Beth, I know what you mean? Maybe they're all just super busy! I hope that's all it is!

Now back to the mess at DCA! I for one, am happy that Disney is at least thinking this through before they open up the WoC. Can you imagine the mess, if they didn't? Just look at the mess that happened when alot of folks wanted to see Murphy the Dragon for the first time at Fantasmic. And he wasn't even there!

Anywhos, I think the Showpass idea is great. If you are not able to get one, than you still have the choice of standing outside of the ampitheater.

Now to Carsland. I personally can not wait for it. (Sorry Dawn) I loved Test Track at EPCOT, and this will be 10 times better cuz of all the beautiful scenery you will go through while racing!! I know my grandsons are going to love it. They absolutely love the movie Cars. I also think the hovering bumper wheels will be a blast. And finally if they put in a themed restauant like they have at WDW will be a big plus. You know............. something like the Drive in Theater one at the MGM/Disney Studios park?

I too would like to see something Beauty and the Beast! How about a really nice bookstore featuring all things Disney? I know it's not a ride, but I think it is something the parks could use, if you ask me. Make it into a read and sip coffee or tea area. Like Borders. Have Belle read to the kids or just be there!

Another big character attraction missing is Cinderella! Go figure that? Of all the princesses, I think she is probably the most popular, and she doesn't have squat! At least at DL she doesn't! How sad is that? Oh wait.........she has a tiny castle at Storybookland.


Well so much for my thoughts. I know that when the WoC opens, it's going to be a mess no matter what. Like Cristabel said, it might take a while or some extreme patience to see it right away.

Well my day just got a little crappier! I got a call from our bank and it seems Lynn decided to deposit (on purpose mind you) 2 envelopes totalling 300 that were EMPTY!

I like the Showpass idea, I just think the reality needs some work. It's still going to be a mess because a showpass only gets you in, but not a good seat. The line to get in will wind all through the park if they aren't careful. lol

The seating area for Fantasmic in WDW at the Hollywood Studios is huge, but the line up and waiting area is such that those lined up early don't effect the park much. In DCA it's so cramped already that I can see it being a bit of a problem. But time will tell.

Here I am, I was such a downer the last time I posted I decided to wait a few days until I got myself straight. Well as straight as I can because I have never been quite right.

So how is everyone doing? It starting to cool down here though not as bad as in some places but this going from 80 to 50 in one day is just not right.

Now I need to go back and read some more.

Well my day just got a little crappier! I got a call from our bank and it seems Lynn decided to deposit (on purpose mind you) 2 envelopes totalling 300 that were EMPTY! Then she withdrew the cash and went and spent it ALL! So she got debits in her account which is now overdrawn plus 2 50 dollar service charges for the 2 deposits. I thought they might prosecute her because it is like writing bad checks but they just cancelled her ATM card and told her she has to make all her deposits in the bank and they will put a permanent hold on all her checks from now on. I swear I don't know what the hell she is thinking. That was outright theft. She is trying to go in the military PLUS she is on probation. I told her she is lucky I don't call her probation officer and that the bank wasn't harder on her. I honestly was surprised they didn't prosecute her! UGH!

So sorry for everything you are going through.

Melody... there You go! Why doesn't Disneyland have a nice Disney themed bookstore.. they could have children's books and even hit a new market with tweens and teens.. and big coffee table books for adults. They are missing their mark by not having that store.

I see Molly every so often on some of the other threads and as a matter of fact I think she may be at Disney now or very soon. I think she was going a bit early and may be there at the same time we will be.

Yes, the majority of us arrive Thursday for the meet & greet on Thursday night. From what I have read, many ladies fly in through SNA (Santa Ana) and get a ride together.

Hey Becci! We usually go Thursday to Sunday. And we fly into Orange County on Southwest or Long Beach on Jet Blue. You can sometimes find $30 flights on JB from San Jose, but they aren't refundable like Southwest. That's the only issue with going that route.
