I like horses but I find them intimidating, I'm always afraid they are going to trample me.

I was wakened with a jolt because my school decided to have an earthquake drill. Apparently they called all the students about 5 minutes before the drill. I did get a call but I ignored it because I was sleeping Now I can't go back to sleep. At least it wasn't raining!

I have never seen the Monkey Bride but last Halloween I swear I saw a velvet painting of Elvis. Am I crazy or has anyone else seen this? I've looked when the ride doesn't have the Nightmare overlay but haven't seen it again.

So Beth any news from your family on what they are going to do for you for your birthday or is it a surprise! I know they are special and so are YOU so I am sure whatever it is will be awesome!! I hope since you can't be with us that you have an amazing birthday with your wonderful family as I KNOW you will and I will def be thinking of you and wishing you a very happy birthday!!

The sun finally came out here. It was so cold and blustery and now it is hot again. WEIRD! Off to pick up the girls and then can't wait for survivor and flash forward!!

I'm still in Denver but I've been fighting a chest cold since I got here! Ugh! I am feeling better today and hopefully will continue to feel better. I've tried every remedy that's been suggested and I am hoping something finally works! Thanks Donna! Mr. CA is coming tomorrow (it was looking a little iffy weather he would come or I would just go home but looks like he'll be coming here) and we'll stay with my sister for one night and then it is off to Vail!

I have been having a good time despite not feeling 100% and have been playing a lot of Toy Story Mania on the Wii with my 8 yo nephew...who btw has the same cold as I do so we've been cough buddies.

Worst of all... i'm guilty of watching these crazy women on Desparate Housewives of Atlanta.. What are they thinking going on tv and behaving in this manner?

Well.....honestly, I doubt we'll do much. Maybe dinner out or something. Which is fine. I don't really want anything.

I do want the 5 disc set of Ally McBeal. I loved that show when it was on and they just recently came out with the whole series, all 5 seasons, in one boxed set. Other than that, I don't want or need anything.

Theresa.. When do you leave next week?

We're leaving bright and dang early on Thursday a.m. - have to leave the house by 5:30. We're trying something different this trip and we're taking the Quick Shuttle to SeaTac airport, which is about 2.5 hours or so away, but the bus arrives 3 hours before our flight, then the 2.5 hour flight, then DL Express to the hotel..... So basically we'll be really tired by the time we finally get there, about 12 hours later!!! What was I thinking Not sure, but the air fare was a great price

It's too scary - not really junk food though, just turkey dinner leftover and a ginormous piece of the best chocolate cake in the world It's one of those weeks where I'm so busy, I can barely think straight. I have been working since 5:00 a.m. and I'm nowhere near done. I still have to give someone bad news and review and grade some documents for another trainee, plus try and get some typing done myself....... Wish me luck because my bed is calling my name REALLY loudly right now (I think it's the cake that did me in )!
