Man you guys ARE chatty. I don't know how I am ever going to keep up! Anywho I am going to pass on the tours as well. I have done the Walk in Walt's footsteps (and loved it by the way for those who have not done it!). And I wanted to do the Segway but I tried it at innoventions this summer and let's just say the Segway and I are NOT meant for eachother. It was NOT pretty! LOL.

And like Beth the VIP is way too rich for my blood so I will be passing on that as well.

As far as the goodies go mom and I will be flying in sometime Thursday night. Southwest STILL has not released the airfare for those dates so I am not sure as yet when we will be getting there that night but I am hoping to make it for the get together. Any ideas on timing? I am hoping to take an earlish flight and getting anaheim by 6 or 7ish. Hope that isn't too late to miss the party! We are flying in to LAX and then taking a shuttle. Not going to have a car so if we bring snacks we will have to pack them.

And as far as the breakfast on Sat we are in and dinner at Carnation on Friday sounds great too! Sign us up! We have to leave to get home though on Sunday afternoon so we won't be able to do anything Sunday evening though. So that will probably be it for us unless you have anything planned for Saturday night. I also have a friend who lives in the area who might be coming up for just the day and may be tagging along and if so I will let you know. I don't know if she will make it for the breakfast or what. But anyway I think that is everything for us for now. We want to do as much as we can with the group and hopefully make some friends and hang with you all!

Like I said I can't wait! You guys sound crazy fun! ;)

Not sure where you are flying from, but have you thought about flying into Orange County? It's usually about the same price but the Super Shuttle is much closer to Hojo's and only $10, $8 with discount.
 
Oh, one more thing. Beth, do you want me to organize a Photopass share like we did last time?

I wanted to go there when were there in December but it was just so busy.
So we went to RFC.

We decorated our door last year. Giant lime green Mickey heads. Lorealle hung out in our room and never said anything.

I'm not sure my DBF would like that. But hey, I could get used to the lifestyle.

I'm supposed to be in lab right now, but I didn't feel like going to campus today so I am doing my statistics work from home. But all I feel like doing is DISing. Heaven help me.

I brought in the lime green mickey heads for everyone's room, and in most cases, the hojo's staff put them up on the doors. I brought in the blue painters tape and they were enthusiastic.

You know, we have a lot of ladies signed up for this trip. I sure hope they are all remembering to check in now and then. It would be impossible for me to PM everyone each time there is an update, BUT the front page is always up to date. I update that sometimes several times a day if needed. And I change the thread title to reflect any plans, or changes.

I realize there are times when there is a lot of chatter on this thread, but that's also part of getting to know one another before the trip. It makes meeting up more fun, so I don't mind it. And if anyone doesn't have time to sort through it all, that's totally fine. That's why I keep all the info on the front page. It's all there, easy to find.

That's about all I can do. Beyond that it's up to each person to keep track of the planning. I just hope they are. I'd feel terrible if anyone missed out on something important.
So here's hoping everyone is up to date so far!! :wizard:

What I was clumsily trying to say is I'm basically a worry wart!! I want to make sure each and everyone has a great time and I worry some of the new ladies might be getting left out of the planning. So I was just saying I hope that everyone is noticing the changes and plans being made so they can have a say in them IF they want to that is. kwim?

This is how the Photopass sharing works, please read ALL of this:

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER:
Do NOT open your own Photopass account to look at your photos. Once they are in one account they can't be put into another one.

1. I am going to create an email and a brand new Photopass account before we leave in March. Once the first pictures are put into the account, we will have 30 days to edit/embellish the pictures before ordering the CD. PM me with your DIS name, e-mail address, name, and address. Once I create the account, I will send you the login information.

2. When you have pictures taken by the DL photographers, the first one you use will give you a Photopass card (like a gift card). Each time after that you get them to take your pictures you will let them scan your card. This keeps all your pictures together – if one day you forget your card, it is OK, you can get a new one, but your pictures will be on more than one card – not an issue. The Photopass website will let you add multiple cards (which is how we are able to share). This thread is pretty current and may help you find Photopass spots: Disney's PhotoPass Locations. You DO NOT have to do anything other than have them snap pictures and scan the card – no uploading at parks or anything. Just find the photographer, hand them your card and have them take pictures – it is that easy. There is also information on the website Stitch Kingdom. One thing I would recommend if you have a digital camera is to take a picture of the back of your Photopass card, where the number is printed, just in case some of the pictures don't turn up online.

3. Each of us will have our own card(s). So keep them with you.

4. Once you return from the trip, you can log onto the account and add your Photopass card numbers.

5. I will create our very own Photopass account to share. You can ONLY add your card numbers (pictures) here. To add the picture you log on and add your Photopass card numbers (if you have any issues when that time comes, I can help you). Once they are up you can edit them/add embellishments. Only add your Photopass card pictures here, not your personal camera ones. If you add your cards (pictures) to another account they will not be able to be added to our shared account – the website will only let you have your card on one account.

6. You can add your pictures as soon as you return home; remember, we have 30 days from the date the first pictures are uploaded.

7. After about 28 days, I will order our CD(s), unless we all agree on an earlier date.

8. Once I receive the CDs, I will burn you a CD/DVD and mail it to you for the cost of the materials (DVD, envelope, postage), which should be about $5 each. I'm assuming we will need at least one DVD or 2 CDs per person with all the pictures we'll have.

9. You can order other products from the Photopass website, and possibly have them shipped to you. If they end up only being able to ship to me, I can include them with your DVD/CDs.

*** Pricing Information: The current price for the Disneyland Photopass is $59.95 plus $7.00 shipping. The per person costs are listed below, which includes $5 for the DVD(s), envelope and postage. ***

8 people - $9
9 people - $8
10 people - $7.20
11 people - $6.55
12 people - $6
13 people - $5.55
14 people - $5.15


We could have more than 12 people, but it gets very overwhelming and hard to find your pictures on the Photopass website when you're trying to edit them.

You can look at your pictures at Disneyland before going home, and even order pictures if you want. DO NOT MAKE A PHOTOPASS ACCOUNT ONCE YOU GET HOME, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ADD THEM TO OUR PHOTOPASS SHARING ACCOUNT.

We are at 15 people, we can keep adding people, but our account will end up with A LOT of pictures.

One thing we need to think about is the LARGE number of pictures we had last time that were exactly the same. When we have a group taken, we really only need 1 or 2 people to add it to their card; everyone will still be able to make their own version of that picture, we just won't have to worry about having so many of the same.

We have one post on the front page that right now has sign up lists for the tours, the meals and now the photopass. So anyone who's wondering what they are signed up for can look there and make sure they are where they want to be. :thumbsup2

I'm also going to add Blue Bayou as a lunch choice on Friday. I know not everyone wanted to do this, but since I missed it last time and I can't afford it with my whole family, I'm going to add this if anyone is interested.
That can be an early lunch on Friday, and the Carnation Cafe for dinner. All I want there is the soup anyway! :rotfl:

Maybe those who don't want to do BB can meet up somewhere close by like Rancho or French Market or something. :confused3
