Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Well you see....the sun heats up the water that causes the atmosphere to heat up. Thus making it quite warm for you. Its all scientific.

No wonder I didn't understand. I don't do Science.

Thanks!!! I will SO visit you under the bus!!!

I totally would have sent you a message, but it's so hot that I'm melting and can't think straight.

It is hot in my room!!

That's 'cause you're one hot mama!

Hi Melody!

No, they said they did not want to do something on Sat as they would be tired and wanted to prep for the MA. I thought it would be fun to do a little mini meet for one night but they are serious and need to focus. And I don't blame them.
Well focus smokus!:snooty: Gee wiz you guys................

I live down the street.
La tee da!:snooty:

Mrs. Cratchet!! I knew I could dig up that name.

Oh, sorry for the interuption!!!

I have to agree. Wendy you are a very beautiful girl and exactly the size and shape you are meant to be. I truly hope you do not beat yourself up over that.

Ok, so my goals for the next ladies trip are:

Grizzly River Rapids (but not if it's cold)
Splash Mountain (ditto)

I need enablers to help me get over my fear of these rides!

I will so help you with those fears!

You got it right, Cheryl!

We are staying, and this is too funny given my previously expressed feelings, on incentive/developer's points, at the DLH, in, um, a concierge room. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But hey, we couldn't spend 6 or whatever days away, the points do expire, and so we decided to splurge on a shorter&fancier stay rather than have the points disappear or force ourselves into a longer stay.

Now we kinda wish that we'd gone with the longer, non-concierge stay, b/c we were conserving Vacation Time days for a WDW trip in October, but now that trip is on the back burner anyway...but oh well. It'll be nice to have a perspective of DLH concierge when you're a vegetarian family that can't have corn syrup products. :upsidedow

Well hey Molly, just try to get your money's worth out of the concierge lounge on Eamon's bday and load your pockets to distribute at the mini meet:thumbsup2

Well, the Pooh characters don't excite me, but I thought Minnie's food was good (different from Storyteller's though--not as much choice) so I'm in!
We really enjoyed Minnie's and one of my favorite parts was when the Fairy GodMother called out "Tracey, Tracey Dear" across the restaurant. We also saw Captain Hook, and Balou, as well as Minnie. And I do love Tigger.

I should be cleaning, I should be cleaning, I should be cleaning....I've heard that if you say something 3 times your wish will come true. After the morning I've had, cleaning the toilet will be a vacation! :rotfl:

My must Dos:

Aladdin (How did I miss this last time?)
Parade
Fantasmic!
Tom Sawyer Island-ooops! I mean Pirates Cove
Walk in Walts Footsteps
Club 33 (again!-who wants to go this time?)

Ooo, ooo, ooo, pick me! Oh yeah! I won't be there:sad2::sad2:

But hey, maybe we can ditch your hubby and the boys and hit Club 33 in October:)

I might do Goofy's with you in Oct. if it is when I am there, and is breakfast...hmm....keep me posted.

Trip Planning? :confused3

Awwww, come on, I want more DRAMA . . . popcorn::popcorn::
;)

Seriously, the trip planning is going to make me so sad, because I know I'm not going. :sad2: And I never did get to the Cove Bar, dang it!

Things are looking up for me Divas!

I have been trying to get Nathan into music therapy for weeks now. They just called and they have an opening on Wednesdays!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

I hope he likes it. She even told me that I can bring Nolan and he can participate. It will be great for her to help teach him sharing, waiting, and all that fun stuff.

I'm almost in tears because it's just wonderful when all of your hard work pays off. Thank you Lord!

Heather

Amen! Wonderful news Heather. I am very happy for you and Nathan.

Hey y'all! I'm posting from work!

But shhhh, don't tell anybody! :tiptoe:

I had a dozen roses waiting for me on my desk when I got here! The firm bought all the employee's a dozen roses for Professional's Week or whatever, and since I came in today, I got roses too! Ain't that sweet?? :cloud9:

You ought to see them. They're light pink, and the tips are dark pink. Soo pretty! They remind me of Aurora! princess:

Anyway, I haven't gotten roses in years and years, so I just had to share! I know I'm going to get a line of questioning from Dan when I come home with flowers. He won't believe I actually got them from work! :rotfl:

That is so special. I love roses, and especially free ones. Don't even care if there is any romantic attachment. In fact have been known to buy them for myself on occasion.

And Geesh People. Can you keep the chatting under control. It is so hard to keep up. I do miss you all though and love to skim read even if I can't respond to everything. So jealous of Beth, Jane and Amy. No fair. Someone come to Seattle and have a mini meet with me:) Oh, yeah, Kerry, where are you??? Like I would have time anyhow. We did miss baseball tonight but only because both of my children are home puking and neither one of them made it to the toilet even one time. They did finally start being able to make it into their lapbowls though. Bad stuff. I am hoping like heck that hubby and I are not going to get it.

And on that note, I am off to bed. Night everyone!

It was 92 in my bedroom when I got home at 6:30. With fans, we have gotten it cooled to a chilly 87!!!

It is April, it isn't right!!!

Wait, aren't you in San Diego? Should you have nice cool beach weather?

WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?!?!?

 Damn, lots of talking tonight!!! :rotfl: I only skimmed. I'm so tired and ready for this day to come to an end.

Dinner with Amy and Jane was a nice way to close it. We ate at a place called Brio; they serve Italian food. It was very good. We sat outside and chatted. Nice and relaxing.

Now, it's late and I'm exhausted. Talk to y'all tomorrow. :)

That's 'cause you're one hot mama!

:cutie:

Is there a good girls club that I can join? :confused3

I will check into it and get back to ya!
