Okay everyone, here's a few pics and videos of our trip if ya wanna check them out.

Luke and Justin riding TOT (in the front row). It was Luke's first, and by the looks of it, probably his last time riding the TOT - LOL.

LOL--of course you loved Cheryl! And I will make special jello shots for you--another jello shot maker!

I put vodka in those. I ussually use vodka sometimes flavored. I tried rum one time and it wasn't as good.

I had a friend do cherry jello one time and she put a marachino? cherry in each shot. The only thing was she forgot to tell us that she had been soaking them in 100 proof for over a month!

I'm off to a doctors appt and then I'll be on my way to DL to meet Donna and Tracy for lunch at the Carnation Plaza. Exicted to meet Tracy! Then tomorrow D23 starts...I am so excited! So much is planned I am only hoping that it's not too crowded and we are able to see all of the presentations that we've scoped out!

Lucky girl! Have fun!!

Ummmmm, I'm feeling a little lost now that our youngest is in school ALL day.....almost like I'm going through some kind of empty-nester syndrome.

Fall?? What's that? Oh, you mean that 1 week we get here in Phoenix when it's below 90 degrees, then drops to the 70's??

Class should be starting in a few minutes but my prof isn't here yet. It seems he's one fry short of a happy meal if ya KWIM

BTW, loved your report on the kids' suites. I think we'll stick with Bldg. 2 for future trips. I can't handle the freeway noise.

Hello friends! I am finally digging out from all the emails and work that accumulated during our trip and had a few minutes to catch up on the thread.

We had a nice trip, but as Capri and Jen already shared, it was quite hot and sweaty. On top of that I left for vacay feeling under the weather, so between tne heat and just not feeling right, we didn't do a whole lot on Friday & Saturday. Sadly I missed the mini meet on Friday night, but I would not have been good company as I was utterly exhausted.

By Sunday I was feeling better so the last two and half days of the trip were much more productive and Ty had a wonderful time celebrating his birthday at DL! He made friends with a cast member--David (a little person) who works the Lightning McQueen and Mater photo opp and we are looking forward to seeing David again in October after visiting with him multiple times on this trip. We also had an amazing breakfast at Storyteller's with some of the best character interactions ever--Ty and Terk (from Tarzan) played peekaboo with a napkin and Koda (from Brother Bear) led Ty on a walk around the entire restaurant.

We also got to see Murphy dragon on Monday night, and I loved it, but Dave still hates DL's F! because of the lack of seats. I also lucked into getting one of the limited edition Mickey as the Ghost Host plush, so I was totally pumped about that.

All in all, we had a good time (as always) but today has been reality smacking me in the face as I try to catch up on work and I know that I have a ton to do around the house with unpacking, laundry, etc.!

Alrighty.. we are allll paccked. My boyfriend is going to work half a day then we will hoP in the car and go. We're going to drive half the way today and stay the night along the way. Then go the rest of the way tomorrow. I'm soo excitted.. it will be great to get to relax with Bob and to get to see my friends! I can't wait.. it is going to be such a great time!

I keep checking airfare for both Oct and Feb. But right now, it's just looking bad. Not to mention I'd have to buy a parkhopper since I don't have an AP. But man, am I jonesin for some Disney time. <<sigh>>.

Aww, I feel your pain. I was just pricing out how much it would be to go to DL for my birthday in October. Even though I already knew it wouldn't be affordable, I just had to torture myself.
Between hotel, gas, food and van rental it would already be over $600. That doesn't include anything else like Halloween party tickets for 6! So needless to say, it's not happening.

I'm sorry WDW is on hold for you, but you know, they have some really nice beaches in Florida! Kendall could end up getting her wish for "both".

Just a quick hello to all the ladies. I only have a minute, but I wanted to check in ( I feel so out of the loop). I've been really itching to go to Disneyland. I haven't gone since July (which is a long time for me), but the timing hasn't been right lately. I want to try and go this weekend, but I think the crowds might be too heavy because of D23.

Hope the ladies at D23 are having a great time.

Capri- Love the pics. Looks like you all had a great time even though it was hot.

Callie- If you can swing it, I think you should try and make it to one of the meets. You will be greatly missed if you don't make it to either .
