I already have requested Friday, March 6th off as a vacation day at work, have made ressies at Hojo's for Thurs-Sunday. So, YES, YES, YES I will be at the pizza party! And DD will likely be there, too. I vote for a local place like Papa John's or RoundTable. Or maybe we should just ask Lorealle what her favorite place is that delivers. And salad is a must. I love salad:lovestruc .

I think I will pass on CC, it is really tiny in there and to me not condusive to large groups. Anyway, if a group wants to eat at WCT or somewhere in DTD, I'm in.:thumbsup2

Oh, and BTW, I am heading to the Grand for Sat-Sun-Mon, my birthday is November 1st. We are eating at Napa Rose on Sat, Ariels Princess lunch on Sunday and The Cove Bar Sunday night! I have wanted to try the Lobster Nachos and Calamari with a fruity rum drink FOREVER and I am finally doing it!!! So, I will report back on the experience next week.;)

Oh my gosh. Don't know how I will fit all of that eating in just 3 short days! But count me in, as I will give it 150%!

So, for those of you that are flying in, I have created a thread on the transportation page, so that we can perhaps organize ourselves and do a bit of ride sharing.

Mmmm, much better. I'll take the Hawaiian one, bottom center. I love me some pineapple on my pizza! My favorite pizza is BBQ Chicken from CA Pizza Kitchen -- yummers!

And you do know I was kidding about the original pic, right? I don't want FairyKin or any other new ladies thinking I'm picking on you. Cause I'm not like that at all. Really, I'm not.

You are like DD Christine, she loves pineapple on her pizza! I just don't think pizza should have anything sweet on it. Like Beth, I could eat pizza every day and never get tired of it, but no SWEET stuff on it! Same with cottage cheese, who ever thought of putting it with fruit! GROSS!!!

Good grief that posted twice! Sorry 'bout that.

Are any ladies interested in going to the Cove Bar for lobster nachos and drinks while we are there? I have heard a lot about this place, but have never spent any grown up time there.

Carnation will work as long as we make ressies the first day they are available and have several different ladies make them. We won't be seated together, but we'll fill the place for sure! ;)

Cove Bar sounds good, as long as I don't have to eat the lobster; I checked the menu on Allears and think I would prefer the wings, and either a margarita or a sweet Riesling. Or maybe even just a beer!! Who knows, maybe I'll have one of each. Oh, Cheryl, I think that means I'm a lush, too!!

Hey Mel, :)

I've played MouseAdventure with Lesley (Tink33), Chris (Califgirl), and my daughter Kelly (Daisuke) four times (or is it five? lol). It's like a detective scavenger hunt that's lots of fun.

Cheryl (Toocherie) has also played, but on a different team.
So how long do they take?

Would this be a fun thing to do for the ladies trip? Is it kind of involved?

Add me in as not loving sweets on my pizza. Yuck! Besides, I'm allergic to pineapple, so not Hawaiian pizzas for me. But I could eat pizza everyday for every meal at every temp and not get tired of it.

My family and I will be there this weekend too, although we will be staying at Hojo not the GCH. Hopefully we will run into one another on Saturday or Sunday, although all signs are pointing to a very, very crowded and busy weekend at the 'Land!

I know what you look like from your avatar, so I will be on the lookout for you.

Here is a picture of us from the last trip, so that you can be on the hunt for us too!

My hair is a couple inches shorter now. Also, we are going to the MTOTP on Friday night and we are going as Lilo, Stitch and Cobra Bubbles, so as of Friday DH will have a shaved head.

Hope to see you there and that you have a wonderful birthday!

WCT as a back-up works for me....we could also do a meal in Downtown Disney for those that aren't going in the park on Saturday

steph
Do we have any who are sitting Saturday out? I know this time the Deluxe AP doesn't have any black out days, but do we have some with the SoCal APs?

OK, I'll add you both to the pizza party list.

Would you be up for WCT on Sunday for lunch? We don't have any planned meals that day. I'd like to eat there again if anyone else is game.

Oh, and before I forget, have fun on your birthday weekend!!

Cool. I'll add the link to the front page. Thanks!

I don't like pineapple on my pizza either. In fact, the only thing pineapple I like is a Dole Whip. LOL
My DD likes her cottage cheese with pears. :scared:

Not sure if you guys saw this, but if you do one, I'd be happy to put up some of the prizes. Just let me know.

You know, I've never done WCT. I wanted to do it on this past trip, but it wasn't really in the ol' budget. If we decide to go in March I would love to go! The food pics I've seen posted from there on the food thread always make my mouth water. I'm really big on pastas, yum yum.

WCT is a fun little place and I would be up for it along with/or instead of CC. I had the meatball sandwich the last time we went, which was just okay. But, my DH had an amazing chicken alfredo spinach lasagna. It was one of those meals where I sat there and definitely spent the meal feeling as though I had made the wrong choice. However, the blood orange sorbet that is served in an actual frozen whole orange totally made up for the fact that my sammie was just okay!

Also, please count me in for the pizza on Thursday night.

What a cute pic!! OMG, your little guy is just adorable! :goodvibes

Thanks! Ty is a Disney boy through and through. He is fascinated by the characters and not afraid of anything at the parks(yet). He loves the carrousel, dumbo, peter pan, and casey junior, of course. But, he also thinks the Tiki room, TSMM, Buzz and Nemo and pretty much every other ride and show that we have taken him on are great too. I really need our mini vacay this weekend and it will be fun to take him to the MTOTP on Friday night, as it is the one year anniversary of his first Disney trip way back when he was only 7 weeks old!

Cool!! Why don't we plan this for Sunday? An early lunch?

Last time I was there I ordered the:
Chicken Alfredo Lasagna - Layers of tender pasta, citrus marinated chicken, spinach and Italian cheeses with a creamy Alfredo sauce $12.79

Sooooo good! And everyone else said they loved their meal that day as well.

I think we are still going to try to get CC for Friday night. We'll see how that goes. If it works, fine. We'll do WCT on Sunday. If not, maybe we can switch WCT to Friday night.

Ahhh, this should be fun trying to make it all work!! :lmao: Is there a hair pulling smilie???

I'll add you for the pizza party!

No worries. It will all work out. And if not, we will still have a great time.

Sometimes I feel like I'm always the one talking about food for this trip! :lmao: And I guess I am, but that's only because I am always the one cooking for my family. Four VERY picky kids.

So when I go to Disney it's so nice to be pampered and have someone else wait on me and cook my food for a change. Plus no dishes to wash! And I like socializing during the meal too. I always have fun doing that.

I know some people think of the sit down meals as a waste of park time, and that's cool. We don't all have to do them or all of them. But for me, it's a break I totally look forward to. :cloud9: (Is there a feet up, relaxing smilie?? LOL)

Heck yeah we will!!

Oh, I watched The Strangers. It was good. Nothing graphic. They basically mess with these people's minds all night long before offing them. It's one of those movies you have to use your imagination because it's not all played out for you to see.
We watched in late at night which is the only time I can watch scary movies. Adds to the whole experience. :thumbsup2

Please sign me up for WCT on Sunday. Thanks

OK. Maybe we can keep WCT on Sunday no matter what. And if CC works out, great. If not, why not just meet up at a counter service place that night? :confused3

Maybe I am overthinking this and need to go to bed before I give myself and everyone else, a headache! :lmao:

Roundtable is REALLY good. If we're looking for a more cost effective place we could do the 5-5-5 deal because if we order more than than three pizzas they are still $5.

It IS a fun thing to do, and we can make it as long as we want, depending on the challenges. Chris has experience making these up for friends. We can ask her about it.

Riverbelle Terrace is a good place to meet up. Then people can either order from there, or grab some food at different places, depending on what they like. There is a lot of space there.

O table sounds good to me, too. :) But then, I'm easy. ha ha
