White shirt (And I'm still deciding on shirt style)

I noticed that too. The weird thing is some of the larger sizes, for example 2x, in some styles was actually smaller than an XL in other styles. So I looked at the measurements instead. The one in the picture I posted is actually a "ladies casual scoop" and not the baby doll. It is similar in style but is a looser cut and had a larger chest width. The chest is an issue for me, and some of those shirts would have been much too small for "the girls" even in the larger sizes.

I guess I need to pay more attention to the measurements then. I think I'll still hold off on ordering though. With two months left, I'm hoping (praying?) I can lose a little bit more weight.

Jen, that sounds good to me. We all liked the Melanie font, and that color works so I'll add that info to the front page under the t-shirt post. And the tee styles don't have to be the same anyway, just white.

I can't believe Christmas break is over already!
Back to school on Monday. Yuck! I really enjoyed hanging out with the kids and am dreading the early mornings and homework again. Hey, I sound just like they do.

I like Melanie too. The other ones are a little fancier and they look nice, but I think the DIS is hard to read because the I is so fancy. With Melanie it seems easier to read that part.

Also, I tried the font color that is 4 up and 4 in from the right and it makes it look less brown and more green. When you zoom in it seems to match the outline of the tink better. I used a 10 size font. If I can figure out how to attach the pic I will but I am pic posting challenged.

OK, I just ordered this shirt in a medium. I usually get a large or even extra large, but I was following the size guidelines and it seemed medium would fit. So, I'll let you all know how large these shirts are or are not when I get mine.

My total with shipping came to just under $20.


So, it's time for me to leave the cabin in Truckee. Just need to finish up cleaning the house and then we'll be on the road back to the Bay Area. What a fun day It's been great up here the last 7 days, but I'm ready to get home.

Hey all! I work for one day, and miss several pages of t-shirt discussion.

Why don't you all get the font and color and shirt you all want? I've already spent money on a new t-shirt and the transfers, so I'm still using the original image posted. I can't afford to do both. So even if all of you match, I'm not going to!

Just my thought on the discussion. Those that order from Zazzle will still look different from those of us that do the iron transfers (which it sounds like will be the minority!). Also, if I went with Zazzle, I would have to get an ugly man T. If I do it myself, I can have a nice woman's t that I know will fit. I'm really glad that Zazzl ethinks all women are of average size. It gets to me sometimes. Oh well, they just lose my business.

Morning everyone. Well I just ordered or I should say RE-ordered my shirt again as well LOL. I ordered the fitted long sleeve in an XL. I ordered a L last time but I decided since everyone said they ran small that I would get the XL. I don't mind if they are a little big but too small sucks. I think I did it right at least it looked right in the picture .

Mine came to 15 something but with shipping it was 25 something even with the discount. But that's fine. I don't mind paying the extra cuz I KNOW if I had to make it myself I would have screwed it up.

Anyway we are about to run our loop here in a minute. Have to run out and go to the grocery store and to the pharmacy to pick up my meds. I really waited till the last minute on this one but with the holidays it kind of messed things up. On my one scrip I only have one pill left. OOPS! LOL.

But then we have to pick up Katy's cake and go feed my parents cats and then come home and we are leaving around 12:45 to go out to the bowling place. It shall be interesting to see who shows up. I only had a few kids rsvp but I am sure it will be fun none the less. Yesterday we just hung out and vegged and it was a nice day. Then tonight we will come home and just relax and kick back and then Shane has to work again tomorrow. And then as Beth said it is all back to normal on Monday.

Kids are back to school and I am back on the old diet wagon. So everything is back to normal. I was supoosed to have my surgery class but I am glad that is postponed cuz I want to start my diet! Now I can!

Anyway I better run get dressed. Hope everyone has a good day today!

I order both the casual scoop short sleeve and the ladies long sleeve, so I will be covered for the weather. I figure even if it is cold I can layer something under the short sleeve and will have a shirt for 2 days. With the discount, and by adjusting the shipping (it will default to a quicker option and changing to the longer one saved a little over a dollar) it came to $35 and change for both with shipping. Not bad. Now I'm getting excited!!

What are we supposed to do about lanyards??

I hear ya on the sizing at Zazzle.
As for matching, I think they will still match. The wording is the same, so is the image. The font is really close and so is the color. In pics, I bet you won't be able to tell who made one and who ordered.
Oh, and I know there are several who are making their tees still so don't worry, you are not in the minority at all.

Can I jump on board the getting fit wagon? I have decided to start daily walks again, and while I do have a tredmill I like to download on Itunes dis podcasts and head outdoors to destress and build up stamina for the commando that is rapidly comming lol. Christmas break here ends Jan 14th. Kids don't get out for break till Dec 19th but Hawaii is year round, so the breaks are weird and always changing.

It worked for me multiple times (I kept playing with shirts before I ordered) and here is what I did:

Click on the link Beth posted on page 1.
You will see a page of the tink images, choose the one to design a shirt.
This will open a new page and show a man in the shirt. To the right of the image is an option that says something like "select a different shirt style"
Click on that and choose your shirt.
Once you get the shirt you want, click the link to the right bottom of the image that says something like "add text to your design".
That will open a new box with text options.
I first typed the text, then picked the font size, color and style.
After that is done, click on the image and it will give you a zoomed view where you can click on the text and/or image ane move them until it looks like you want it to.

Then click "add to cart".
On the cart page, there is a link towards the bottom of your cart that says "create another shirt" or something. If you click this, it will open the shirt options with your created design and text already there so you only need to pick the style of shirt you want and click "add to cart"

He'll incorporate the Tink image we are using on our shirts somehow and it will have your real name along with your screenname. I'm thinking we ought to stick with the same pink lanyards we used last year, and just replace the pastic sleeve portion. That way the returning ladies can re-use their lanyards from last year, and I can just order the same lanyards for the newbies.

Dh is SUPER busy right now, but I'll get him to come up with the design as soon as I can.

I am so pathetic. I miss the rain so much that I am actually listening to a youtube recording of rain falling during a storm. I have the window open so it's nice and cold in here, and the blinds shut tight to block out as much of the annoying sun as possible. Then the volume is up loud so it's almost like the real thing.
