What Cheryl said! But, I wanted to add that it is essential and very important that you don't view or open your pictures online until after you give the info. to Stacie. For some reason, this is one of the biggest sticking points when doing photopass shares. People get back to their room, or back home and just want to "look" at their pictures, and by doing that, it makes it that you can't add them to the photopass share.
If you remember that and nothing else, you'll be fine. Stacie is great and she'll walk you right through it. Just get as many photopass pictures as you can along the way, keep the cards and then send the info. to Stacie when you get back.

Photopass shares sound really complicated--but they're not. Essentially, go to Disneyland Resort and take as many pictures as you can with the photopass photogs--they will give you a little card that they will scan your pictures onto (as well as into their camera computer). If you forget your card in the hotel no problem--get another card. You can upload more than one number.

When you get home, wait for Stacielee to give you instructions with the log-in info. THEN you will go onto the photopass site and upload your numbers. DO NOT OPEN YOUR OWN ACCOUNT

Once you've entered your numbers your pictures will be added to the account--and the system will give you opportinities to crop, resize and do other things with your photos as well as add special borders (they are very cute). Each time you add a border or change the picture you need to save it as a separate picture.

When you and everyone else on the share are done editing, Stacielee will order the cd and when she receives it she will make copies for you along with the certificate for copies. (Some photo stores will require this.)

HOpe that helps!

Yay my hero. Ok that doesn't sound TOO complicated! ;) I think I can do that. I have done the regular photopass but never the CD. We just never did enought pics to make it worthwhile but hey if we are a big group I am sure we will end up getting some group shots and stuff that I may want to subscribe to! So I guess I better tell beth to sign me up for that too! Heck I am doing it all practically! SIGNZ ME UP FOR EVRTHANG! (and yes I intentionally misspelled that. I'm not THAT ignorant!) I know it is quickly seeming that way though!

Anyway thanks for the explanation and by the way I SO know what you mean about the packing THANG! I so don't know what to pack and for an obsessive compulsive like me that is QUITE troubling! :scared: I am usually packed a whole MONTH ahead of time. I have my bags out and have my swimsuit and a nightshirt and that's IT! I so don't want to be overweight and now with these stupid 1 bag rules. UG! I SO overpack most of the time and now I can't do that! I def think the 8 pairs of black pants is SO a must! I am afraid I will be too cold in shorts and too hot in pants. Ahhh what to do. If it were DL I would SO know what to take for a Nov trip but DW!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAH!

And you are just NOT getting back in time to tell me what to pack! THE SHAME of it all! Sheesh! ;)

Hey Beth,
When you get back from running your errands and update the lists, can you add me to the Photopass and Chip n Dale breakfast? I PM'd the persons in charge of each one.

And I just wanted to say that the Photopass was the best $8 (or whatever it was) I spent all weekend. I got so many wonderful pix and had a lot of fun cropping, adding borders and whatnot to them. And like all the others have said, Stacie makes it so easy, just follow her instructions and wha-laa, lots of awesome pictures! Thanks again Stacie.:lovestruc

Thanks Linda, Michelle & Cheryl. That is the biggest problem people have, they open their own account and then cannot add it to our group account. I'm pretty sure you can, however, go into the Photo store on Main Street and look at your pictures and even buy some there if you want, but make sure you keep the card to add to our account. Someone correct me if that is not true.

Last time, I think we had 14 people and ended up with something like 701 pictures, which were on 2 CDs.

You might want to periodically check my post, Photopass Sharing Information, for any changes. I'm trying to keep the list of participants there as well, and I think Beth is updating the list on the 1st page, too.

We are at 12 people, we can keep adding people, but our account will end up with A LOT of pictures.

LOL

I am so tired. I can't look at any more tees or tee designs tonight. I'm glad at least we seem to have all agreed (or so far anyway) on the tie dye one.

My kids have projects to work on tomorrow night and this weekend. I am so not looking forward helping them with it. One has to make a game board, the other a monster, and another has to make 3 different types of volcanoes. Why do teachers think it's a good idea to assign these extra "fun" projects in addition to all the homework they already have??
Who's it fun for?? Not me, that's for sure. Not when I am so uncreative and I've got to run out and spend more money buying all the supplies to make it with. It's like torture. LOL

Oh well. Ok, that was my rant for the night. I'm off to bed.

Amen Sister!!! I always cringe when I see a new project assigned :scared: . However, my kids always get an "A" on projects because their mother is a compulsive perfectionist and ends of doing about 80% of the projects (I know, I'm a bad mother for doing the work for them

). My son had to make a game board in the 6th grade. Good Luck  .

And to stay on the subject of the trip, I love both the Tinkerbell and Tie Dye shirts. I'll probably only be ordering one of them, but I think they are both great

.

I don't think I have ever actually worked on one of DD's projects. I always take her to the store to get the materials she says she needs for them, and then I let her do them on her own. The only time she had help was when she needed the walls cut for her mission. She drew what she wanted, and we cut them. Other than that, she's on her own. I already went to school and did my own projects.

Last week she had to make a scale model of an amimal cell. That was a very expensive trip to Michaels. She did a great job on it. I have a pic on my myspace account of it.

I don't think there is a problem with parents helping out, I just think its terrible when they do the whole thing. I won't name names, but my DSIL is the worst with that. (I didn't tell you her name so I am golden). She does the entire project from start to finish for all her kids. I just don't get it.

and then they wonder why their kids are helpless when they go off to college . . . . .

It does your child a disservice to do their projects because in the real world you are responsible for your own work.

And if you can't stand alone and then how can you one day lead. Everyone has to lead someone or something at one time in their life.

That's what school is about trying, struggling, learning and growing.:goodvibes

I had a thought for the tees that I wanted to run by everyone.

Now, I realize it wouldn't be as cute as the ones from before or as some of the DISign tees, but what about matching tye dye tees? :confused3

I have this link I got from a friend who's ordered from her before and I was thinking they might be kind of fun.

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5618991

It would be easy because each person would be responsible for ordering and bringing their own tee. And if nothing else, we'd be easy to spot in a crowd! :rotfl2: She also has regular and plus sizes which is nice. And she says she does custom group orders.

I don't know. Just a thought. Talk amongst yourselves. I won't be mad if you all hate the idea. ;)

It's probably going to end up being something like this, or having one of the DISigners make us something and then each person print it out, and make their own tee.

Think it over. :)

I think these tees are really cute! Could we pick our own colors???:goodvibes

Welcome back Miss Cristabel..

hhmmm...i think they are going to select a color scheme for the tye dye..

i'm not sure..everything is still in the early stages.. so contribute your thoughts...i'm sure they will be appreciated.:goodvibes

Ok and those with kiddos doncha just hate when they come home and say MOOOOOM I can't do this. My teacher didn't tell me ANYYYYTHING about how to do it. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Like I SOOOO know they DIIIIID! So don't pull that crap on me! My kids come home and it is a paper explosion. I have a 2nd and a 3rd grader and then of course a teenage stepdaughter who is a jr and I always hear I don't know. I don't remember or my favorite "I forgot!" AHAHAHAHAHA

They expect me to practically do their work for them and I'm sorry but momma don't do NEW MATH! In fact I was trying to help my kids do some math and the teacher scolded me cuz I was doing it WRONG! FORGET IT! I was like sorry but that is how they taught us back in the 1800's! I don't do TOUCH math. Sounds perverted to me! I have to have my teenager help the 7 year old cuz I don't get it!

Then when they get to 5th grade they have to do mission reports on the CA missions and some of these kids bring in these models of missions that look like they got them from an architect. You KNOW mommy and daddy built those dang things. There's no WAY jr made that! PUHLEEZE!!!!

Nope we don't play that in this house. My kids have to make their own even if it's made out of the Kraft mac and cheese box and some duct tape!

Ok off my soap box. Sorry got the panties in a wad. You hit my button over here! :)

OMG! That mission was going to be the death of me, I just knew it! I think I put mine together the night before it was due. :rotfl:

Then seeing all the ones that mommy and daddy made for their child, even though the rules said not to, made me SO mad. Oh well, that was years ago, time for me to get over it! :lmao:

I am 99.9999999% sure that this is accurate.

They don't put it onto an account at all while you're looking, so I can't think of a way it could mess things up.

And for big group shots Stacielee, I think it would be a good idea to have someone check over the card that has those shots on it. That way you know if it came out so you can re-do it if needed (better to find out while everyone's still there, right?).

Well being a texas girl.. when i was little we had to make The Alamo.

So i made mine out of sugar cubes..{You shut your mouth WendyLouWho, Right Now, Hush Your mouth! :lmao: }

Anyway, i ended up eatting half the Alamo.

I'm back. I've noted everyone's requests and will update the front page in a sec. Always make sure to double check though just in case I miss someone. Thanks!!

I bought all the crap for the school projects. I do not do the project for them but I will help them, especially the twins who are only 8. I mean come on, they need some help.

I am just against the projects all together. I don't care what the teacher or anyone says, they are not necessary. Not when an 8 year old is coming home with two hours worth of spelling, reading, math, etc every night. It's ridiculous to add more work to that. We usually end up working on projects on the weekend because there isn't time during the week, which makes me even more mad because that's there rest time.

I guess it's a real hot button for me. I don't agree with it and never will. I think they already ask too much of kids these days. Why add extra so called "fun" projects that are expensive and not fun for anyone. And most of these projects will not effect their learning one way or the other. It just makes more work. But that's just my opinion. :)

I'm just glad I'm too old for them to have done the mission--we studied Japan in the fourth grade!
