If anyone is looking for some slumber party ideas or stuff to get in the mood for the meet and greet, be careful. I googled slumber party and came up with a site that wasn't so innocent. Instead of fun loving sleep over ideas, I got bowchicabrowncow music. Not what I was looking for. So just keep that in mind.

What about doing a few colors that go together like pinks, purples or lavender. That would make for a fun photo with the princesses.

I vote for purple or turquoise. I would say pink, but the pirate one is pink and black, right? So we want different colors - I think.

If we get, say purple for instance, and some of you ladies send your own tees to me, then the colors may vary. Unless that is not a big deal. If it is, then we all might have to get them from the same source. One thing that you could do, is to go ahead and order from American Apparel, try it on, and then send it to me. Or find a store that carries them, try them on, and give me the style and size? That would save postage.

Or we all find a tee, at Target for instance. Same purple for all sizes. Either you send it, or I scrounge around for all the sizes as best a I can. We have 3 Targets in our area, so I could do pretty good finding them.

I'm game for anything. Truly!

OR just do black.

Even if they are not all the exact same color, but in the area of it, I think that will be fine. Especially since we are talking a wide range of sizes. The color you have in the design mock up looks good to me. A bit princessy, but not overly so.

I personally don't care if we do two black shirts or not. It would be nice to have color though. And black tends to find all the lint and hidden things that show up on dark rides under the flourecent lights. ick.

American Apparel is great stuff and while their women's cut is kinda small their unisex shirts come in about a million different colors. I love the mint, grass, fuschia, lavender, etc, etc! http://store.americanapparel.net/2001.html?cid=198

The only problem is they are all crew neck. I cannot wear those sort of tees. They make me feel like I'm choking.

I think the easiest thing would be to have everyone buy their own tee in a purple color. That way they get the size, cut, fabric, style, etc that they prefer. If the shades of purple are off a little, I personally don't see that as being a big deal. But that's just my opinion.

I agree. I'm fine with two black shirts, but purple would be nice especially if everyone is allowed to pick their own version/shade of purple. In fact, I think different shades of the same color might even look pretty in the picture.

I thought the other link was cute but something in me isn't happy only getting 7 cookies for over $60.

I looked at quite a few of the baskets, and there are so many to choose from. Even Disney if we want. The Get Well baskets are so cute too.

I would be more than happy to do this for all of us. But I do need to know what hospital she is in.



So it sounds like purple might be the color choice. And unless you send them to me, I will take care of getting the shirts.

I don't know if whoever has Dawn's address missed my last post but I would like Dawn's address please! Thanks!

Also I would be happy to participate in a group gift also just let me know.

As far as the shirts go I am easy, whatever you guys decide I am fine with. I just hope that WHATEVER we decide for both that we can have them MADE somewhere. Cuz again if "I" have to do it they will look like ca ca. Even if I have to buy the shirts and mail them to someone to make I will GLADY pay someone to make them for me!

Anyway not much going on today. Just more chores and stuff round here. Shane is going to be gone tonight and tomorrow. He is studying for his contractors license test which he takes Thurs morning so he will have to miss work. His boss was NOT happy that he had to miss another day's work and either was I cuz he has missed so many days on his paycheck but if he passes it will be a good thing I guess.

I sure hope Dawn is going to be ok. I am really worried about her! My continued prayers to her and her family!
