Well, it's Monday again!! I hope you all have a good day.

Each day brings us closer to our mini meet!!!!! I can't wait to be at Disney again and forget about some of this other crap for awhile.

Me too Beth!! I'm really looking forward to meeting you all in person finally!! I don't know about you guys, but I'm hoping we have nice crisp weather for the trip! We are just now starting to get the crisp mornings here in Kansas City, and I absolutley love it!!!

I'm actually hoping for crisp mornings, with afternoons warm enough to ride Splash Mountain, then cooler evenings!! I have a cool Jack Skellington sweatshirt I got at the Disney Store two years ago, and I want to be able to wear it at night!!

Hi all! Been kinda busy here. Riley's b-day is Thursday. My baby boy will be 12. It's still just so hard to believe!
Send me good thoughts. I send in my responses to a 22 question employment screening today. It's step two for a position I'm really interested in, and have my fingers crossed. Not only am I very excited about the prospect of working again, the money is really needed right now!
Oh, and as far as temperature goes, I tend toward liking the warm to hot, as I'm such a cold blooded person, I'm always freezing when others are comfortable.

Hi ladies ! i am just finding this thread, but I may want to join you for a day or two. I am a DLR newbie, though!! I have been to WDW several times and am a DVCer as well. However, I just found out that in March, Dh has a work trip out to Palm Desert and that it's "only" about 2 hours from DL. Well, that means I just HAVE to visit!! And so I am now trying to find out everything I can in only 5 months!! Dh's conference has him spending all of his days there pretty much, with no spare time really. But, he wants me to go from now on and since we don't go much without the kids, I am so going on his trips from now on!! So, this conference is from March 7-12. We'll probably fly in on the 6th and out on the 13th. It's a pretty long flight with layovers from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! I see your meet ends on the 9th. Do you have any itinerary or anything? I know I can do the 9th, but maybe the 8th as well. Not sure yet, but wanting to see what you ladies are planning. I wouldn't need a hotel as I'll just drive in. Thanks for the info- I just can't read through all of those pages! LOL

We'd love to have you join us!! We have several ladies who are doing the day trip thing for part of the time, so that's no problem at all.

We will have to nickname her skinny-minnie . F-O-R-T-Y big ones! What is your secret? I for one am very very proud (and jealous ) of your accomplishment. I would think you are at your goal? So I know Beth has mentioned wanting to do BB. I wouldn't mind trying the cookie boat there. Last time I ate there I didn't care for the food but this dessert sounds delish! Where are we all wanting to eat? Any ideas for some meal meets?

Although I didn't find the food quality at BB worthy of the price I'm definitely in if Beth wants to do it. She worked so hard putting our meet together and in the end couldn't even enjoy it.

I want to do a character meal! The only time I've done that was in WDW 2 years ago!

I, too, would like to do a character meal. I'd prefer breakfast/brunch to dinner, but I'm open.
I really enjoyed BB. Katie and I shared the braised beef? lunch and it was great. I also really liked it for the ambiance and it's somewhere I wouldn't go with the whole family, too expensive.

Awww, shucks. Thank you. It's nice to hear that. It's so dang hard to lose weight, and so easy to gain. LOL No real secrets though. Just eating less and moving more.
I am no where near my goal though. (I forgot you didn't see me in April! lol) I've got about another 65 pounds to go. Slowly, but surely.

I would love to eat there. I am not at all thrilled with the menu. Not even sure what I'd order to be honest. But I can't eat there with my family, can you imagine the bill for a party of SIX???? So that's why I want to do it in March.
Plus the atmosphere just seems so cool.

Awww, that's sweet of you. But if you don't want to eat there, please don't feel as though you have to. We can plan it for one of the days like we did last time and then whomever is interested can sign up for it.

I want to do a character meal too!!! I've only ever done Lilo and Stitch and we LOVED it! I know when we talked about it on the thread before, everyone was all for it, so that's actually the only thing I've got on the list so far. LOL

But I'm open for any of the character meals really. As long as we do one with as many of the ladies as we can get.
