Add me in for Carnation Cafe and Chip and Dale and Blue Bayou.

Do we want to get a dinner planned either Friday or Saturday? Maybe someplace where we can get counter service, but still get together? I know we talked about that before.

Sorry I missed Amy's post.

One thing I really like about Zazzle is that we can choose a design for everyone, then order on our own, if we want. That way it would be individually sent to us, we can pick our own sizes/styles. If we wanted, for most items, you could choose a three quarter sleeve, a cami or a sweatshirt. As long as we kept the same color, that might work for us.

I personally don't love Tink, but if that's what everyone wants to do, I'll go with it.
Is there anyway of getting the beautiful castle that Grizzbuzz (might be wrong spelling) made cards for us for? That would be a great tshirt.

I like the wording DisLadies do Disneyland.

I'd love any advice anyone has about the Halloween activities over at DCA. We're heading out there tomorrow night. Last year I went, but it was such a blur and I know I didn't see everything. I think we're planning to get there when it opens and stay as long as the girls will allow. Zoe usually can last the entire night, but we've got a friend going with, so we'll have to see.

So, what are must do/must see? Best places for treats? Things to avoid?

We're planning to eat dinner at McD before going over, so planning snacks/treats only in the park.

I'll add you for those.
The Carnation Cafe is dinner for Friday. I don't have a dinner planned for Saturday because those taking the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour at 2:30 will get a meal after their tour so sometime around 6-ish. I'm sure they won't want to eat again that night.
So Saturday night would be a good night to plan something casual for those of us who aren't on that tour.

The lines for the treats seem long but they went fast. The best place the night we were there, was the route behind Grizzly Rapids ride. They had like 3 or 4 stations back there and they were deserted. Totally empty while all the others had long lines.

Personally I'd avoid the line for Mickey and Minnie. That was a disaster when we were there! So packed. :scared1: Or if it's important to you, go there first.

HAve fun!! We got so much candy it was insane!

After all that walking, who knows? ;)
LOL

I am so tired. I can't look at any more tees or tee designs tonight. I'm glad at least we seem to have all agreed (or so far anyway) on the tie dye one.

My kids have projects to work on tomorrow night and this weekend. I am so not looking forward helping them with it. One has to make a game board, the other a monster, and another has to make 3 different types of volcanoes. Why do teachers think it's a good idea to assign these extra "fun" projects in addition to all the homework they already have??
Who's it fun for?? Not me, that's for sure. Not when I am so uncreative and I've got to run out and spend more money buying all the supplies to make it with. It's like torture. LOL

Oh well. Ok, that was my rant for the night. I'm off to bed.

Hey Steph, sorry things are so hectic for you. Geesh, that doesnt' sound fun at all!! I bet you'll be happy to get home again.

This is the schedule so far:

Thursday, March 5 ~ Girls Only Trip II official start date!! Meet and Greet/Kick off pizza party at HoJo's! (more details to come)

Friday, March 6 ~ VIP Tour, Blue Bayou lunch, Carnation Cafe dinner

Saturday, March 7 ~ Chip-n-Dale character breakfast (time to be determined), Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour @ 2:30

Sunday, March 8 ~ Segway Tour @ 7:15 a.m.,

Monday, March 9 ~

I think they are pretty well spaced out for the meals. We don't want anyone too stuffed to walk. LOL

I'll add you to those now. :thumbsup2

Good morning, ladies!
Beth, will you please add me to Carnation Cafe and Chip n Dale? I am still debating on Blue Bayou. I will let you know soon.

AND could you please take my name off of the WIWF tour?:flower3: Thanks!

I hope you are

Good Morning Ladies!
I am so with Beth on the school projects. They need to do that crap at school! I'll take book work at home any old day.

A Question: Will the VIP tour start a bit later in the day? I have not booked yet but was looking at arriving on Friday around 10:00am. Would that still work? I will also check into the Thursday night flights, but taking extra time off of work on Thursday is difficult.

I want to do Carnation Cafe on Friday, and will do Chip and Dales on Saturday.

Thanks!

Take as many pair of pants as you can get into your suitcase. I am a compulsive over packer. I will pack everything I want to take, which is usually more than I need, and then take a few extra things as well. Then if I have any spare room, I will stuff more into it. Take all 8 pairs.

I am a compulsive overpacker also :rolleyes1
Well you never know when you might need to change into something else!!

LOL

I like the tie dyed ones.

Ok, well I'm officially back to stay. I was chatting with DH last night and he said since I'm already stressed by the new job and I've only been doing it 2 weeks, I'll really need some away time by March! LOL. He is so sweet. I don't think I can do Thurs-Mon, so my plan is to do Thurs-Sun. I emailed Lorealle at Hojo's to find out about a room. If anyone needs a roommate I don't have issues sharing a room. I am hoping to have my room booked by this weekend. I'll be at Hojo's this weekend, so I can always book it there. it looks like the tours are filling up, so unless we start building new groups, I'll just wait to join those.

Here's what I do want to do:
- Chip & Dale breakfast
- Blue Bayou lunch on Friday
- Carnation Cafe dinner on Friday.
- I'd like to do the Segway tour also however, it looks like we'll need another group, so I won't be sad if not enough people want to do it. :)

I am so excited that everything worked out and I get to go!!!

Amen Sister!!! I always cringe when I see a new project assigned :scared: . However, my kids always get an "A" on projects because their mother is a compulsive perfectionist and ends of doing about 80% of the projects (I know, I'm a bad mother for doing the work for them

). My son had to make a game board in the 6th grade. Good Luck  .

And to stay on the subject of the trip, I love both the Tinkerbell and Tie Dye shirts. I'll probably only be ordering one of them, but I think they are both great

Morning ladies!!

I'm off to run some errands. I'll update the lists on the front page when I get back. :)

Good morning all.

Hey Beth I filled mom in yesterday on the latest scoop and I sure didn't think she would be up for BB since it is so spendy and since we just did it in July but she is up for it. So add us to the list!! I love that place I have to admit and the atmosphere is so worth it and the deserts!! AHHHHH!

And I agree Saturday is good to leave open and since my friend may be joining us that day I was going to probably leave that open for just mom, myself and her to go have dinner anyway before she left. So we will probably do that anyway.

I LOVE all the different shirts but esp Tink. She's my fav. But whatever you guys choose I said it once and I'll say again I am SO not talented so anything I can purchase works for me! ;)

I also like the idea of more than one so we can have matching shirts on more than one day.

And I def like the idea of the photopass but Stacies whole explanation just went RIGHT over my head so someone might have to explain it to me in preschool language lol. I would def like to be in on it but it was like stereo instructions LOL. I THINK it sounds great but I don't know if I really "got" what you have to do. Ok OK I know I am dumb! I admit it. So can someone break it down for the dummy?

Anyway everything sounds good to me and we are definitely up for everything so far except the tours like I said. In fact mom was even saying she might want to do that but like I said we have done the WIWF and the VIP is a bit too spendy and we won't even go there about segway. Mom is all bragging cuz SHE could do it but hey let's not even talk about me. I don't want to be outdone by the 65 year old!

I just PM'd you about needing a roommate.

Sorry about Hawaii! Yes I did find a roommate, but I haven't found anyone to drive down with! :goodvibes

Wendy- Ok, so I'm up for carpooling still if you are? The only thing is I'm only going March 5-8 as I'll have to get back for work on Monday. Are you staying for the entire trip? Any restrictions on travel times? I was thinking leaving early Thursday AM and coming back Sunday afternoon or evening?

Photopass shares sound really complicated--but they're not. Essentially, go to Disneyland Resort and take as many pictures as you can with the photopass photogs--they will give you a little card that they will scan your pictures onto (as well as into their camera computer). If you forget your card in the hotel no problem--get another card. You can upload more than one number.

When you get home, wait for Stacielee to give you instructions with the log-in info. THEN you will go onto the photopass site and upload your numbers. DO NOT OPEN YOUR OWN ACCOUNT

Once you've entered your numbers your pictures will be added to the account--and the system will give you opportinities to crop, resize and do other things with your photos as well as add special borders (they are very cute). Each time you add a border or change the picture you need to save it as a separate picture.

When you and everyone else on the share are done editing, Stacielee will order the cd and when she receives it she will make copies for you along with the certificate for copies. (Some photo stores will require this.)

HOpe that helps!
