we'll name the peach ones after her--next year I'm using vanilla vodka--even yummier! and we can have jello shots this weekend if you would rather have those than the Margaritas out of the Margaritaville margarita machine that crushes ice and blends them all by its lonesome!

Hmm...I think they are both the same! But Aunt Flo is much worse. She was gone for almost 9 years and then due to girl issues, she is back now. I did not MISS her at ALL!!

Aunt Flo just likes to screw with me--she'll go away for like a year, and then all of sudden show up like she was never mad.

I wish I could mix up a potion to bring *just* the right man to wendy and cheryL.. hhmmm... like in that movie Practical Magic... have any of you seen that?

Well after all this time i've been waiting for the twinikins.. they aren't coming.. and i've had their lunch ready since 12..

I went to a law of attraction seminar a couple of weeks ago--no--it was not a dating seminar!! it's about attracting the things or people into your life that you really want--and to be really careful about sending messages to the universe--because you'll get what you hope for (that's how I ended up with ex-DBF, or and ex-ex-DBF too for that matter). So I'm being REALLY CAREFUL to be specific about what I want (like that he has a job he actually likes, gets along with his family, has friends from childhood/college, likes pets (that one just torpedoed a possibility), and a host of other things)

and what was for lunch . . . you'll just have to eat both lunches now--and why aren't they coming?

oohhh... it's hard when your first one graduates.. then when all your kids are grown and gone.. it's reallly super hard. Empty Nest takes ALOT of learning. I will say this thread has been really great for me, i've gotten to do so many fun things.

My friend did that 2 wks ago, I get to do that next year with Jordan. Crazy how time flies. Last wk was Jazzys bday, I was like I remember the day you were born. Mostly because of her crazy step gma...the woman was wearing neon green spandex, a purple shirt, BLUE eyshadow...we still joke about that...

Sounds like everyone has been having fun chatting! Wendy sorry that you are sick! I hope you feel better by this weekend cuz I know how much it sicks when you are sick and have something, esp a Disney trip etc.

I went out to my apt and it was nice. I hadn't seen my therapist in almost a month and we had a nice chat. Then I met mom for lunch at Marie Calendars and we split a shrimp pasta dish. Unlike a lot of you I LOVE seafood!! YUM!!! So to me it was YUMMY! She is still bound and determined to do this cruise thing and we at first looked at a carribean one, then one that left out of Houston that went to the gulf of Mexico and now we are looking at one that goes to the Mexican Riviera. I really didn't want to go to that part as I have been there a few times and my mom owns a place with 5 other people in Puerto Vallarta but the more I think about it that would probably be our best option as far as making it all fit. It would be the quickest flight and we can't really go till after swim team ends so we are just going to have to see how it all shakes out. But if we go on this one it leaves out of Long Beach and goes to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo. Your typical Mexican Riveria 7 day cruise. I def didn't want to do a 4 day ensenada one cuz that doesn't interest me at all. And someday I would love to do the carribean but the airfare alone to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale is the killer from CA. Then adding the cruise on top is what makes it tough.

But anyway if she gets all these deals like she thinks she is going to get it may work out.

One thing I don't get is the guy on the phone claims the girls don't need passports for cruises only air travel which I just don't believe. He said under 16 they don't but I SWORE that they changed that so I am going to have to call.

I don't want to believe him and then get messed up. I know when I took them to canada years ago they didn't but I thought that all changed.

Anyway another freaky thing that happened today was after lunch I went to pickup shelby's birthday gift and I got an automated call from the school and the girls were on lockdown because there was some kind of incident in the area with the cops. They said we were not allowed in the area and could NOT pick them up till they called us. That was freaky. They have those drills all the time but this was the first REAL lockdown. I am sure the kids are going to be talking a mile a minute about it when I pick them up.

They had star testing this week so I am sure it was really hard for them to even concentrate. I am wondering if the teachers even told them or how they handled it.

I know the cops had the person surrounded and they were worried about this "suspect" getting into the school grounds etc.

Anyway gotta run. Talk later.

Hi Dawn! I am starting to feel much better after battling the flu since early yesterday morning. I haven't eaten any solid food since dinner with Amy and Beth on Monday night and only started drinking water again late last night, so why is it that I suddenly want a Margarita?

For the next trip 1st of all I want to be there for the meet and greet night. Hopefully my mom and I can both get the day off work so we can make it. I think I want to try the Segway Tour and I want to do a Character Meal.

DBF and I might be going on a cruise next month. They told us as long as we depart and arrive in the same US port we don't need passports. We are just going to do the 4 day (Thursday-Sunday) out of San Diego to Ensenada and back.
