Right now on SW its $266 RT
My flight leaves at 7:15 AM
Monday if I choose that flight leaves at 4:50 PM and arrives at 8:50 PM in Spokane.

I only paid $30 for my flight down there, I had SW credit from my flight to Vegas in June.

Well a little bit and I saw on FB that Beth was going to be sitting on a bench with a drink...and that sounded great!

I simply don't have that competitive nature in me. I had tons of fun last time, but man did I pay for it the next day. I was sore!! So I'm signed up for sure, but I've requested a more laid back team. We might stop for corn dogs and drinks along the way.

Speaking of verify, I signed my Mom and I up for all this stuff and I didn't even tell her. What a great daughter I am.

The scavvy committee, decided to make the deadline for signups the first part of January. That gives most of us here the time to make sure that we can come. Also there are some ladies who are MIA, that need to see all the stuff that is going on around here. I know you mentioned January, and Kerri came to mind too.

I also wonder what happened to Christine, and some of the others. How about Pixiewings too?

Okay, I will update it to say the first of January. I haven't seen Kerri in awhile. Nor Christine. Kerri wasn't sure she could make it, she's working on it. And January's been on FB but not here, so I don't know what's up. I do hope they are all ok.

Hi ladies! This has been a long day. I can't believe it is only 3:45!
All the kids are home today because of Veterans Day. Doing lots and lots of laundry! I had to get a prescription filled (thank God Walgreens has a drive-thru pharmacy! ) so I decided to take them to Carl's Jr. for lunch. They have an indoor playplace so we killed some time there. Of course my 3 yo threw a fit when it was time to leave and I remembered why we never go to those places.

I have been researching airline tickets. So if I am following along right - Patty is flying into LAX. Anyone else? Or is everyone else flying into SNA? I am seeing LAX is cheaper for me but not sure if I can get there early enough in the day to shuttle with Patty.

Afternoon all! I am back from my day with mom.

It didn't start out very well though! I drove all the way to Folsom where my doc office is and first off they were having a veteran's day parade so half the town was closed off which made driving a major pain and then when I FINALLY got to my doc's office they would NOT let the girls have the shots. They said because they were "new" patients that they wouldn't do it. I was NOT happy. I was like this is BS! They are STILL patients and in the group that is at risk. They gave me a list of "clinics" but all of the clinics around here have lines that are HOURS long and they wanted me to drive to placerville which is over a half hour away. I was like FORGET that! I was NOT happy. First they send me an e-mail telling me I can get the shot then they turn me down when I get there. I told Shane the girls BETTER not get sick since they REFUSED to give them the shots!

Then he wanted me to call our ins to see if they could even DO such a thing and I couldn't even get through! So my day didn't start out too great. But anyway then we went to Cheescake factory and I found not one but TWO hairs in my food. When I found the first one I just blew it off but when I found the 2nd I couldn't eat anymore. I was like EWWWWWWWWWWW. It kind of ruined my appetite. So they took my food back and didn't charge me for it but everyone else already had their meals and I didn't want to wait for them to cook another one so I just split mom's. But it was pretty dissapointing. Then we were looking for a pair of shoes for shelby and must have gone to 4 stores before we found her size but we finally found a pair and they were REALLY understaffed in ALL the stores which just amazes me. They keep complaining about how the economy is so bad and no one is buying but this is the 2nd time I have been to that mall and they are WAY understaffed and I have been standing there WAITING to buy something and can't because there is no one to TAKE my money. That is really bad! I used to work retail and that is really bad customer service to let paying customers walk away because you don't have enough staff to take care of them!

We were able to get some good deals at penneys and children's place for the girls and mom got a few things at the Disney store although I didn't really see anything I liked. They changed our store and it is mostly toys now and hardly any clothes. If you bought something though you got a really cute bag for 2 bucks and if you bought 25.00 worth of stuff they had a cute snow globe you could get. So mom got those for christmas gifts.

Then we ran across the street to go to the kitchen store and I was DYING of thirst and the place we went to didn't have anything cold. I was like SHEESH it is just not my day LOL. AFTER I had paid for a cold water they had to give me my money back and they gave me a coupon for a free drink and I was like I don't want a coupon I am dying of thirst. I couldn't believe they had NOTHING cold in that whole place. So we finally left and now we are home and the girls have church tonight. They are supposedly getting some awards so hopefully that goes well.

At least we got some GREAT deals on the stuff we got. Mom had a 30% coupon for penneys so that was good!

Anyway back to reality tomorrow!

I pretty much did. It was actually a forwarded email from another manager. She asked me my opinion on it. I basically said screw them and the horse the rode in on. She emailed me back and asked me to think my response over and so she could reply to the other party in a diplomatic way.

LAX is usually cheaper for us out of San Jose, too, but we never fly there. It is much easier to get in and out of John Wayne, plus I think it is cheaper to shuttle back and forth from there. Also, if you can use Jet Blue, they fly into Long Beach, which is super-easy.
