Girls Only Trip (old thread, link to new thread in first post)

I just thought it might be easy way to keep track of someone if we needed too. Say I needed to see if Wendy was still going to meet up with us for a meal/ride/show and I can't get through her cell, I can call you instead and see if you know what's up with her. We did stuff like that at cheer camp. So it was just a thought.

Also, we can tell who the popular kids are J/K!

Hey, I was thinking that maybe we could post somewhere on the first page who is rooming with whom. And have it listed so that if someone wants to ask to join another, they can see who may have room and what not.

If the groups want to have more room with them they can leave the slots opened, if not, just list the few they have and then don't list anymore open numbers. Instead of 1, 2, 3, 4.......they just list 1, 2, 3. Or so forth. Or if they are rooming with friends or family. Just so everyone can have an idea of who is with who. Might also be an easy way to get an idea of how many rooms we will have. Can also track people so those going solo don't get so lost.

Just an idea.

Speaking of which, I am bringing a friend, if you want to update the list. Her name is Terri. She is my friend from JR. High School. I just did the math and that makes about 30 years that we have been friends. We don't see each other very often, but she's the sort of friend that I can call and say, hey, I am going on this trip, do you want to go, and then when we do, it is like we see each other every day. Once in a lifetime sort of friend. Oh, I have a few others that have been around for 10 or even 15 years, but no one else has made it 30.

If anyone drops off the VIP tour, I know she would want to do it too. She should be added to carnation cafe.

I will be there for Pizza for sure, but don't know her arrival schedule yet.

I also love the Tink Shirt, and feel confident that I will be able to get that made, one way or the other.

Ok so what happens if you suck at computers AND crafts LOL. See I have to be able to print the iron on right AND then get it on the shirt right? PUHLEEZE! Mine is going to look like a 2 year old did it but don't say I didn't warn you! Like I said I like to BUY stuff I tell you BUY stuff! I am SOOO not crafty. When Shane was in Iraq I tried to make a scrapbook for him but it was oh so lame. All these other scrapbookers have all these little hooliegigs and whatsits and mine just had a bunch of pics printed on computer paper pasted in a book with little captions that I printed and cut out and pasted underneath. LAME!!!!!!!!!!

But hey I tried! Plus I have NOOOOO patience at all. I start something and then get frustrated and throw it in the lake! Did I say I have NO patience? That is why I give the teachers at the school SO much credit cuz when we go in and they have to read with the kids I just want to grab the book or the project and just do it. I know I know I am BAAAAAD. Did I say I was type A. Are you figuring it out. Are you scared of me now? Really I am not an axe murderer I promise just have no patience. I would rather just go out and buy stuff. Like when we have the parties at work or (WHEN they had them at school for my older daughter, younger kids never got any) I always just bought treats, don't ask me to cook anything shnoway!

Now i'm off to find a soft buttery oatmeal raisin cookie recipe to take on our road trip for thanksgiving at my grandmothers.

and i'm looking for a soft Sweet molasses cookie recipe.

I am not very crafty either...I am pretty good on the computer, but crafty not so much!!

Hi Ruth! I think it will make it a lot easier on those who are concerned about doing the ironing. Without borders it's less obvious if it's a little crooked.
