Happy birthday Linda!!!!! You deserve a special day all to yourself.

I'm hoping I can do the stocking exchange. I will discuss it with DH this week.

I love the talk about the trip. It will be here before we know it, especially now that we are entering the holiday season!

I've been doing well. I'm trying to decide what I want to do for Christmas cards this year. I need to get a photo appointment scheduled soon, but I don't know what I want to do.

Hello ladies!!!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

I am sick. Boooooo!!! Nothing to serious, (so far), just a head cold, but I can't breath at all through my nose and I hate that. Plus I have a bad sinus headache. Ugh.

Anyway, I'm still excited for Halloween and hope you all have a great time whatever you do tonight!

I read back, but with my medicine head don't know what I'll recall.

Sarah, congrats to your DH!!! As for the gospel brunch you just have to call and book it through the events planner. Not sure how far out though.

We had a good Halloween! We went to each of the grandparents houses, to the carnival which was packed and a lot of fun...especially the game where you had to try to eat a donut off a string with out using your hands! LoL! We then went trick or treating in my moms neighborhood where a bunch of my friends and co workers live! There were soooooooo many kids! My mom gave away 2 huge costco bags of candy and that was with only giving one piece per kid!!!! I have never seen the like except for at MNSSHP in DW!

DH had his first day of work today and it seemed to go very well! DD went to my DS's daycare for the first time and came home happy and filthy so I am really pleased that they are getting so much play time and time were they aren't together just the 2 of them! They were starting to drive each other crazy!

first, the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS to Ms. Linda and Ms. Cristabel. I am sorry I was away for both of your special days

things are going well here--a few issues which I will share later when I have a full-size keyboard. Suffice it to say it was deja vu. . . .

but overall great weather and not too big a crowd, no bus troubles and lots of yummy food!

Ugh, trying to get some clarification on my hotel and show package booking for my anniversary in december and no one is open! And of course most to the time they are open I am at work! I am nervous that when I changed which night we were going to stay that they may not have changed my show night to match up! Ugh! Now I am going to be all freaking out until I can find out which won't be until at least tomorrow afternoon!

Donated an organ (piece of her liver, IIRC) to her dad, who she hates, but she did it for her sister, Little Gray, who begged her. Brought the two sisters closer, and set us up for a reconciliation with her dad (hasn't happened yet, but I think it will).

I have been trying to follow along....looks like everyone had quite the time at the mini meet. I was at home with Dd and a fever.

Halloween was fun...got 2 whole trick or treaters.

Welcome to GrandBob....makes me laugh the conversation going on. Instead of Prince Grandbob, I think while obviously a prince among men, he is more of a random Bob since he popped up out of nowhere!! Glad to see you. My Dh leaves all of the planning to me and would paint himself blue before coming on these boards.

Maybe GrandBob can be our mascot!!

Morning and Happy Tuesday divas, And Bob too!

Hope everyone is well! I went in to work yesterday and about lunch time I started feeling really crummy. Shelby had a sore throat and I am not sure if I got something from her or my own disease. But anyway Shane got some Kings tickets from work and wanted to go but by the time it was time for me to go home I was feeling REALLY crappy so I told him to just go with some friends!

I guess they had a blast but I went home and watched Some Like it Hot off the On Demand and could barely make it through that. Needless to say I didn't watch ANY of my shows last night as I was in bed by 7:30. BLEH! I don't seem to have a fever thank goodness but I feel like I was hit by a bus. Just that all over achy feeling, headache and just kind of weak/dizzy. I HATE feeling like this esp when I still have to get up and get the girls ready for school etc. I still have a ton of laundry to do too but I think it is going to have to just wait. As SOON as I get back from dropping the girls off I am going to take a nice long hot bath and go back to bed!

Cristabel I hope your birthday was lots of fun and Linda yours sounded amazing as well!!

Good morning girls! How is everyone?

Hi Courtney!

If the traffic is perfect...and that doesn't happen very often here in CA as you know...it takes an hour. But an average it takes 1.5 hours.

We/I normally take the 118 to the 5 but we have also taken the 118 to the 210 and then take the 605 and hook into the 5 after a loft of the traffic has died down or you can take the 57 instead of the 605 and zip right into DL. The 210 route is longer but if traffic on the 5 stinks and it often does then the 210 route is faster. I wish there was an easier, quicker route. How do you normally go do to DL?

We usually just take the 101 to the 5. But we always ALWAYS hit some kind of traffic in LA. I guess that’s expected. We went through the 118 the other day to go to Bakersfield, then to the 5 (but northbound) and we were wondering if it would be quicker to go that route than the 101. I mapquested it and the estimated time is the same, maybe 10 minutes longer. We have been just avoiding the mornings when we leave for DL and leave in the afternoon and we seem to avoid most traffic. But we passed through Simi and it made me think of you and how you guys get there!!

Oh my gosh, I so needed this laugh this morning! I really like the idea of a dis diva mascot. I can tell that your Princess is a lucky lady.

Hi AmySue. Hang in there! Kelly, I think I have what you have, except that I had chills too. Showed a low grade fever, but felt like 110. I am glad my 13 year old can get himself ready and he even threw the little one a glass of chocolate milk for me. Finally drug myself out of be at 7, but my head is pounding!

Trace I had that last night. One minute I would be freezing with the whole chills thing and then I would be so hot I had to throw all the covers off. I HATE that. I went to bed wearing a sweatshirt and fuzzy pj pants cuz I was so cold but then in the middle of the night had to take the sweatshirt off and put on a t-shirt cuz I was so hot. And I could NOT sleep cuz I was SO achy I kept tossing and turning. Have the nasty headache too! UGH! Get well vibes to us all!!!
