Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

LOL--well Wendy will have to get her Aunt Mel or cousins Stacie or Michelle or Linda to ride those things with her. You and I can go have a Mickey bar.
I seem to remember you requesting someone to hold your hand, and give some encouragement to ride Splash and Grizzley. I am soooooooooo willing to do that with you. I promise I will be nice and everything. No heckling. Just a little nudge to let you know that you can do it.

I just wanna let ya'll know.. I'm a chicken on the scary rides.
I can't do the scary rides.:confused3
I loves me some scary rides.
Just look at my picture on ToT!! Does that look like a woman who scared to death? I love that ride. Everyone should love that ride! You could love that ride. Really you could. You wanna try it with me too? ::yes::

Now that being said...............I have yet to try Maliboomer and the Swinging Evil Gondolas. Maybe some day someone can hold my hand on those ones. Although when my teenage DD hates a ride (Gondolas)and says it is the most scariest thing she has ever been on, it does cause me to stop and say no way Jose. :scared1:

Oh boy, another ride wimp, join the club.
Did you ever hear about the woman who had a lot of trouble after riding Indiana? Something about her brain I think.

Gonna go watch Idol....

Finally caught up!!!!!:cool1:

Heather, I really like your logo. I liked the yo ho, yo ho at the bottom, too. Since our trip is in February, and most likely it will be cool out, maybe we can do sweatshirts. Either a hoodie with kangaroo pockets, with the image on front, or a zip up, witht he image on back. Just a thought.............

Regarding the meal situation, I've only been to Goofy's for dinner, and I thought it was good. I had a large group with me, and we had to book at first seating, which I think was around 5:00. I think that is a good time to take a break from the park before heading back for the nighttime stuff.
If we do a breakfast, I'd personally like to do a late seating at Minnie's. I've never done that one, but the location is great, and we could get some morning touring done before eating. JMO.

Steph, I hope you get your AC working. It's supposed to be another hot one tomorrow here.

I hope everybody has a great night! I have a bit of computer work to do for tomorrow's client, and then I'm off to watch Idol.

On the way back from WDW a couple of weeks ago--across the aisle was a Mom traveling with two little ones--a girl of around 5 and a boy around 3. They were pretty good the whole flight, but started fidgeting the last hour or so (understandably). So, she was trying to get the little boy to stay in his seat and said something to him and he responded with "no way Jose!"

Everyone around them cracked up! it was adorable!

I made a point of going and looking at them, and they are there! You all had me convenced that I posted a question that was wrong!

And you all thought the new girl couldn't come up with a good trivia contest....I was rather proud of myself! :woohoo:

And I bet you could do it again. You can mix it up, or make it into a puzzle.

Tower of Terror????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:scared1:

Grizzley and Splash--if it's hot outside--I don't want to get wet and then get cold. (I know--cheekin')

Now the Mark Twain? That's my speed . . . . .(but don't get me on the Pooh Ride of Death)

Chase the cat is very sad that Stacielee is not going to be here this weekend. He likes to play "staredown" with her.

Heather!

THe idea of the oldest ladies going sounds good to me!! puckerup:

Dawn, that is so precious about your GDD Rosalyn. :cloud9:

Steph, So sorry about your AC. That's miserable!:headache:

I'm a plain undie person too. :snooty:

Well, I think that you should probably choose those that also have darling boys named Nathanial, with all A's.:thumbsup2

In case anyone is keeping track, I order my bras from "woman within" They have a large assortment of "industrial strength support systems" if ya know what I mean. I got the best underoos at COSTCO. Swear it's the truth. Like $15 for 3 or 5 pairs, but no lines and a bit of tummy support and even a tiny bit of lovely lace and/or ribbon trim. I liked them so much I bought like 5 packs of them. So we are going to have to have a lot of white, beige and blush days:)

That is cute about Stacie and Chase! I would stare him down also as I am allergic and need to be careful lest I start wheezing.

YOu know about the ToT. The name just sounds scary. It really isn't that scary if you ask me. There are other rides that are more scary. Screamin for instance. THe ToT just drops and your tummy tickles. Really and truly. I think it is all the hype that leads up to the ride that gets people going. The suspense and all. Now if you don't like elevators than that could be a different story. My DIL hates elevators. When we were in Vegas you could just see her look around and hear every little noise that went on while on them. It was quite funny, but not to her! Anyways, she finally tried ToT.... the one and only time she will ever get on it. She will go on all other rides.

Try it.........you might like it! Or maybe you have tried it already, and I have been preaching to you far too much! Sorry!

LOL--Stacielee is allergic too--that's what makes it so funny. He just looks at her and sits and stares at her like "I'm coming to get you . . . .and make you sneeze . . . . and your eyes water . . .. ." :rotfl: (I know it's really not funny--but in a strange way--it is).

I DID go on the Tower of Terror--at the Halloween tour last year--I have witnesses. The picture had everyone else with their hands in the air going "whoo-hoo"--I, on the other hand (and maybe Linda?) was clinging on to my seat for dear life.

But preach all you want Auntie Mel!!!! And I will do Grizzly and Splash . . . . someday.

CheryL...that sounds like a plan to me!

Melody... the swinging gondelas.. do you mean the golden zepher? { why is it called the golden zepher if it is silver}
i love that ride... it feels so beautiful.. we usually ride it over and over if there is no line.

Geez I leave to go dodgin balls @ Jordan's baseball game and ya'll have stuff on your noses, poor Heather!

I buy my bra's from Victoria Secret, I love 'em, they are so comfy!!
My underoos, I love the boy short ones, but they are for girls.

 its 81 in my house. There is something wrong with the damn AC!!
The lady who takes care of the house for my landlady, is in the hospital....

I swear I am going to die...

BTW...Heather, I would kid sit :rolleyes1 my boys would have fun....

So maintenance got to the house just after 6. It turns out our puppy the chewer that he is decided to chew through the wires from the unit to the house. As soon as I told the guy the problem he asks is we have a puppy. He knew what the problem was and was able to fix it in about 10 minutes. Now we have to block that area because the next time it happens they'll charge us to fix it. :scared:

Dinner was alright, either way it was a meal I didn't have to cook. :thumbsup2

Alright I'm calling it a night early tonight. I'm in writing class the next 2 days and so far I feel like I'm in Junior High English class. We actually diagramed sentences today.

Have a great night.

steph

Sweet Dreams Steph! I'm glad they could fix it tonight for your family.:goodvibes

Debbie!! Ohmygosh... i do not like the heat. I mean you can only take off so much til you are naked then you are still hot!
Take a cold shower and suck on ice.:goodvibes

Everyone is much fancier then I am.. I just wear undies. HOOOOOMUNGUS undies, according to my 4yo. To cover my hooooomungus butt, you know?:lmao:

On Sunday, my niece came over and the first thing she did was give me a hug and then yell out: "you have a baby in your tummy!" Too bad I don't. :rotfl:

so . . . Wendy Lou Hoo--we riding the Mark Twain this weekend? I know it's your favorite ride!

Heck yeah! Especially since I don't know when I'll make it back to Disneyland and it shouldn't be running on the next girls trip. On this past girls trip I just sat on it by myself and went round and round and round.

LOL--well Wendy will have to get her Aunt Mel or cousins Stacie or Michelle or Linda to ride those things with her. You and I can go have a Mickey bar.

If there's sweets involved, I'll sit out too!

Chase the cat is very sad that Stacielee is not going to be here this weekend. He likes to play "staredown" with her.

I can pretend to be allergic if it makes him feel any better. I know he'll know I'm lying though.

It is funny, but not in a ha ha kinda way.

What do you mean you have witnesses of you going on ToT? I'm almost positive I was on that tour with you and I don't remember you riding with us. :confused3

:rolleyes1

 its 81 in my house. There is something wrong with the damn AC!!

It's 82.8 in mine. :sad2:

I just opened the windows. There is a nice breeze coming through.
So its cooling down. I am so sleepy, but I have a crap load of homework.

my oldest granddaughter, rosalyn, has the sweetest spirit.
She told me... Everyday i am Happy.
It made me cry.
:lovestruc
So sweet. :goodvibes

How neat! I have a 7yo too.. and without him, I would be pulling my hair out with these babies. Who would have guessed he would be more helpful then his dad!:lmao::lmao:
Awww, kids can be so helpful. Well, sometimes. ;)

And you all thought the new girl couldn't come up with a good trivia contest....I was rather proud of myself! :woohoo:
You did good!!

I hope it's cold. I can remember more then one February where it was in the 80's. :scared: That would suck. For me anyway.

Now the Mark Twain? That's my speed . . . . .(but don't get me on the Pooh Ride of Death)
The Pooh Ride of Death?
