We're back from Prince Caspian. It was really, really good. Much better than the first Narnia movie, I thought.

Capri, hope Ryan is feeling better for his big day tomorrow. I wouldn't have the tooth fairy deliver those tickets. He might expect concert tickets or even bigger events for each of his other teeth. I don't think the tooth fairy could ever top Carrie Underwood, KWIM?

Wendy, have fun in Tahoe!

Jenn, enjoy your last low-key weekend for a while.

Beth, have fun walking the strip.

I gotta work on cleaning this house now. :laundy:

Disney-super-mom...(sorry, I'm working on matching DIS names with real names still)...I think you should stick with surprising him at the arena... sounds like a lot of fun! Besides, he probably wouldn't want to miss out on tooth fairy dollars!

I agree, I think it would be more fun surprising him at the Arena! And the tooth fairy dollars are important - he wants to save up and buy a Playstation 3. (Ha ha, I hope the tooth fairy has deep pockets. It might take him awhile to save up for a Playstation 3!):goodvibes

Oooh, I never thought about it like that. Yes, you're absolutely right. The tooth fairy could have dug herself in a deep hole by giving him concert tickets!:scared1:

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's much better tomorrow so he can really enjoy the concert.:wizard:

(Nana took our boys to see Prince Caspian last weekend, and they all said it was really good too.:thumbsup2)

Don't spend too much time cleaning house. It's a holiday weekend........go have some fun and relaxation!
:beach: :drinking1 party: :music: :boat: :music: :car:

Plans? Hahahahaha... It's my last "free" weekend before June hits: Dad's b-day, mom's b-day, Father's Day, parent's anniversary, sister's birthday, best friend's daughter's birthday, DD's pre-school graduation, brother's high school graduation... am I missing something? :scared:
Well, my 15 year wedding anniversary is in June as well. But don't stress over it, I'm easy to please. Gift cards will do just fine. :thumbsup2

:rotfl: Well, enjoy your free weekend. Sounds like your going to need to get all the rest you can while you can!

I'm going to Lake Tahoe with one of my best friends and we're going to hooker ourselves up, because that trip wont pay for itself! :rotfl: Actually, I'll be happy if all I get is someone to buy me a drink. We've been planning this trip for 3 months now and I was looking forward to going to Tahoe, but after the crappy week I've had, I just want to stay in bed.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend! :goodvibes
Aw, now that doesn't sound good. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad week.

But it's over now!! Time to have some fun, right?!?!
Here, I'll even buy you a drink (or three) to help get the party started:

Tomorrow is Ryan's BIG SURPRISE day! We're taking him to a Carrie Underwood concert! He's going to go crazy when he sees her live! He practically lost it just watching her on TV during the American Idol finale. He's soooooo in love with her!:lovestruc Also, Ryan lost his first molar today, so a visit from the tooth fairy is in order. So, either we could stick to our original plan and not tell him anything about the concert.....just show up at the Arena, and he won't know what's going on until the concert starts. Or, we could have the tooth fairy leave him Carrie Underwood concert tickets for his tooth. Hmmmmm, what do you think we should do?:confused3
Well, I agree with the decision you made, and what everyone else said. Let it be a surprise. OMG, he is going to be over the moon excited!!!!!

I cannot wait to hear all about it. Have a GREAT time! Oh, and I hope he feels better. :wizard:

Beth, have fun walking the strip.
Well, that's good to know. Maybe we'll go see it while we are in CA.

We never made it down to the Strip. Too many other errands to run. I keep buying groceries and darn kids keep eating them. :confused3

Woo-hoo! 3 drinks! That's way better than 1! I'm almost getting excited, but I'm not really there. Hopefully after my three drinks I'll be ready to get the party started  I just have to do laundry :laundy: and pack :scared: and I'm outta here! To bad I have to work on Monday :sad2: I might have so much fun I decide to stay there! Thanks to all the DIS ladies for keeping me sane (well, as sane as I'll ever be ;) ).

Tomorrow is Ryan's BIG SURPRISE day! We're taking him to a Carrie Underwood concert!
Then on Sunday we're having a family BBQ. I'm not sure who's house it will be at yet though. Oh well, such a minor detail, I'm not gonna worry about it.:goodvibes

Have fun at the concert! A BBQ sounds yummy :goodvibes

...

Beth, have fun walking the strip.

...

I clearly need to give more lessons on how to :stir: .

I would have written that line as....
Beth, have fun working, I mean walking the strip.

Who cares if Beth explained it properly in her original post. You just don't quote her. By the time people get to my post they've forgotten exactly what she wrote but do remember something vaguely about walking and the strip. :rolleyes1

This is why I'm her favourite and she will miss me terribly if I don't come in March. It's also why she blamed me for the kicking smilie she posted to Capri. :upsidedow

:rotfl:

Happy early anniversary!!

Checking wallet for gift card money... empty! :confused3 Who knew?

 I guess I need a second job... Beth, can I join you???

:lmao:

Hey Cristobel,

If I go, you can so totally share my room...and Stacie's. I like the idea of the clown car analogy!!! I already have big enough feet for the clown shoes!!!!

Cool. I am already making plans of who I am sleeping...er....rooming with..and I haven't even made the proposal to the family about going again right after a trip to Ohio!!!

Oh, golly, live dangerously,huh? Amy

I've been a part of a clown car hotel. Well we went as a big group and it was on us three girls, so we squeezed into a double. The boys on the other hand, had six in their room. Three of them shared a bed (no doubt hating their lives) two on the floor and one in the bathtub! But of course we didn't tell the hotel we had so many people:tiptoe: We just snuck in

I'm catching on. ;)

:lmao:
Join me?? Where? Walking the Strip?? :rotfl2: Sure, but if any Richard Gere types pull up in a hot sports car, hands off missy!

Don't you have some packing to do? :smooth:

:rolleyes1

:rotfl: Yes, but the dryer is refusing to dry my clothes and it's really annoying. I've already put my best hooker shoes in the car, so I guess I don't really need anything else.

Ugh, some people need to lighten up and get a sense of humor and get off their high horse. And no this isn't directed at anyone of you here. I know all you guys are nuts!! :rolleyes1 LOL
It's from another thread that I just need to stay away from or I will end up with points. I just had to get that off my chest.

I'm fine now. Carry on. :)

Well, other then the red polish, I'd say you're all set!! :thumbsup2

Uh-oh, do I have to take care of some people for you? I have a pair of pointy boots that I'm sure can go way up someone's you-know-what. I don't really care for people that take themselves too seriously, it must be so boring to be them. Some people are just so closed minded.

Well I just finished off my Ben & Jerry's Oatmeal Cookie Chunk, and I'm tired of waiting for laundry to dry, so I guess my whites are just going to chill in the dryer this weekend. Oh well.

I'm off for what I'm sure will be an exciting 2 hour drive, my friend hates my driving, especially on the way to Tahoe :lmao: She pretty much looks like this the whole way: :scared:

Have a great weekend everyone!

Have a great time, enjoy your trip, be safe and we'll see you soon. :)

Got another part of my trip report posted! Go me!

Wendylady36- I have to agree....if your hooker shoes are packed, I will say you are all set. If you work them right, you don't even need to hit the ATM first.

:scared1: Beth, are you on the community board again??

(psst: okay, who needs to lighten up, where? Point me to that entertaining thread!)
