Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Heather and I are willing to take a couple of roomies... Any takers? Especially if we get a bigger room/suite. Connecting rooms would be fun, too!!

Sooo, if ya'll are so positive that I will be coming next year (even though I swear I'm not), how come my roomies are giving away my sleepin spot? :confused3

j/k

I'm sure they've just moved you over a bit.......like to the balcony. ;)

BigHugTaCKLeHug for Stacie.. HoLa ChiCa.. hhmmm... i was thinking more along the lines of a guy that could ride his horse backwards!

;)

Yeah she is great :). I don't mind sharing a bed or sleeping on a rollaway or sleeping on an air mattress. I'm pretty easy going ;).

That's what I heard. :rotfl:

Yeah they would. More people and more space too.

Stacie~ I wouldn't mind rooming with you and Heather . I just need to room with someone to save costs.

Already jumping ship? Is it the snoring?

If I get to go I will room with you! (We are talking about the 2010 trip, right? Are there suites at the HOJO or are you staying on site?)

Sarah

Yep, there are suites at Hojo.

I will be looking for a roomie.....do you take DIS DIVA newbies? :)

We were all newbies once. We will make sure you get a roomie.

Very flattered over here. I'm flexible. It'd be great if we can get the connecting rooms. I can picture how the late night talks will go now....:lmao:

steph

So you gonna rub my feet this time? :yay:

Your sleepin spot is safe....no one has called under the sink yet.

Well I am glad everyone is thinking about roomies this early. Will make it much easier when we start booking.

Of those who said they wanted roomies....did any of you have preferences as to sharing a bed or not? And air mattresses or roll aways? Makes a difference.

We'll get a Pirate Suite, you can have the couch! :thumbsup2

I'm back! I can not wait until my children are strong enough to get everywhere on there own power. They will walk a little, but tire easily, and I have to hold their hands the whole time.

I think my exchange person is going to love what I got her. She better!

Nathan loved the music therapy, he smiled the whole time. He still hates to be sung to, but he loved the big drum, piano, and guitar she had. She was great, she had so many activities, and really kept him busy. He was a little hyper though since there was so much new stuff to see and do. I think he's really going to enjoy it, and price wise, it's the most reasonable therapy I've found so far! ST is $85 an hour, but this is only $36 an hour. Nolan really enjoyed it also. We had a good day.

I need to go back and see what I missed while I was gone, but I'm hungry and I promised to kick Stacies boo-tay at Mario Cart in a little bit. Anyone want to join us?

Heather

I think my problem is I am too picky.
I think I am just not over John.
I could have this really great guy, farmer boy, but I just don't want to go down that road again. I would feel like I am settling KWIM? Too many things that has happened.
I started talking to my friend Jeremy again. He is super nice.

I was picky too and it FINALLY paid off...I almost settled right before I met Mr. CA. I didn't realize at the time that I would have been settling but after meeting Mr. CA I would have been settling. Don't settle...the one will come along when you are least expecting it. :) Funny you talk about a farmer boy because I grew up on a farm. Do you live in an agricultural area? We grew potatoes and barley for Coors.

I always say.. you live many lifes in one lifetime. Think about the very different individual with different views and beliefs that you have been at varied ages in your life. Who knows who we yet may be.:goodvibes

Love your little quote!

*Raising hand* I need a roomie(s) too! My first choice would be to stay onsite but I am happy to stay at HoJo's or whereever if onsite doesn't work out. :)

well (don't tell Lorealle) I will likely book a Hojo room but if a good AP deal comes up move to a DLR hotel (depending on price!)

I am so miserable! I just want to be in bed. If I still feel this way Friday, I seriously doubt I'll be driving. Worst case scenario, I'll be coming down early on Saturday. Why, oh why, don't I live closer to Disneyland?

I wish we'd thought to book you a plane ticket a long time ago--they have $98 fares--if you book two weeks in advance!!!! Otherwise last minute fares are like $300. Aarrrgghh!

Well, if you can't make it Friday better to be safe than sorry.

That's funny I work at a potato plant!
Farmer boy is an electrician at my work.(we dated for almost 4 years)
He farms with his parents part time, peas, lentils, barely & winter & reg wheat.
He is really a great guy, but now when we spend time together, all of the reason we broke, I am reminded of.
John & I are still really good friends. We started seeing each other he was 2 wks away from being divorced. So if it were a different place & a different time, I am sure we would still be together. BUT he has the ex wife from HELL!!! She is so mean, but now she thinks she is my BFF!!

But I have been enjoying meeting new people, going out on dates, the occasional dinner with farmer boy, or nights out with John, late night texts with Jeremy. I think that best part is that none of them expect anything and we all just enjoy each others company. This past year is the first time I have been single since I was 15 and then the year in between my kids dad & I breaking up & farmer boy. Its been very eye opening & I have realized how many jerks there really are out there.

I assume that Amy and I will room together again next year, & we both fall into the category of wanting our own beds, but I think that connecting rooms or at least having all our rooms together would be so much more fun!

That is funny! I have more to reply to you but I have to get ready to go to the DBF's DD's High School Open House. Maybe I'll PM since this is way off topic unless everyone doesn't mind but I have more to share with you...we are very similar in a couple of ways...I started dating my Ex husband when I was 15...:) More later...

Noted that you guys don't share beds. I am trying to keep track and hopefully get everyone matched up with roomies and hopefully connecting roomies as well. And in one area would be great too.

I am gonna try to work out a master plan, and hope that Hojo's goes along with it. :goodvibes
