Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Beth... like a biggie fries..where is that..wendys?

Heya Courtney... did you get your change counted.. i always save my change .. when i get close to a roll but i'm like 3 short..it's gggrrrrrrrrrpirate:

Ohh, I like at Del Taco they have MACHO size. That sounds so buff to me.

Yes! $40! Woohoo!!!! $40 for Disneyland next week.

Well I didn't count the pennies. I wanted to see what I had BEFORE I take it to the change machine at the bank. I don't like surprises much when it comes to money. :confused3

Just to make sure you know, I would have played, absolutely, it was just that *you'll be there the whole time* part that kept me from it! I wasn't avoiding it, I just didn't qualify. :(

I know Molly, you've told me before. It's just that you did have to be there for the whole time to be able to go on the last day, Sunday. Many people were planning on leaving early. I'm not upset that many didn't play, in fact, I wish there was a way to redo it because of it, but it wouldn't be fair.

On this show I used to watch, they called them gotchies (it's a Canadian show). That's a funny word too. Gotchies.

We call them gonchies here - need the N :thumbsup2

Take a nappers!

Thanks. :goodvibes After my niece said that I started laughing and she walked away and I said, "I'm not pregnant, I'm fat!" She turned around with an angry face and said, "you're not fat, you're beautiful!" :lovestruc :rotfl2:

Aren't kids great ???? Well, sometimes, unless they are teenagers and then YIKES

Maybe her prior liver owner was a super professional speed walker? :upsidedow

I like gotchies!

I've been wondering about that, what the former owner was like and if there's anything to that, about new owners taking on traits...haven't yet figured out how to ask her if SHE has thought of it. She, as one should, takes it very much to heart, that someone lost their life and allowed her to have a better one, and I don't want to sound like I'm making light, and, um, as many of us know, sometimes what I say comes out wrong, so I have to think on it very carefully. :upsidedow

She doesn't even have to have someone there with her tonight! When she was in the hospital they told her "no work for 12 weeks, someone with you 24/7 for 12 weeks, taking your blood pressure and temp every 3 hours" etc etc etc, and it hasn't been a month and she's going back to 50% workload from home (she's a city planner), is alone tonight, etc etc. And she's walking a mile on gravel paths in a hilly park inside of 12 minutes or something.

So yes, I think maybe the former owner was a speed walker.

So so so sweet!

Eamon has been moved to near tears, when Robert talks about his continuing weight loss, because they won't be able to play "bump bellies" once R has lost more of his middle. So sweet.

Yes they are! The next day she told me I was prettier then the girl in your siggie. :lmao:

She also said she liked the girls shoes. :confused3 She must get that from her mother.

Teens are evil!

OK, good. There definitely has to be a way to limit things, I agree! I just didn't want you to feel bad. :goodvibes

So sweet.
And true.

Is it only me, or have others been roped into TV Free week this week? DS brought home a contract for us to sign to keep the tv off for a week. I don't think I'm supposed to have any "screen time" (so no DISing...guess I'm not doing too well :headache:). I like the idea of having the kids not watch tv or spend time on the computers, but I don't want to have to participate, too. :rolleyes1I'm just waiting until they go to sleep. Am I awful??

Tonight Heather really helped me out. And I just wanted to say that i appreciate it so much. And next week i'll share with you how she helped!:goodvibes

Am I awful for not knowing about this? :confused3

I don't watch much TV anyway, but I'm completely glued to my computer. :surfweb:

I don't think you're awful at all for cheating a little. :thumbsup2

Good for her!! I bet she feels so much better with a new liver!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Do the people who receive organs ever find anything out about their donor? Or does it remain anonymous once the organ(s) come out of the deceased person? I never really thought about that...

Hi ladies!

Whoever is doing the scavenger hunt next year, can you pm me? I have a link I'd like to share with you IN CASE you want to use it - you don't have to, of course, but thought I would share.

I looked on the first page, but didn't see it, and my eyes have been kind of blurry since yesterday (ugh).

Thanks. :)

I'm glued to the computer too. I do not see how people function without the internet.

i'm so tired i just can't stay up.

Sweet Dreams, my Friends:grouphug:

CheryL...that sounds like a plan to me!

Melody... the swinging gondelas.. do you mean the golden zepher? { why is it called the golden zepher if it is silver}
i love that ride... it feels so beautiful.. we usually ride it over and over if there is no line.
No it is the ferris wheel thing. It just got repainted with Mickey on it. I can't wait to see it. But mind you, only to see it......not ride it. Geesh I just was looking at another thread on this ride and most folks are scared to death on it. Ones just like me, who love roller coasters and ToT, but they were terrified on that thing. No thanks once again. I don't even think someone holding my hand would help.

LOL--Stacielee is allergic too--that's what makes it so funny. He just looks at her and sits and stares at her like "I'm coming to get you . . . .and make you sneeze . . . . and your eyes water . . .. ." :rotfl: (I know it's really not funny--but in a strange way--it is).

I DID go on the Tower of Terror--at the Halloween tour last year--I have witnesses. The picture had everyone else with their hands in the air going "whoo-hoo"--I, on the other hand (and maybe Linda?) was clinging on to my seat for dear life.

But preach all you want Auntie Mel!!!! And I will do Grizzly and Splash . . . . someday.
So you have tried it. And you really didn't like it? Wow, I'm sorry. Well one less person in line! J/K!

I buy my bra's from Victoria Secret, I love 'em, they are so comfy!!

Me too!

So maintenance got to the house just after 6. It turns out our puppy the chewer that he is decided to chew through the wires from the unit to the house. As soon as I told the guy the problem he asks is we have a puppy. He knew what the problem was and was able to fix it in about 10 minutes. Now we have to block that area because the next time it happens they'll charge us to fix it. :scared:

Dinner was alright, either way it was a meal I didn't have to cook. :thumbsup2

Alright I'm calling it a night early tonight. I'm in writing class the next 2 days and so far I feel like I'm in Junior High English class. We actually diagramed sentences today.

Have a great night.

steph
Aw the puppy ate it. Too cute until it happens again.:headache: Thank goodness they didn't charge you this time. :thumbsup2

On Sunday, my niece came over and the first thing she did was give me a hug and then yell out: "you have a baby in your tummy!" Too bad I don't. :rotfl:

You do not look like that my dear. No way, no how!!!

Heck yeah! Especially since I don't know when I'll make it back to Disneyland and it shouldn't be running on the next girls trip. On this past girls trip I just sat on it by myself and went round and round and round.
I didn't know that.

If there's sweets involved, I'll sit out too!

Hey! What do you mean?

I can pretend to be allergic if it makes him feel any better. I know he'll know I'm lying though.

It is funny, but not in a ha ha kinda way.

What do you mean you have witnesses of you going on ToT? I'm almost positive I was on that tour with you and I don't remember you riding with us. :confused3
Cheryl lied? (Imagine that in Eddie Murphys voice from Mushu in Mulan.) :rotfl:

The Pooh Ride of Death?
.
My thoughts exactly! :rotfl:

So, like for reals, I think I'm getting sick. I suddeny developed a sore throat and runny nose a few hours ago. Cheryl, you might have to let me sit on your lap for Mouse Adventure. :rotfl2:
You may not get sick. YOu do not have time for it. So there! :snooty: Can you see up my nose?:rolleyes1

YOur resistance must be down this year. You have been sick far too much. :sad2:

Hiya Miss Beth!

aahhh Wendylouwho, I'm so glad you got to see your niece.:yay:

Biggie Smalls.. i'm sleepy too!
Who or what is Biggie Smalls?

You know I can see up your nose when you do that, right :confused3
:lmao:
See above post! :rolleyes1

Oh good, can you point out where the "bat in the cave" is for me?

:rotfl2:
LOL!:lmao:

My 4 year old likes to jiggle my stomach and tell me B.O.B. (the gelatenous mold from Monsters vs Aliens) is in my tummy. So nice. :sad2:
Kids........don't ya love them! Out of the mouth of babes. :cutie:

What is there to jiggle on you woman? :confused3
You got that right!
