Hi Beth - Welcome Back!

Glad you guys had so much fun.
Hummm, I had decided not to go to the Gospel Brunch as I am not religious, but may change my mind now. Thanks for sharing that. Have fun with those chores!

I'm not religious either. I never go to church. But this was so fun. At one point they had us waving our white linen napkins above our heads, hooping and hollering. And the food was really amazing, especially the cheese grits. Good old southern cooking.

On the way to school this morning DD tells me her and her friends were thinking of getting together on Halloween and having a sleep over. I asked where at?....She lets me know that she would like it at our house. Ok, no problem. She never asks for stuff like that. But then she informs me that she will also be inviting 3 of the guy friends in the group. She is so used to hanging out with her male cousins and doing sleep overs with them that she doesn't even think its odd to have guys at the sleep over. Didn't think I would have to deal with this.

She's in 9th grade, right? I just had to deal with that with Allyson!! Since Christine's BF has stayed over here... ON THE COUCH... Allyson thinks it should be okay for her, too!!

Amy, I think you need to film yourself doing it step by step so I can learn!

Yup, I was thinking the same thing, and I saved the link to the step-by-step so hopefully when I finally do it, it will work!!

Hi Ladies,

I remember a few pages back people were talking about Cassi's great Tye-Dye shirts and her pictures of the Halloween Party at WDW with her DBF and DS. I went to her Etsy page and found a note saying that her boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident and it was shut down for awhile. Does anyone know if this is a new note? This thread moves so quick sometimes that you may have already discussed this and I missed it. It feels odd to be worried about someone you've never met but it was only a few days ago that she was on here excited about their trip.

Beth I am so glad you had fun and can't wait to see your pics!!

Not much going on here today. Mom's still up in Truckee with my cousins although they are coming home today. I haven't heard from her yet so not sure if she wants me to run over and feed or not but otherwise I plan to just hang out at home and enjoy chillaxing!

Did my workout yesterday and survived So plan to do it again today! Feels good to get back to it! Watched Heroes and that new show Trauma last night. It was just eh. I will probably watch for lack of anything better since I usually tivo DWTS and watch it the next day but if they ended up cancelling it I wouldn't be heart broken. So far it is not knocking my socks off.

That's pretty much it for me. It is pretty dark and gloomy outside. I wish it would rain. I am looking forward to the weather changing but on my weather.com it is just saying cloudy but no rain in site. AT least it is forcast to finally cool down a bit. The highest temps in the next 10 days are in the 80's and on Sunday it is only supposed to get in the 60's!!

So I am glad it is going to cool off finally! Looking forward to that and hope it STAYS!

Ahhh it sounds like you all made cute shirts! It's great that Amysue shared how to make them. What colors did you make?

My Mom and I bought a little tye dye fabric and we are cutting mickey heads out of that..then sewing them on our solid color t shirt. That's what is going to work best for us. I'm sure there will be different variations of tye dye when we all get together.

Angie - yes, this is recent. Her BF was in a motorcycle accident, but he's fine and out of the hospital now. She'll probably get back to it soon.

Thanks, we had a great time. Didn't get on Space but got my highest score on TSM! The villas were awesome. We ended up having crockpot lasagne for dinner at the villas.

I can't wait either. I was toying around with the idea of going this weekend because I'm excited to see all the new Halloween stuff, but I think I'm going to wait a little while since the first weekend might be packed.

It wasn't bad - except Space & HM.

Theresa, and Marcie are coming in to town tonight and we have fun plans for the weekend. Tonight it's Zumanity and dinner, tomorrow Cheesecake Factory, concert/wine festival, and Kahunaville, and Sunday HOB Gospel Brunch, Chippendales and Voodoo Lounge.

How was Zumanity? I've not seen any of the Crique shows in Vegas but want to see them all.

My tie dye shirts came out great--you can definitely see the Mickey--but some of the dye bled onto the white part--so I am definitely picking up some bleach pens and using those. I will post pics as soon as I can. The larger ones came out the best--the Halloween ones.

Zumanity was awesome. It was my second time seeing it and Theresa's first. We both loved it. You have to be open minded. There are men in drag, two men kiss, and there are topless women and countless sexual references and jokes, so if you are very conservative you might not enjoy it. It's a great show though. KA, Love and Zumanity are my favorites.

Nice. My hubby & I really want to see KA after seeing the marketing commercials for it in the MGM casino last time. I've also heard that O is good. Have you seen that one?

Kerri, unfortunately we haven't seen O yet. We were going to on our anniversary in June but bought tickets for the new Lion King show instead. My in-laws have seen it and loved it. I've also seen Mystere which is good too. Really, I'm sure all the Cirque shows are spectacular in their own way.

His accident was last week but she's back in business now.

I can't wait for my shirt to arrive. I'm a little woried about shrinkage. It fit just right before but I don't know if tie dye is done in hot water. I guess I can always get it wet and stretch it out if I need to.
