging from all the drives I've been making lately traffic shouldn't be bad until hitting the LA basin.

Are you driving down and back solo, or is your daughter going to be with you? I can't remember. I wonder if hubby would let me go a day earlier if it meant saving money by not flying? Hm. Even if gas goes up again, splitting that would still be cheaper than airfare.... LOL Let me know if you'd like a co-pilot if you're going solo!

The name Cookie reminds me when a bunch of the ladies came out to Vegas and we did the Stripper 101 class, I think the instructor was referring to a G-string as a cookie cover.

It's fun. We took the kids back in '08. We'd need something else to do that day though because the soda fountain is really just about an hour out of the day. It's very small. The ice cream is good, but the food is nothing special at all.
We ordered the Mickey's Masterpiece when we went. Here is the photo I took of it. Even with 6 of us, we didn't come close to finishing it! lol

My daughter lives in So Cal. So I'll be solo but I haven't decided rather to drive or fly I HATE driving in the LA traffic which is why I thought flying into John Wayne and then taking a shuttle would be so much more relaxing. Let's wait and see how crazy the airfare is.

So the week I decide to start reading this thread faithfully you gals go apebusters. I can't keep up with it all. Whoosh I'm tired.

For those who expressed interest in the off-site day...Linda, Mel, Chris, Katie, Pam, Theresa, (who am I missing?), what do y'all think about Sea World?
I love it there and have always wanted to "Dine with Shamu". That would be a fun thing to do. Do they even still do that?? I'm not riding that new roller coaster though!!

Then again, maybe everyone is thinking something more laid back... hang out at the beach, shop, eat... Balboa Island is a cute place.

Well, I'm just thinking aloud here. I love Disney, but I'm getting excited about doing something new and different with some of the Divas!

I took Trish to Thunder when we went to Vegas for her 50th. The most entertaining part of the evening was actually the group at our table who were celebrating a 21st birthday. Cute gay boys. They were an absolute RIOT! The totally drunk bachleorette at the next table was pretty funny too.....

Cute gay boys = the best. I spent one of my milestone b-days bar hopping and such with a bunch of cute gay boys. Great night out and they don't expect a booty call in return.

I'm not saying she's slow - I'm saying she's planning ahead to get there on Tuesday, the day before the trip is all official like, to make the best use of the less busy parks. Smart cookie, that Kandace

The WA caravan sounds like a lot of fun, but unfortunately, I will likely come in Thursday because of work and DD's classes otherwise, I would be all over that opportunity.

Okay for room arrangements...my DD, Kim, and I are going to be rooming together at the Grand Californian for the trip. She will have recently turned 21 shortly prior to our trip and it is my little treat for her. I am okay with walking to Hojos to party with you gals though, as it sounds like most of our group will be there.
