Ok I just CALLED Zazzle and here is the deal. Because she copied it off the website that is what cancelled the copyright. We can still make the shirts but you have to take the image directly OFF the zazzle site. SOOO I can make the shirt but I have to do it from scratch. SOOO I need to know what the font is that the gal made the lettering. So beth if you can get the info or get me in touch with the gal that made the orig design that would be great. I can recreat the shirt on zazzle but I have to do it from scratch.

You go to the tink on the site and you click on it and then it puts it on the shirt and then you re-type our words. She also said if there were several of us that wanted to order you get a discount for bulk but then that means one order so that might get complicated with having to pay people back and on and on. But anyway THAT is how it needs to be done. So if I can get what the type is I can re-order my shirt now that I know how to do it.

So we are BACK on for zazzle it is just a bit more complicated cuz you have to create it from scratch. You just can't cut and paste.

Does that make sense?

What timing! I just got the iron on transfers from HP (not only are they 50% off but they have free overnight shipping!). I will report back in about 30 minutes how they worked. I found a great description of how to use them as a review on amazon. Wish me luck! If all goes well, then I'll open up my iron on transfer store! :thumbsup2

Heather

wow that was fast delivery.
good luck, Heather!:thumbsup2

:rotfl: Bad MoNkEy!

Get back to your IroninG!:wizard: I'm hoping you will report back that it was easey peasey!

Hi! I just wanted to share this info I found on the Creative DISigns thread.

What type transfer paper should I use?

There are two basic types of transfer paper – one for light shirts and one for dark shirts.

• The Light transfer paper is translucent and the color of the shirt will show through the transfer paper

• The Dark transfer paper is white and any part you do not cut away will show up on the shirt as white.

• There is no consensus on which brand of paper to use – although Avery and HP seem to be the most consistent choices.

• Some recommend using the dark transfer paper regardless of the shirt color as the colors seem more vibrant

Do you have any tips on ironing the transfer?

These are tips for transferring that people have suggested .But directions on different brands of transfer paper vary so be sure to read and follow the manufactures directions!

You MUST prewash your shirts before transferring

Prewash ANY fabric before using transfers. It removes sizing or starch applied by the manufacture.

Do NOT add fabric softener or bleach when prewashing.

Do NOT add fabric softener sheets when drying.

• Print a Preview ... always, always print a preview copy of your image before printing it on the (expensive) transfer paper. Do this to insure that colors print correctly, that your image doesn't fall into your printer's no-print zone along the margins, and to see what size your design will be (sometimes the on-screen view can be deceiving).

• Flip Image if the directions call for it don't forget to flip or mirror your image. This is especially critical if you have text in your design. The text should be backwards on screen or on the print out. (Another good reason to print a preview copy first!)

• Use the Right Side of the Paper ...Transfer paper has stripes or a grid on the non-printing side. Be sure to put the paper in your printer so that it prints on the clean white side.

• White Does Not Print... In designing your artwork remember that WHITE does not print. The fabric will show through any parts of the design that are white. For example, if you print a white ghost on plaid fabric — you'll get a plaid ghost! Plan your design accordingly. As with any desktop publishing project, consider the background color when selecting colors for your designs.

• Test on Scrap Fabric Test... your design on “scratch fabric” before applying it to your final T-shirt or other fabric. Some types of fabric may require more ironing (heat) than others or may not show off your design as well as you expected.

• Use Lots of Heat... Use your iron's hottest setting but no steam. It takes a lot of heat to transfer the image evenly and completely to the fabric. Peel off the paper while it is still hot.

• Use a Hard Surface... The reason transfer instructions specify a hard surface (such as formica) is because it holds the heat. Ironing boards tend to disperse the heat and the transfer paper needs to be very hot to work properly.

I hope the Zazzle thing works out! I really want to not have to bother messing up the iron on transfer lol.

I just got done with my holidays! It was busy busy busy! We went to the in laws in northern california before christmas, then back here to OC for a night before going to Las Vegas to visit with my family. I'm so glad to be back home, but I cannot even get the energy up to unpack everything! Ugh!

OK....can't find my iron! I really don't think DH was ironing, so I'll have to find out what he did with it. I remeber him 'organizing' the laundry area last month....:headache:

I need to rewash my shirt though...I hadn't thought about the fabric softener, but can see why that would mess it up. I'm going to plan on doing it tomorrow now. DH will have to give me my iron back tonight!

First of all my condolences and prayers to Melody. It is so very hard to lose someone and ESP during the holidays.

EVERYONE WHO WANTED TO DO ZAZZLE URGENT NOTICE!!!!

We cannot use them. I just ordered my shirt and they cancelled my order!

Apparently the Tink is copyrighted and we cannot use them. I am SOOOO bummed.

I ordered my shirt yesterday and they cancelled my order and refunded my money. NOW what am I going to do! :( I SOOO did not want to have to do the transfer. UGH! Is there anyone that is good at it that I can pay to make me a shirt? I seriously would PAY someone to make mine cuz I am SO not good at this stuff! I so wanted to just buy one and now I can't.

I couldn't believe when Zazzle cancelled my order but before anyone else attempts it I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Beth you might want to let everyone know this before anyone else tries. Thanks. It looks like now we are going to be forced to make our shirts. :(

I think the issue is that you mentioned you copied the one from the Dis and pasted it there. If you had just used the one on their site and added your own words, there would be no issue. Zazzle does do Disney t-shirts as long as you use the pictures they have on the Zazzle website, not using your own Disney pictures (or the one you copied from this site).

EDIT - Oops - just read ahead and see you figured it out!

Sounds ok to me, but I was thinking we could all pitch in and just get our own van. That way, we would have a direct delivery. I'm not an expert about this though, and wonder how much that would all cost.

The Super Shuttle is $8 each way, with the Ent. card discount; we were the first ones dropped off last time. We left Phoenix at 6:30am and were in Disneyland by 8:30am or so; it was VERY fast!! The group rate is $67 for up to 9 people, it would be cheaper for up to 8 people to do it separately. Callie, her friend Ellen, and I had absolutely no problems with them; we paid ahead of time online.

I've done the iron-on transfers before, it's really easy, but if someone doesn't want to do theirs I would be more than happy to do it.

The WIWF Tour can not be booked until 30 days out. I thought it was 60, but alas, it is not. I did ask about the cancellation policy and was told there is none. Once we book, we are committed. So everyone who wants to do it, please be sure as I will pay with my CC and ask you to mail me a check. Just keeping everyone in the loop - I'll be getting confirmations from everyone in about 30 days. Thanks!:)

Miss Linda,

Just pm me a mailing address and I'll send the money for both my mother and myself to go on the tour. I'd like to go ahead and pay for it so that it's all taken care of on my end.:goodvibes As i have two trips coming up {late jan and mid feb.} and anything i can do to prepare for this one helps.

Thank You!:flower3:

Linda ~ I thought for sure it was 60 days. Obviously I was wrong. Sorry about that! Guess it's just the VIP Tour and the dining that can be booked earlier. Thanks for calling. That's what I thought about the cancellation policy though. So since there is no cancellation I think it might be a good idea to go ahead and have everyone confirm now anyways and pay upfront so you don't get stuck paying for anyone.

Stacie ~ Is your Segway tour the same way? Book at 30 days and no cancellations? Do you know or shall I call? If so, you might want to have the money upfront too. I'd hate for anyone making the call to get stuck if someone cancels or is a no show. (odds are that won't happen, but just to be safe)

Sarah ~ Thank you for posting all that information on the transfers.

Kelly ~ I get it now! LOL It never even occured to me about copy and paste. I thought you had ordered from their website and couldn't understand why they wouldn't let you place an order with their own image!! :rotfl:
I'll PM the lady who did the Tink wording and see what she used.

OK, I've got a PM off to Joanna (everydaymathchick) to see what font design, color, size, etc she used. So as soon as I hear from her, I'll let y'all know so those who want to order a tee can do so.

I tried calling Disneyland Tours to find out if the Segway Tour can be cancelled or not but the line was busy. I'll try again later. It can't be booked until a month out either though.

Mainly what we'll be booking soon will be the meals. Those are easy enough with the exception of Carnation Cafe. I have 26 people signed up for that, so we are going to need several ladies to call and place reservations for Friday @ 5 p.m.
So far I have myself, Mary Jo, Steph and Debra who have agreed to call and make some reservations for that. I will need more though since I think the maximum each person can reserve is a table for 6. Anyone else willing to make a call?

On the plus side, my dishes, vacuuming, and laundry are done. And I have my house back! All Christmas stuff is packed up and put back in the garage. And I have a few items (horns, noise makers, hat, etc) ready to be brought out for New Years.

So for the shirts it's a white tee right? I think I'm going to get a white hoodie too cuz I know I'll get cold in the evening and I don't want to cover up the shirt.

Yes, a white tee. Any style.

I sure hope we get the chance for cool weather this time after how hot it was before!!

It's funny, I don't remember it being hot. :rotfl:

OMG, how could you forget? :rotfl2: I know it was really hot the day I was there, and it was supposed to be even worse the day after. I remember being with Callie, her friend Ellen and a few others in the Bug's Land area waiting for the water to be turned on and there was nothing. Barely a puddle to try and splash around in. :rotfl:
So I'm hoping for cool temps and low crowds! :wizard: (hey, I can hope right....lol)
