This is how the Photopass sharing works, please read ALL of this:

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER:
Do NOT open your own Photopass account to look at your photos. Once they are in one account they can't be put into another one.

1. I am going to create an email and a brand new Photopass account before we leave in March. Once the first pictures are put into the account, we will have 30 days to edit/embellish the pictures before ordering the CD. PM me with your DIS name, e-mail address, name, and address. Once I create the account, I will send you the login information.

2. When you have pictures taken by the DL photographers, the first one you use will give you a Photopass card (like a gift card). Each time after that you get them to take your pictures you will let them scan your card. This keeps all your pictures together – if one day you forget your card, it is OK, you can get a new one, but your pictures will be on more than one card – not an issue. The Photopass website will let you add multiple cards (which is how we are able to share). This thread is pretty current and may help you find Photopass spots: Disney's PhotoPass Locations. You DO NOT have to do anything other than have them snap pictures and scan the card – no uploading at parks or anything. Just find the photographer, hand them your card and have them take pictures – it is that easy. There is also information on the website Stitch Kingdom. One thing I would recommend if you have a digital camera is to take a picture of the back of your Photopass card, where the number is printed, just in case some of the pictures don't turn up online.

3. Each of us will have our own card(s). So keep them with you.

4. Once you return from the trip, you can log onto the account and add your Photopass card numbers.

5. I will create our very own Photopass account to share. You can ONLY add your card numbers (pictures) here. To add the picture you log on and add your Photopass card numbers (if you have any issues when that time comes, I can help you). Once they are up you can edit them/add embellishments. Only add your Photopass card pictures here, not your personal camera ones. If you add your cards (pictures) to another account they will not be able to be added to our shared account – the website will only let you have your card on one account.

6. You can add your pictures as soon as you return home; remember, we have 30 days from the date the first pictures are uploaded.

7. After about 28 days, I will order our CD(s), unless we all agree on an earlier date.

8. Once I receive the CDs, I will burn you a CD/DVD and mail it to you for the cost of the materials (DVD, envelope, postage), which should be about $5 each. I'm assuming we will need at least one DVD or 2 CDs per person with all the pictures we'll have.

9. You can order other products from the Photopass website, and possibly have them shipped to you. If they end up only being able to ship to me, I can include them with your DVD/CDs.

*** Pricing Information: The current price for the Disneyland Photopass is $59.95 plus $7.00 shipping. The per person costs are listed below, which includes $5 for the DVD(s), envelope and postage. ***

8 people - $9
9 people - $8
10 people - $7.20
11 people - $6.55
12 people - $6

We could have more than 12 people, but it gets very overwhelming and hard to find your pictures on the Photopass website when you're trying to edit them.

You can look at your pictures at Disneyland before going home, and even order pictures if you want. DO NOT MAKE A PHOTOPASS ACCOUNT ONCE YOU GET HOME, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ADD THEM TO OUR PHOTOPASS SHARING ACCOUNT.

I am coming from Sacramento and I did look into OC and that is where we usually fly into but it is actually quite a bit cheaper to fly into LAX. I do prefer to fly into OC but after coming off a HUGE trip to DW in Nov and then having my daughter's week long birthday trip the VERY next month in April I must be budget minded.

So we are opting to do LAX. It is like 69 1 way versus 110. So that is quite the difference. And we are going to do the Disneyland express which is also pretty cheap. We can get it round trip from LAX for like 25 bucks. So not too bad. But thanks for the tip. I appreciate you guys looking out for the newbie to the group!

I was SO thinking earlier today of going to Apple Hill this weekend. I LOVE their caramel apples, yum yum!!! Then I could also get a pumpkin!

If you do go I got that at Abels Apple farm but WARNING going the weekend before Halloween is dangerous cuz the crowds will probably be MASSIVE!! We went a few weekends ago and it was packed then. I used to go during the week before the kids were in school full time and the place was desserted but the weekends are a madhouse. It took us 30 minutes just to park and they had a cop directing traffic.

But it is SO worth it just for those apples alone. And they have yummy pies and garlic french fries. Don't think they are as good as the pomme frittes but the smell alone.

And yeah you can get a pumpkin there but we stopped doing it cuz hey you can get one cheaper at winco but then I am cheap. We just go up for the atmosphere and those apples.

If you DO go have fun! Can't wait to meet ya in March. You seem like lots o fun!

I have a question about the meals. How does this work since there are so many of us? Do we all meet and yet get our own checks or do they make us get one check or how does this work? Mom and I have AP's so we of course would want to get our AP discount and of course I NEVER have cash and always pay with plastic so I was just kind of wondering how that goes. Do they let people split up the check? I know they usually don't like to do that at normal restaurants when there are big parties. Do we need to get cash for the meals that we are going to go to with the group so we can all chip in and does someone who has a pass just use one pass for a discount?

Just wondering how this all works.

Well, it sort of depends on the restaurant and how many of us there are. When we were at House of Blues, we all had separate checks. There were about 13 of us.

If you need a separate check, it shouldn't be a problem. As long as we tell them upfront what we need, I don't see it being an issue. I'll probably be using plastic as well, so you won't be the only one.

It can get so crazy there! Especially at High Hill Ranch Oh and then there's Barsotti's Apple Juice, my favorite stuff ever! I'm so happy they started selling it in the grocery store. My family use to go every year to the pumpkin patch, but stopped a couple of years ago. We still go every year for our Christams tree, now there's some prices to make you scream!

On the T shirt front.

Here's an idea..

What if everyone got their own ..White..T shirt..{ that way the color would be uniform}

And then put { just an example } ..A Big Lime Green Mickey Head on the front..

And then you could put something on the back... Disboard 2009..Girls Only Trip.. Whatever..

It might be alot of fun to see how similar and how different each shirt is when we get together.

Some might put a pirate hat on their mickey..or a tiara..or trim the lime green mickey head in black..or yellow..or whatever.

It's just an idea..

LOL--one time I was at DCA with my friends on the board of my Charter 100 group (this is the one where I get to go to Club 33 ) and we went over to the Visa Meet and Greet to get our photo taken. We had "Chip and Dale" as our characters. So one of my friends--obviously not very "Disney-savvy" says as we enter in to get our photo turn--"oh look--it's the SQUIRRELS!!!!!"

Needless to say--Chip and Dale--especially Chip--were quite put out with us. He just covered his eyes with hands and shook his head. Oh, the humanity!
