For some reason, I've had cabin fever lately. Not sure why.

Cassidy is a huge Disney fan, she really is. She's a Sophomore and wears Disney clothes to school, my oldest wouldn't have done that. LOL

Noelle is a sophomore as well, and will occasionally wear something Disney to school. But she just isn't a big Disney fan like I am. I wish she was. Then in November for her 16th birthday, I could do a mother/daughter trip like you are. But, I fear on her, it wouldn't be money well spent. If that makes sense. Not that she isn't grateful for everything she gets, she is. But she might prefer something else. What?? Heck if I know.

Heading to LA on Monday to see my DS and DD. Our APs have expired so we'll be purchasing new one .... I'll need it for the Diva trip .... right?

This is the time of year I go almost invisable The field trip was exhausting, but successful. My boss was actually quite entertaining. While we were in the boiler room of the TOT, he slyly kept whispering, "You are all gonna die", "It's going to fall....," and other creepy things. When you turned to look at him he would just stare around like nothing happened. What a goof! He told me today that he would love to see us go on this trip every year since it was so worthwhile. We agreed on the things that will need to change and his negatives were the same things I thought were negatives. One student informed us she had chicken pox the moment we arrived to the hotel so her parents had to drive down Saturday and pick her up. Hopefully I didn't catch it, but it is too early to tell. I did get to meet a bunch of Deaf actors and Matt Hamill, but meeting Marlee Matlin was the highlight! I started crying right before it was my turn and then started laughing cause I was so embarrassed and suprised at myself! I learned signs for many characters, Ariel's is my favorite, I think.

I am debating whether or not to squeeze in another DL trip before our week long trip in June, but I think Saturdays are all blackouts from here on out and any weekdays I have off will be holidays...hmmm decisions decisions.

Just got home from my farewell dinner and figured I would drop by before my big move tomorrow!! Sorry for not keeping up with the thread right now but I think I have a pretty good excuse I make the drive back to Anaheim tomorrow and then I have Traditions on Friday!

So, question for you ladies......I'm considering taking Cassidy (DD15) to DL for a Mother/Daughter 16th birthday trip, her birthday is in early July. I can use our timeshare and stay on points (so basically free, just the valet fee), if we go over her bday weekend its 1700 points, if I go the week before (July 4th week so I'd spend the 4th away from DD12 and Micah) we can do the whole week (M-F) for 1300 points.....or....we can go ON her bday and stay 4 nights for 850 points....... what to do what to do..........I don't think I should stay on-site, I think it's more cost effective to stay at the Peacock........and if I stay at the Peacock I can swing for something special for us, like F! seating or something like that.....
I haven't talked to her yet, I want it to be a sort of surprise if I do it. Thoughts??

Have you stayed at Peacock before? We are staying there in June and are curious about the size of the rooms, amentities, walk, etc.

I'm glad the principal actually loosened up and had fun. It could have gone bad if he was a Mr. Grumpy pants the whole time. Your trip sounds like it was successful even though there were a few hiccups .

Adam is home sick today. Poor guy. Some sort of stomach bug. He seems to be better already, but last night was bad for him. I hope it doesn't make the rounds!!

Saturday will be Newport Beach and then DL in the evening. If I can figure out the train and bus system I think I'll do a solo day on Thurs. Hope to meet my DS for lunch on Tues. Sunday will be watching both DD and DS play softball ... yes they are both over 30 but still love to have their mama at their games.

YAY for being almost Friday!!!! I'm so done with this week, it's just been insane. My girls are eager for HG too, I saw a commercial the other night after they were in bed, I said to Micah "I certainly hope this movie is all the girls' want it to be" Jade yells from her room "It will!!!!" just as Cassidy yells from hers "It will!!!!" LOL
I hope Adam feels better soon!! Even if I had a stomach bug I'd be at work, can't stay home when no one else knows how to do your job......
Busy busy busy week for me, busy weekend too but it will be FUN!

ETA I'm pretty sure I'm doing the trip in July, I'm going to talk to Micah about it this week/weekend and get it booked by next week. I'm excited!!!!!! I think it will be a lot of fun!!

I too love all those 80's movies and I own pretty much all of them. I graduated in 85 so those were all the movies I watched WHILE in high school myself so lots of good memories. In fact my girls and I just watched Breakfast Club again the other day. CLASSIC. Maybe it's just me but I haven't seen any movies recently that even compare to those. LOVE em!!

Kerri we took my oldest on her 16th and I guess it just depends on what is more important/fun to your dd. Personally I would save the money on the room and do some fun stuff in the parks. I think F or something similiar would be awesome and a nice dinner and perhaps order a cake for her. We did that and my dd loved it. They have really cool gift baskets you can order too although not sure if you have to be staying onsight.

I am sure whatever you decide it will be fun!!

Well, I'm all settled in for the night. Listening to my Sharks play on the radio since I can't watch the home feed anymore. Sigh. I'm exhausted though so as soon as the game is over I am passing out!! I've got Traditions nice and early in the morning. Eeek. It's really happening. And I got a call from Target today and they may have some hours for me to pick up next week. That sure would be nice!

Was it super crowded?? They showed it on our news last night. All the people waiting in line for hours. Even though you can buy your tickets online, if you want a decent seat, you still had to line up around 8 or 9 and wait for 3-4 hours. It was crazy!

I've got Traditions nice and early in the morning. Eeek. It's really happening. And I got a call from Target today and they may have some hours for me to pick up next week. That sure would be nice!

Both Allyson and Christine went last night, I heard someone come home at 2:44 this morning!! And they left the hall light on, which shines right in my bedroom!! We drove by last night around 7pm and there were already people in line, I think the girls got in line around 9. Not sure how good their seats were since they're still in bed!!

OMG me toooooooooooo!!! I watch that show every week, love it and love him!! Did you see August Rush? He was great in that, small part but that accent......OMG and I loved him in Moonlight, that's really when my obsession began....LOL

I've never done a trip report, maybe I should, that might be fun! I'll let you know if I do.
We had a friend go to the midnight show, he was in line at 7 pm, he was pretty close to the front so I think he got decent seats. I bought the girls their tickets last night, they are going to the 4:30 pm show tomorrow afternoon to see it in IMAX. Cassidy actually paid for it, she gave me $50 that she'd been saving up for this and I bought the tickets online, I gave her back $20 as change and then gave her $20 for snacks. I told her not to lose either the tickets or the money because if she did she was just SOL. lol They are so excited, you just can't imagine. I mean I've been excited for movies but I don't know if I've ever been that excited. LOL

So, was looking at ticket prices last night, I'd want to get 4 day hoppers I think, they are $234 each, I'd probably upgrade after using the MM, but then I need to decide between a DAP or PAP.....and then I need to decide if I'm paying the difference up front or monthly......hmmmmmm

I'm super glad it's Friday! It's been an insanely busy week for me. The weekend will be fun tho, tomorrow night we have a spaghetti feed we are going to and Sunday I'm going to help my friend do some demo on her house, she's remodeling and to save money she's doing some of the demo. Well her DH is out of town (he's military) and she wants to start now so I'm going to help her on Sunday.
I made some cute new jewelry this week (I do that to decompress, along with drink wine lol), I'm wearing the bracelet today, it's so cute!! I should post a photo on FB.

DBF and I are going to see The Hunger Games tonight. I got tickets for the 9:45pm show so we can have dinner first. I didn't realize it was so long, we'll still be in the theater after midnight.

We're going to go to Disneyland this weekend. Most likely on Sunday.
